More Assassin's Creed 2. Made it to Memory Block nr 6, so some progress. But also a lot of waffling about. Have started to need to take drastic measures about those archers, so now the first one to make a comment gets a dagger in his neck. Figure I'll end up killing all the noisy ones and then I'll just have to tend with some quiet, polite archers. An assassin can dream I guess. Also decked out the home base, buying all the upgrades I could and a bunch of paintings. So the place is looking pretty good. So had some fun. I do like the freedomish feeling about picking side quests. Even if I'm trying to do most of them when they come, it's nice to know I don't have to right away. Now if only I could get those damn feathers on the map as well, I'd be set.

Played some more AC Odyssey and killed quite a few Cultists and Mercenaries in the last couple of days ( some were easy some were hard ) did also quite a few side quests and by time i had a lot of fun. Cleared out a few forts as well the fun part is if you stay hidden while you kill them of one by one. Because otherwise you have to run for your life literally haha. At least i am running because if 10 of those soldiers come at you with their shields up there is almost no chance of getting out of there alive. I have to say that this is my favorite Ability by far it is soooo much fun to kick a soldier of a cliff and see them flying through the air. I'm sure that Ubisoft watched this movie. 300 and if you'll haven't seen it yet you'll should. P.s at least i can wield a weapon again i don't know what kind of bug that was ... i still can't wield my favorite weapon though and that bugs me a little. I do feel guilty when I assassinate soldiers while the are peeing. Shield breaker is a must have ability in my PT.

I started up No Man's Sky again this week. First time since 2016. Boy did thy make a lot of changes! So many new things to do, get a freighter, build a base, get a vehicle, there is even new stories in the game. It's nice that they made the upgrade system a little more deep. In the original version, you just upgraded you stuff for a while and then you were done. Now you can spend a lot more time building and getting stuff. This is good because the game is essentially just a crafting game. It's not a space sim because the space battles are too simple and no fun. It's not a shooter because the shooter mechanics are too simple and no fun. It's not an exploration game because the environments are getting repetitive very very quickly. But the cycle of getting raw materials to craft stuff to get more and better raw materials more easily is wirking pretty well for quite a few hors. I started a new game in the new survival mode, which is not as difficult as I would have imagined. Environmental hazards and such are fairly easily managed, the basic resources seem to also be available on every planet, so you can't really play yourself into a corner at all. Just, if you happen to land on a planet with truely extreme conditions, you just fly to the next one and try your luck there, but I already used to do this in normal mode. The only real hazard that got worse in survival mode is hostile creatures. Those buggers will kill you with 2 hits and chase you forever. Fortunately, some friendly Vy'keen gave me his multitool, which was equipped with a shotgun, perfect weapon against these critters. Problem is, they tend to sneak up on you. Good thing I didn't start in permadeath mode, that would be a little harsh. I am not that far in yet (only did 5 warp jumps so far) but I already found a planet with ancient bones to find - some of the most valuable objects in the game. I am going to build a base and a teleporter there, so whenever I need units, I can come back there and make a few million bugs in an hour. Almost makes the game too easy but I do play these kinds of games more for relaxation anyway. Overall, as crafting games go, I liked subnautica way better, the world was custom built and thus more interesting and the story presentation was much much better (although I do like NMS's premise with the simulated realities and stuff). Still, I did already pure 15 or so hours into the game again, so it's not all bad, hehe. Not sure if I can be bothered to make it all the way to the center of the galaxy again this time around but I'll keep crafting for a while longer, I guess.
Urizen : Soooo, from some of the screenshots, I take it custom decals are a thing in X4?

So had a good chuckle, since two days after I buy it full price, Assassin Creed 2 is on 66% off. But it's all good, been having enough fun so no buyers regret.
Today it was wrapping up some assassinations, looting all the treasures and meeting Caterina for the first time. And like, girl, what are you doing out there and why are you acting like you are about to die when it's only about ten breaststrokes to the nearest land? And is that little bout with the boat going to become a thing? Because I'm rubbish at it. Anyways. Didn't play much but had a grand time. Archers, not so much. But those are my roofs now, ya hear me?!

So amongst other things I did this quest today where I helped a girl get some gems and did what i thought was the 'right' thing: So yeah, as it turns out - I CAN and bloody well WILL go back and break her heart: Even if it means reloading a save from 20 minutes ago and replaying t again, including redoing this fun quest: There's no way I am sticking with the alternative from this: My Kassandra has two rules: 1: Always get paid on a contract (unless it's an old friend) 2: No children will be sad, like she was. 3: If you fuck her over, you will get fucked over.

Watched some Star Citizen. I'm waiting for the beta before I reinstall the game again. Anyway, watched the streamer and some players (some were viewers from chat) went out in the Hammerhead to take down a drug outpost. Along the way, there was some glitch and they stalled. They were boarded by an enemy player and didn't realise it so the pilot and some crew manning the turrets were shot. The streamer tried to take out the intruder and was shot down. He respawned and took out a fighter back to the Hammerhead. His team players in their own ships told him there was still fighting onboard. By the time he arrived, he found the intruder in his own ship firing on the Hammerhead (light patrol ship class, has six turrets and carries 32 missiles. Max crew of 9). He boarded the intruder's ship with a team player, didn't see anybody and decided to set self destruct. The intruder came in this point, a gun fire exchange and he retreated. In the meantime, the self destruct was set. At 30 secs. The streamer scrambled to get out but couldn't make it. Boom! He retrieved the Hammerhead and returned to the original target. When they arrived, a battle broke out. It was Hammerhead vs fighters and another Hammerhead. The enemy Hammerhead launched most of its missiles, perhaps 10 or more. The streamer and his team were taken out. It was an interesting insight of a patrol ship battle.

Fallout4 back to working again. Did the end game quest for BoS. Jen hunted down Danse when he left BoS after learning he was a synth. She was conflicted on what to do with him, but let him go only to be confronted by Maxson. After a lengthy discussion Maxson let Danse go. Got orders to destroy the Railroad which Jen did gleefully. Then we destroyed the Institute. I really don't want to do this, Danse. Crazy Jen is actually having a moment of conflicted emotions. How's it going Deacon? Guess what I'm going to do with you and the other leadership's corpses? Yes, kill those Red Chinese vermin! The Institute is evil, son. It must be destroyed along with all of these abominations you created. In a way I wished you had died when your father did. This is the end. Sure is a long way down. What's dead is dead.

1: You were being an asshole 2: I really, really dislike his voice acting. Kassandra is just far superior; this scene just underscores it
Look at the size of it (and that draw distance)! Now that feels like a city - well impressed.
I am glad its not just me that thinks that about Alexios's VA, I find his delivery a bit off, a bit over acted and there is an unevenness to his delivery. There are instances where kass's lip synch is a bit off but for Alexios its seems much worse and I find it really off putting and that's just been from the cut scenes with him as Deimos.

No playing yesterday because Game Awards and Dread Wolf hysteria....
Day before, I finished the second mission in Deus Ex and got routed to the third, then side-tracked once there because another hostage situation. I'm a bit disappointed so far - was expecting something a bit more futuristic and less....eh, police-y, let's say. I guess I thought the PC would just be some guy in the world doing his thing, not a member of an official govt force no better equipped than Joe Schmoe off the street. Seriously, why can't I buy ammo, or weapons, or anything? Needing to bust open crates for supplies is silly - like a damn Spectre having to buy her own weapons. More STG, less Alliance cheapskates, please.

Fallout 4 started a new game. Installed some mods that I wanted to try on a new game. Have the War Veteran Female Sole Survivor mod. Only makes sense considering a lawyer isn't going to know how to use power armor, is proficient in numerous weapons and skills, is cool and collected in a fire fight, etc. I am currently back at Sanctuary Hills after finding Garvey and the annoying bunch. Currently setting up base. Lets sit back and relax. It looks like it'll be a lovely day. Yes, the park. So I can get knocked up again. F*ck this place. WTF happened??

AnDromedary Duuuude, I JUST bought NMS on sale last night!!! Then I come here and see you've posted about it. So, Subnautica is still better? Hmmmm. I got NMS basically for the base building, hehehe. Well, and co-op. Did you try co-op?
Do you happen to know if other players can still fuck up your base? Delete stuff and terraform grief it? I didn't see any patch notes for making planets and bases protected. But in the settings there's something about restricting editing to friends. So did they fix it after all? I'm confused.
I don't know if I want to upload bases when anybody can just destroy them. So I thought I'll just do MP exploration in co-op and build in Creative Mode on a new savefile... it would be a pity though since I very much would love to let others visit my bases. It's the thing I wish FO76 let you do but your camp is not persistent there so I have zero interest in that game right now until they give us private servers.
As for what I did: I felt the FO4 settlement itch again, naturally! I lay in bed a couple of days ago unable to sleep because I was getting all excited again... I'm finally finishing Hangman's Alley which I started building ages ago but abandoned due to lack of inspiration regarding its flair. The basic layout was done already, I mostly just needed to add clutter. Replaced a few walls with new ones from mods I've added since. Nevertheless, just adding a bit of clutter and dressing 28 handpicked scarred and dirty settlers in ratty outfits has taken 10 hours...
I've still got a list of minor additions I need to work on and I have yet to assign the settlers stuff to do. So I predict another 5 hours at least before it's done.
This place is going to be my first depressing settlement for drifters no other community wants. Orphans, escaped slaves, ex-raiders, other criminals, scavers. People passing through. Hangman's accepts anybody who can pay for a bed with caps or loot. The place is littered with empty beer bottles, tin cans and moldy food.
The vanilla building you can't scrap will be turned into a one woman brothel. Need to find a good outfit for the prostitute. Not sure I have one...
The settlement has a cage for people who cause trouble. And I roleplay that when they kill somebody and can't buy themselves free, they get hanged or sold to slavers. This is how some kind of order is kept there. It's a wretched place but it's protected by turrets and guards and safer than being out there on your own at night. This settlement runs on chems, sex and pawning whatever people bring. Those who stay are jet addicts who got stuck in debt and forever paying off the money they owe the former raider who runs the show.

I just started playing my very first Assassins Creed game, Syndicate. Love Victorian London so I thought it's a good start, since the other alternative (Florence of teh Medici, don't know, how that AC game is called) wasn't available at the shop, I was in. It's quite a challenge, when you normally play rpgs or adventures. The roof hopping makes me a bit sick sometimes. In which point of the game can you decide if you want to play as Evie or Jacob? Because so far in the scenes with both, I can only play Jacob and I want to play Evie.I arrived at the shop of that Green guy. And yeah, carriage riding is worse than the Mako

It's Assassin's Creed 2 Frankly, one of my favourite games on the PS3. It even have two sequels. If you end up liking AC, you may be better buyng the Ezio trilogy. Frankly, those where my last AC, because I didn't like any of the historical periods until Unity, but I didn't play it because of how uninteresting it felt to me as characters go. I may buy Syndate one of these days, tho. Victorian London is quite fashinating for me.
By the way, I'm still on Trails in the sky, and I'm loving the "down to earth" journey for now.
