"I can't believe the soldiers carried so many explosive potions"... says Monsieur De Sardet while sporting over a 150 traps, 450 bullets and close to 200 different potions in his little bag.
And I just realized I am in full Inquisitor gear...No, I don't like DAI that much...it just...happened...
Little advice - carry at least 3 sleeping potions at all times. Also check vendors and the crafting table if there are quest items to be crafted (even if you have no idea how to use them yet) and buy/make a few. Just had a quest where we had to run to a cave, just to be informed that "oh, we need to craft some stuff". Well, joke was on you, sister! I already had the stuff and will not be making the trip back to the village just because you are so absent minded! But then my meta preparation maybe surprised the game and bugged some of the things I was supposed to click in the cave. Nothing that a quick going through a door once and back couldn't fix though (doors are mini loading screens and help reset rooms).

Greedfall Hit 14 after defeating a forest lord. Had a time with this one because Kurt glitched out so poor Vasco was the only one harrying it. Had to keep healing him. After some time, decided to reload and made sure Kurt was there. He still glitched sometimes, caught at the trees but with his input, was able to bring down the critter. Found a shortcut the protag can't used because no vigor. Just as well there'sa long way round else I'll be pissed to have to come back later for the skill altar.

It's near Ullnor the head of the tribe you do the peace treaty quest fors village. I fought one of those tree lords early on with Siora and Kurt and yeah it was one of the only battles I had to really think about. Have you fought the Swamp Lord with the tentacles on its head or the creature that burrows under the ground at the ruins that you have to navigate the mines to get to? That burrowing thing was a pain.

If you cannot craft it, it can be bought off a merchant or you could get it randomly from one of the loot crates. I got three or more I think. One is all white, one lives in a swamp (it's female), one is called a forest lord because of the horn I got from it. The last was a toughy because he has a aoe poison blast zone. Can't remember the rest. The latest is a beastie that can burrow. It appear in Vasco's quest though. I just got to the third city. The inquisitor is a FU SOB. Luckily I got charisma up to three so I evaded his bloody question. I look forward to meeting him another time and hang him up on a pole. Preferably, I like to leave him to the natives' justice. When I met the faction leader, I was at what she said. Religious nuts all.

There is one skill alter that I just cannot get o that I assume is due to vigor because there is one of those cracks but I cannot find any other way to it. It's near Ullnor the head of the tribe you do the peace treaty quest fors village. The stat check areas usually tell you what you need to pass them. It's above the player's head when you are near the challenge, or De Sardet makes a comment. If you need Vigor you will hear "I need to exercise more" A corridor that looks like a crack in the wall needs 2 Intuition to squeeze in. A crack in the path that you need to jump over needs 2 Vigor. High walls are climbed with 3 Vigor. A cracked wall needs 1 Science (not sure you need some type of potion, since it always worked for me) to blow up.

Sometimes the text above the head is not visible enough because your camera is too near to your character and disappears when you move back from the stat check area.
I don't think there is such a page in the game with statistics for everything. Pressing P brings your character stats, pressing B is the skill/talent/attribute shortcut.

Just hoped I was being blind and that there was a consolidated stat sheet somewhere.

So lets see here...
Utah: Continuing to do quests for the Native Tribes down Zion canyon. Continuing to engage in sniper missions against the White Legs. Nothing too dramatic has happened. I followed them to one of their camps where I got into a bit of an extended sniper shoot out with them. The main attraction though was I triggered a quest called 'river monsters' while searching for more White Tails to kill, by clearing out a group of Yuoag gui? spelling? Anyways I was taking them down with my hunting rifle where I claimed to my wife that they were actually very easy to kill...I would end up eating my words as two giant bear speciemens instantly attacked at one of the Ranger Stations. My fifty cal didn't doo too much, I jumped away from them...and fell down...as I was aiming they jumped AFTER me and then I fell back...to my death.
In Madden...yes Madden: I was home sick from work so I decided to 'update' the Pats roster considering I might do another Franchise run soon. Played another sries of games...7 in total...and won them all.

Greedfall Hit level 12, opening up more areas. At the moment, just pursuing a singular quest. I wish devs would learn one universal rule; if there're going to be big zones with loot scattered all over, allow players to place custom beacons. Divinity Original Sins 2 have this feature, allowing the player to place a flag and note down what it is they'll come back to later. I'm finding chests requiring LP 2 and 3 and unable to open them because the protag does not have LP. Also finding locations that are obviously sealed off for later events, maybe? It's bloody unlikely I can recall every location. I’m suffering with it right now. I need two notes to complete the professor’s footsteps, but I’ve already explored all maps. I wish I could visit early check points to see if I missed them there. I wanted to get all those collectobles on my own at least once in my life without the need of guides. This is all too true. I doubt I'll be able to get all the notes.

You found more than me, I have 3 left (but I am not really looking. Never completed a single mosaic in DAI). So far I found all of them near boss encounters, so I guess if there was a boss fight without a note near, then that's where you should look. Some of them were pretty well placed "in plain sight", but hidden still. One was right at the starting corridor point of an area, just a bit to the left and if you did a few steps forward and turn the camera after, it's glow is hidden behind bushes and you might miss it. But I honestly can't recall the spots for any of those.

I found some of their quest makers to be incorrect. Take inquisitor forgot-his-name'f office. I checked the map and the marker was where a blank wall stood. Right now I'm doing a battlefield. I'm presuming the marker is referring to the entire battlefield, not a spot because there's nothing there when I went to it.

If a marker is with a magnifying glass, then it's for the surrounding area, which in the case of the battlefield, is a big one.

Greedfall So I had two conversations. One with Kurt and the other with Vasco. I bravely attempted the line with the heart with Kurt. So nice of the devs to paint it that it's a romance question. I went for the kid question. Nothing strange about the answer. Pretty matter of fact. Vasco's question have no heart indicator but some of the responses that can be chosen are pretty straight up clear sign of romantic interest. I chose the middle path that's neither here nor there. I have to say I like the run animation. It's neat and practical. No wild exaggerated movement of shoulders, arms and legs, no ridiculous sashay of hips. I'd say it's a realistic runner's gait.

So Bolivia: I am (at least for the moment) in the Sniper groove. Granted I am just in Ituaca right now so its not too big of a challenge, but it is still helpful. Blew up a convoy, took two of the supply helicopters from them, found a bunch of skill points and some more attachments for my ARs. Also did two story missions. I think. Hunting through the ruins of Culta with my sniper and the synch shots of the team. there was a straight up rock with a smooth top just outside the village, the perfect sniper spot and I was able to get the jump on them without being detected. I was a bit on the aggressive side but it worked out, sniping multiple people between synch shots, clearing out the sicarios on the perimeter before moving in to rescue and talk to the prisoner who had info on where El Yuri and La Poita was...no that's the other way around. Only on one of the bad guys did I have trouble with missing with my first two shots but then I settled down, lined up the shot, and took him out before he could raise the alarm. The second base I did I got spotted while doing the sniping but that sent a bunch of them walking in one direction, four of them, I waited, with a synch shot, then took them all out. Also got a helicopter pilot instead of letting 'Weaver' take him out.

Fallout 4. Ventured to hell to find Virgil. It was an interesting visit through ground zero of a nuclear detonation. Lots of mutates to kill, very few things to l00t. Found a lot of ghouls holed up in the remains of a church, which shouldn't exist, a wooden structure at ground zero of a nuclear bomb. Any how, put those zombies out of their misery. Found some Children of the Atom zealots, thought about giving them a dirt nap, but I may have a use for them later, trading. Found Virigil, such a whiny little sh!t. Now off to find a courser. Good zombies are dead zombies. Hell, minus the nasty weather effects.

So ZIon Valley: I made a terrible mistake...but I don't care...and its not my fault. Wrapped up 'Gentle Hearts' and the story of the tribes. Sided with Joshua and encouraged them to fight and defeat the White Legs. Reasoning was given all that was going on I think they would have just pursued them even if they fled so the best results was to stand and fight. What followed was a rather eerie sequence of me going with Joshua Graham as we fought through waves of the White Legs through the valley. And eventually ran into some of the Sorrows and Dead Horse's killing the White Legs apparently execution style. Which is whatever. Then at the end bumped into Graham who had the leader of the White Legs, Salts the Wounds, on his knees...he said he was crazy...and I tried for some reason to give him an honorable death...which did not go well for me or joshua. So then I reloaded and did it execution style, much more in character honestly. In the end though my actions led to Walking Cloud becoming bitter and embittering the sorrows against Daniel and the Sorrows becoming a lot more mean and warlike even fighting with the Dead Horse's. So yeah. But now I am wearing Daniel's hat and Joshua's clothes, which looks rather good on me.

Finished off The Wraiths of Quiet Hamlet. This was a pretty good one, despite no VAs, but I got stuck at one point and needed a clue what to do next since the person I needed to talk to wasn't really an obvious candidate, at least not to me. You get a choice at the end of how to deal with the wraith problem. I of course took the goody goody route.
Moving on to the next one, called The Wedding. It starts off with Geralt flat on his back in a tavern with Dandelion and a few others hovering over him. He comes to and Dandelion pops the big surprise that he (Geralt) is getting married and he better go mingle asap. That's as far as I got, as it appears talking to everyone present will take some time. I have a feeling Geralt will wake up at the end vowing to never drink that swill again. But, will see what happens.

Greedfall So there's a lot of going back and forth, I managed to kill two birds with one stone in visiting the former gov but then I had to go back to her for a third time, that I wish the devs would put a travel globe in the gov's building. grrrr Jolly glad I whopped Malliard's ass, closed down the mine and freed the natives. De Sadet said she arrested him though. Whatever, that AH's not setting foot on the island again. I'm mostly leaving any entrances to anywhere alone after exploring a mine that I couldn't get very far into. The present quest I'm doing now opens it up so I think it's a waste of time trying those other entrances until a quest indicated that's the place to go. I seriously think I'm not going all the camps, nor all the notes nor find the professor. I picked up a few missions that do not have any map indicator so I think I won't be able to complete them either. It's going to be luck of the draw whether I'll run into those targets. Progress is cautious as I'm unsure how fast I should be going with the main quests; seeking a cure for malichor and researching ancient ruins, that I could possibly miss out secondary quests. Protag is now level 19. Picked up a purple piece of armour that can't be equipped because endurance. It's brown in colour. Dang, I like De Sadet in her black armour at the moment.

"So there's a lot of going back and forth" when I said that in the Greedfall thread I got slapped down!!!! Glad it's not just me and AnDromedary that thinks that, maybe its after playing ACOD for some reason. I very early on decided the camps and other collectibles were just not going to be on my agenda and that's very unusual for me. I also had this great armour, full set looked magnificent and then got a really good purple piece and yeah dead boring brown!!!! I am finding choosing what to do next really non-intuitive. Even guides aren't very helpful. Have just decided I'll do all the side missions until it forces me to push the main missions.

As for armor - I think the higher Endurance ones just slightly improve your Armor and Balance, but not by amazingly much between each END point. Having played on Extreme, the best strategy is still "not get hit", in which case armor matters little. You can finish the game easily without a single Endurance point, so just wear whatever you like.

Well I had fun today fixing bells and finding a stone and an old blind bloke and then putting a seed in a bowl that kinda sounds bad, glad I didn't say my seed in a bowl!!!!! Finally worked "Parry" out its because it is too ridiculously easy!!!!!

In fact my explorer nature and Lockpicking helped me bypass quest steps on several occasions. Parry works exactly like in ACOD. How can you have any trouble with it? You can't perma hold it, but there are barely any attacks that can't be parried.
