WOW that must be weird going backwards like that, the controls would be a real challenge!!!!! I must pick the remastered AC3 up, for a game I loved and played several times I found the controls really frustrating. I am more keen to play ACOD again though. Are you going to play AC Rogue after AC3? I quite enjoyed it and it fits in nicely after AC3 and you get to see the games from the Templar side of things. Nice pic's too.

So finished Orzamar and installed Harrowmont as king, discovered Shales heritage, found proof for Orta, helped set up a chantry, lied about Ruck and helped Caradin. Time to change the team up and can get rid of Oghren and Shale for now thank the gods!!!! Next to Redcliffe. Pic's Mmmm Hespeth needs some make-up lessons. Graphics went wonky on the Brood Mother fight, I hate that battle normally but it was a dawdle. Didn't worry about the tentacles and just wailed on her with three melee characters and she was dead in no time at all. Branka needs to some Psych help but none was available so just killed her instead!!!! Caradin made a nice hat for Harrowmont Harrowmont shows off his new hat

Of course that also depends on the players class because sometimes I ditch having a rogue with me in favour of an extra warrior. But I do generally bring Wynne with me if I'm not a mage myself because her healing spells are just too valuable in this quest.

Agent A a puzzle in disguise. Got it because my head got obsessed over it being a story about the boss lady in agent of mayhem. It was not and the lady that fooled me was the villain. Still was very satisfied.
A very cute point'n'clicker puzzler. Lots of memorization, some patterns and other fiddling around. Story is nice enough and there are three fun animals to encounter, which is always neat. Looks really good too. Was kinda missing a custom cursor, but it didn't bother me too much in the end.
Played it through twice, second time for the speed runner achivo.
Only complaint is that there is a lot of backtracking and a lot of the rooms give you an item A, to unlock a box in another room which only carries the item B which unlocks a container in the room where item A was. It does pad out the game and isn't constantly obvious the first run, but you feel it if you plan to speed run the game.
But it was really fun none the less. Not much moon logic going on but more memorization (or a good old pen and paper), observation and a bit of trial and error.
May or may not also have spent more time than planned in My time at Portia after reading the thread. Just one more day. Just one more day.

Spent more time on the baron quest and fast-traveling to various gwent opponents. Beat the baron, some innkeeps and traders, and that cardshark kid Maddy. Finally getting some decent cards back in my deck but still limited to Northern Realms for now.
Found Princess the goat for the pellar. Cleared out the area, including the bear, before I "found" her so I didn't have to worry about her becoming lunch for a hungry beastie. Geralt commented about that foresight being a good thing.
Made a quick trip to Oxenfurt to make sure Tamara was ok and stopped in at the barber while in town. Got rid of the default flop mop in favor of the ponytail with shaved sides (same as my previous game).
Current contract is Jenny O' the Woods. Took care of the Shrieker earlier.

I just got my future wife with me in Lexington (oh my how I love the villages and views in this game)! I dunno if I'll play rogue or AC4, they didnt quite catch my playing eye so to say, compared to 3. Maybe. Maybe...

LOL re falling from the church, it was those damn big trees that are like a maze to climb that I fell out of all the time!!!!! AC3 was the first AC game I played and the reason I chose it was for the setting and the Native American PC. I loved just roaming around and hunting as much as anything else and those wilderness forts were so much fun to take down in stealth. I'd definitely recommend playing Rogue remastered at least after AC3 as it will all be familiar in terms of controls (I think) and quests etc. AC4 Black Flag is my favourite AC game and I played over 1,000 hours I think and topped the ship sinking and the number of kills for my region!!!!! I used to just play it for hours just for the fun of pirating and hunting and exploring and Edward is my favourite AC PC other than Kassandra. I thoroughly recommend it, great NPC's as well. You get to be friends with Blackbeard!!!

Swtor Played the sith warrior and got her up to 60. Moving to Quesh. Although the garphics are a little dated, it's still great. More so the animations in the cutscenes. I like it when a NPC's body gave a little start of fear when the sith warrior threatened him. It's very fast, hardly a second but the reaction was immediate the moment she said it. What I don't like in "public dialogues" when getting / turning in quests, the area is not player private, is other players inconsiderately inserted themselves into the cutscene. It's disrupting when the NPC is mushed up with another player avatar so their armour half hid the NPC's head, etc. It's so annoying that I generally cut the dialogue and wait for the player to finish and leave. I try not to do this to the others; approaching cautiously at an angle until I can click on the NPC.

Fallout4 Built my rather large storage facility at the Red Rocket. Now just need to populate it with neat things. Finally got around to adventuring. Got the locket back from raiders which made the Abernathy's rather happy and they joined the Minute Men. Took out the raiders at the Corvega factory, which made some far away settlers happy. They joined the MM. Made it to Diamond City and picked up Piper. Went to the Cambridge Police Dept and helped out the BoS with the ghouls, which in turn I helped Danse go get some tech that was needed for their long range radio. Playing a game, within a game. There's no rush to do anything right now. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the view. I have this weird sensation that Piper is looking at me. Well, I am using the Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer, with my character set to curvy.

Milwaukee Junction Factory. Jensen killed all the baddies (Purists who wanted to prove augments were Evil!...except they were the one killing defenceless workers), saved all the hostages (well those who could be saved) and was called a hero by all. Well all but Prickchard. Jensen is pretty good at headshots with the pistol, baddies had no chances. Once back at the office, Jensen was eavesdropping on his coworkers and learned a few things: - someone is stealing supplies and everyone has their ideas who did it. - some people think the Purists were manipulated and it has to do with the attack 6 months ago. - but it was mostly gossips not worth mentioning. After talking to his boss, Jensen meet another coworker in his office who is in a bit of a bind: he stole neuropozyne (rare med) with another coworker and he is now getting blackmailed to stick to it when he wants out. Jensen accepted to get the footage compromising him back, but who knows how this will turn out. Also, everyone is doing overtime at that place while not actually doing anything at work as nobody are in their offices. No wonder Sariff industry is hemorrhaging money. Next: visiting a morgue, in a police station...in a not very legal fashion. No baddies to kill there. ---- My Time at Portia The pace of the game seems slower than Stardew Valley and more focused on building stuff over growing stuff. I might restart once I think I got a good understand of the gameplay though.

Spent the day trying to do a triple crown solo run in Pillars of Eternity. It went badly as expected and never even ventured into the walls of Caed Nua. Worst bit was the run when I had managed to scrounge up 5000 gold to buy a summoning figurine, then went to try it out in the bear cave. They cut through the summon like butter, then murdered my poor mook before he could summon reinforcements. So that sucked. But on the brightside I had fun cooking up his backstory. So got that at least.

Yeah. Probably my favorite DLC for SotTR, actually, as it explores just what kind of state her mind might be, and what her fears are. And that they're definitely a step away from becoming reality sometimes.
Especially the... mysterious character. That REALLY says something about her.

So yesterday in DAO headed to Redcliff with Sten (to get his sword), Alistair and Morrigan. Where can you change your party in Redcliff or do I have to return to camp so I can drop Sten? Anyway basically did all the little tasks to get red for the night of the running dead. Chatted up Bella and got a kiss from Kaitlyn for finding her brother and let him keep the sword, was worth the -3 reputation with Morrigan and didn't eat the cheese at the Tavern. Got Berwick, the barkeep and Dwynn to fight with the militia and got the holy tokens for Ser Perth. Pic's Alistair confesses his past, after you your highness!!! Met Bann Teagan, looking forward to him dancing later Chatting with Bella Not sure the brother was impressed re the kiss, neither was Morrigan

Yeah... It's a miracle she took so long to snap.
But what I mean is... when the "mysterious character" - ok, the dark side of her mind - calls her "little cancer, little death" and tells her that all her friends are dead or doomed and she knows it.
[/div] I take this as her facing her greatest fear. And there's that little voice in the back of her mind telling her this. It's the one thing she fears the most, I would say. Losing her friends. That she is the reason the ones who died are dead. That she will be the reason those who yet live will die.
I think Rise is better - partially because of the plot holes that Shadow seems to have introduced - but this one really puts a lot of pressure on her by essentially making her responsible for "many catastrophes" and countless deaths.
[/div]
That scene in the refinery, where she snaps?
Yeah, this? See the blank stare? She fucking SNAPPED like a twig right there. She stabs a man to death in this scene and her face shows ABSOLUTELY NO EMOTION. She continues to show absolutely nothing right up until she sees Jonah. At which point she just breaks down crying.
Yeah. This one... She is a woman of extreme mental resilience to have taken this long to snap like this.

dazk Isn't there a little people icon at the top of the screen? Like three little blokes next to the setting wheels? If it isn't grayed out you should be able to click it and switch out people. Think you should be able to do it while outside in the village, that is not inside a building. If you can't I'm pretty sure it's safe to visit camp, if you just go straight to the village after. Probably best to make a save before you try it though. Or you could listen to Sten and Morrigan and leave them to fend on their own. They'll be fine

Sten is just always so antagonistic in his comments it annoys me, I like Morrigan the shrew though, she is my favourite romance for my male Couslands. Re combat I have stopped worrying about them, except for Morrigan for her AoE spells and the occasional heal.

Yeah. Probably my favorite DLC for SotTR, actually, as it explores just what kind of state her mind might be, and what her fears are. And that they're definitely a step away from becoming reality sometimes. Especially the... mysterious character. That REALLY says something about her. Yeah it certainly sounds an intreesting DLC it's one of the ones I'm looking forward t oplaying most when I eventually do get back in. But then I'm kind of looking forward to just playing the whole game again. I'll get there I'm just no tsure when right now. Maybe after I've finished with my first run of Code Vein. As I'm planning on playing CV and Everreac hProject Eden once I'm finished my DAI run. Unfortunately I'm still somewhere in the middle of tha tas I'm only level 15 with my current quizzy so it'll be a while yet.

Let's be honest here; from the moment her ship broke up in TR2013, this incarnation of Lara has been one bad day away from burning the whole world down. She's still great, though.
Yeah but I must admit I like the gfac tthat in theend sh edoes show her emotions tin this trilogy in all the previous games that I've seen and played she barely shows any at all she's almost like a robot. Either way I must admit Camilla did a great job with her portrayal. She made Lara into a good fun and interesting protagonist to play in this trliogy

Just started DA: Origins, with the intention of playing through the series again and hopefully being done at some point in 2022 in preparation for the fourth game. Went Dalish basically because I'm planning on playing a human in Inquisition and a dwarf in 4, and my narrative OCD demands elf representation in there somewhere. I really do like the origin though. In all the others, Duncan rescuing/conscripting you is mostly a good thing, pulling you out of a sticky situation and/or a dangerous or unworthy environment. But as a Dalish Elf you're completely surrounded by friends and family who are getting by and love and want nothing but the best for you, and you're forced to say goodbye and leave them for the greater good, and because someone you may not trust says that there might be something wrong with you. The farewell sequence reads like a community coming together to see a favored child go off to war, and it's an absolute gutpunch on top of the funeral of your best friend/crush whose hotheaded tendencies you failed to rein in. I absolutely get why the canon Ultimate Sacrifice playthrough is a Dalish. The daily existence of a Grey Warden doesn't have anything that obviously recommends itself to one of the People. Of all the origins they're the most likely to feel like they've lost all hope for a "proper" life and their connection to the world they grew up in, and don't really have much to lose by accepting death as their duty. Ostagar is also an especially surreal experience, not knowing how any of all these shemlen warriors gathered in one place are going to treat a lone hunter with Duncan's badge of approval as her only protection, and no idea how far that extends. Cailan is a ridiculous spectacle, of course, but still encouragingly respectful and welcoming. Alistair is annoyingly flippant and can be pretty insensitive, but is also obviously harmless. But everyone else is offensively dismissive, and the flat ears working at the camp and running messages look at you either like an exotic animal or a myth come to life. It's disconcerting.
