TERA I nabbed a couple more levels, finished one main storyline and started another, got the game to crash a few more times and met Morrigan I mean Elf Commander Fraya. I swear, one word was enough for me to recognise Clauda Black. And I met Commander Bailey before as well! ...Though I had to kill him.Somewhere between one quest and another I checked Global Trade Station and got last Pokemon I needed, so... after a couple of weeks I finished Pokemon Ultra Sun's Pokedex, pretty much only by trading. Oh! And I finally figured out how to switch off UI. More or less. Now I can feed my screenshots addiction!

I sometimes have that too, I'm like "I'm certain it's [insert voice actor here]" and then I look it up and I'm like..."wait, what?"
It's the problem when various characters in a game share the same VA, like...Dagna and Bianca being voiced by Laura Bailey then again, I'd no idea Krem was voiced by Jennifer Hale until the credits rolled by
Though I love it when I play a new game and hear a VA I already know, but as you say...sometimes it can get rather confusing
Wish Jennifer Hale is in a new game project I'm looking forward to. Miss her voice. Of course I can play MET again but I'm rather burn out on it and hasn't recovered. Still. It has everything to do with the MET ending which isn't a cheery thought to entertain when contemplating re-runs. I really think I heard her voice in the Star Wars Squadrons gameplay trailer (at 1:47 "Stick together"). It's not on her IMDB page, so I can't be sure but it did sound like her to me.
Would be cool to hear her on comms in a space game again. After all, she did start out as Jun'ko Zane in Freelancer.
On a similar note, I am on and off playing the Starcraft 2 campaign again and whenever Raynor talks to Doctor Ariel Hanson I kinda wonder why she doesn't have blue skin and tentacle hair.

Tropico 6 I discovered how to deal with the Cold War. It just needed a little thing called tourism. Makes money super fast. Kinda cause citizens to lose all their fun spots because they are invaded by tourists thought. Now that I have a functioning economy, I'm advancing the Red State requirements. Which include: - destroying all religious buildings... - destroying all rich housing... where will they live?- destroy all banks... where will I put my money?- building some newspaper to brainwash peopleIt's kinda weird and my country is already majorly communist. I'm really not sure where I'm going with this.

In City Skylines: So in the amusing story category...although in this case more 'ha ha' rather then ... my little efforts to build a second city across the river from the first one got really interesting. Part of the 'other city's' highway cuts through my land there so in an effort to attract more people to the new little commercial and residential areas that I was building. And well on the other side of that to the north I decided to stick another incineration plant to service its power needs and get rid of its trash. What I did not realize was the two branches of the highway...one going one way and another going another...weren't actually connected. So my trash trucks basically have to go all the way around to the first little connection of the city before actuall servicing the area they are supposed to be servicing. So my only solution was to quite painfully demolish 'someone else's highway' and then connect the through street. I did and managed to rebuild one connection in quite a mess but the other branch remains unconnected. Oops. My eventual plan is to buy the next area over hopefully and then connect it over there all over again...somehow. Also my little hotel industry I had going crashed and burned...so I demolished them and put in a park...the same one which is just right next to it in the first place. Otherwords getting the infrastructure set up in general has been a real frustrating experience. I thought I had a good grasp on how power worked...but I guess not. So I had to figure it out plus messed up on the water pipes at first, but on the bright side I do think I got some tips on ow to do power lines finally. And I got my first city University up and running. Still need to figure out how to do some of the travel routes and stuff but other that that this city is coming along.

I found a "dark beast" in Tropico 6. It's called the Cold War. Where I only got into debts. Lots of it. Like a sinking ship. My "popularity" also sank, to lowly 30% for some reasons (my satisfaction ratings where not that bad). I restarted twice that mission map and it happened both times. Reading online, it seems like it is a normal occurrence. The funniest part, the goal of that mission map is to become super communists. Which mean free lodging, free food, etc. I'm never going to be able to afford all that if I can't even make money!!! I'm going to have to rethink my sources of revenues. Rum and cigars either don't cut it once you reach the Cold War era or I'm not making enough of them. Ha! I am at the exact same spot. Last night I saved the game just after reaching the Cold War stage of that map. I also had to resort to Rum and Cigars. My effort to get a food industry running proved... "fruitless". My gold mines seem worthless as well. In theory my weapon factory should have been a money maker, but it seems I can't get the logistics properly for steel and nickel. Maybe I'll try to make a second Steel factory and another weapons one. The Canned foods are doing sort of ok. I got loads of options in my Groceries. I think I managed to clear my huge 60k debt thanks mostly to selling Logs, Planks and Boats. I think I will try to upgrade my Coal, Nickel and Iron mines and focus on industrial goods. I might scrap the Gold mines, because they are slow and seem to make little money. I seem to have an issue with logistics. I build bus stops, garages and yet people still take forever to get back to their working places. Even housing near them has little effect.

Playing a little Hardspace Shipbreaker. Nice little early acccess game so far. Played it for about 6 hours. Unfortunately it's now running out of content but the actual gameplay is really cool. You are a dude who sold their soul to a company to get them off Earth. For them to get you up the gravity well you now owe them 1 billion dollars and you have to work for them to repay your debt. You do this by breaking down ships in zero g and salvage usable parts to a barge, send carbon materials into a processor and metal into a furnace. To do this, you have a tractor-beam-grapple gun that can also shoot tethers and a laser cutter. But you got to be careful what you cut because the inside of the ship may still be pressurized and explosive decompression destroys equipment (and possibly you). You also don't want to hit fuel tanks and such, which means a) you can't get the money for salvaging them and b ) you may take damage to your equipment and health. Repairing your equipment, getting oxygen or fuel for your suit, getting more tethers and all that stuff costs money and you need to break even at the end of your shift. Speaking of shifts, you play this game in 15 minute shifts and you want to complete a couple of work-orders in order to get company tokens with which you can upgrade your suit and tools (bigger oxygen and fuel tanks, longer range for the laser cutter, better scanner, etc.). Now, this sounds stressful but at least for now, it's not really. in zero g, everything goes rather slow as you control just thrust on your suit (think Adrift or EVA in Star Citizen). So in the end, I'd call it a physics puzzler with almost some meditative qualities. My main criticism so far is that the ships so far are very small, simple and similar in their design. They are technically procedurally generated but all that means is that some details are placed a bit differently but the main setup is always the same, you end up always cutting the same plates off first, get between the inner and outer hull and cut there until plates drift away and can be processed. There is just not enough variety and challenge after the first couple of ships. But it's early access and hopefully we'll see more in the future. All in all, it's a pretty neat concept for a game. I hope we'll see this grow a bit. Definitely a cool experience in it's current limited form already. I like it too. Nice for a short session of cutting.

Detroit Become Human Several questions came up along with an option and I was asking myself; erm, what do androids feel when they do this? Is it the same? They don't eat, drink nor need sleep. So... whatever. I just chose that option because it's sealing a bond between two and those two definitely go together. Got the good ending for all. It's kind of cute when the menu android asks the player questions at certain points of the game and a final one at the end when the game concluded and player returned to the main menu. All chapters can be reloaded and play again once they're completed. If the player does not want the decisions of the replay to be saved into the PT, they have that option. On the QTEs. It's nothing difficult most of the time except when quick actions are needed. Usually in fights. I quickly figure out that I need not wait for the cue since it's often pressing D and S. I just hit the keys without stopping until the action sequence is over. So, despite having watch the entire game play over Twitch two years ago, I have fun playing it myself. I think this is one of David Cage's best piece of work. Now on to the other two.

Been watchin Brian Deckhart's playthrough of the game over the last fwe days and that's been interesting as well. Srtange thing is his Kara and Alice died the same way mine did trying to escape Jericho. For those who don' t know Brian Deckhart is the actor who played Connor in the game. Did a good job I think. I've only done 1 so fa rbut I d oplan on going back in and doing more. Especially as I'd like to see the androids survive and outside of Connor and North none of the others did during my first playthrough.

I build bus stops, garages and yet people still take forever to get back to their working places. Even housing near them has little effect. Garages: the toon will drive to work, but walk back home unless there is another garage near the workplace. Also, without "free car" edict, only well-off+ people will use them. Bus stops are hit or misses from my experience. The best are metro stations, which unlock in the Cold war era. If you want people to stay near their workplace, you need to put everything there: food, church, clinic, fun and housing. Otherwise they will go to those other far away places. Also, have enough teamsters to move everything around (if things stay in the storage of factories/plantation/ranch/mines you don't have enough). I usually put one down near the mines and factories. As for gold mines, make a jewelry factory.

A few pathetic pokes at Subnautica which all ended in a no, nope, no way, heck no I'm outta here. So that was a mood. But did see a new type of fish this round. It was terrifying.
Fire Emblem Three Houses. So got Daniel to the start of the Silver Snow route. Grabbed Hilda, Annette and Sylvain before the time skip, since they were in the memory the biggest pains in the bottom. And not because of fangirling, no sirree. Aint got Felix for the first time ever, so that will be a headache and a half.
The final battle of the White Clouds section was a pain and a half. But once more, just taking it slow and playing semi defensive won the day. Also ballistas, they helped a lot. Finally started to realize how awesome the dancer class is. Decided to try and use it this time with Dorothea and oh my it's a game changer. Being able to give Lysithea the destroyer of horses an extra move each round is just, chef kiss worthy. Petra on a Wyvern is also kinda nice, but also kinda awful if there are archers about, so not sure how to feel about it. But does make me wonder if I should give the Pegasus classes another look.
But that marks a pause in the madness since I was planning to get the Golden Deer run to the time skip at least before moving on with the Silver Snow route. So saner times ahead I guess. Maybe.

TERA I've reached level 52, tried to catch up main questline to my level and failed, went on ore/herb/essence gathering spree and listed way too much stuff in AH. I think I have enough gold to get costume that resembles actually decent armor... At the same time I like the one that's a bit more revealing, but fits better with rest of High Elves. Or I could gather more stuff and get both? Yeah, that's the plan. I may or may not ended up stuck on a tree because I was too busy watching pretty skyboxes Fortunately not in this case, since it was automatic flight. The other one ended up with me falling into pile of mobs...

Final Fantasy VI (Anthology)
Today, I regained an airship in the World of Ruin, and managed to track down Cyan. His re-recruitment happened to be gated behind the powerful Storm Dragon, yikes!
This is my first time playing the game, and I have had it on my backlog (shelf) for quite a while. I'm happy that I finally managed to get to it.

Which one? I never finished Subnautica. I had all the vehicles, could deal with all the enemies (mostly) and was almost done with the story. It's just that the last part required going through something that was just "nope" for my brain...and that is despite letting my seamoth get eaten by a Reaper just to see what happened. That was less scary than red, white and pitch dark with no sounds.

So a quick roundup of the last few days - I've been too busy at work to post anything. The horror! Anyway, got spaced...again. A few times, because these guys got sent after me to take my stuff, and super smart me, wanted to collect some additional funds for taking them out. This varies between the contract giver, can be anywhere from an extra 15k per kill, and the highest I've seen so far was 50k. so the routine goes, they find you, the interdict you (pull you out of supercruise so they can crush you to a pulp), and you either try and escape. You'll either succeed (they run off like little chickens) or you fail (along comes the hammering). So I intentionally failed one, because I wanted a sweet 50k for nothing. My plan was, the space po po would come to my rescue, and I'd steal the kills at the last minute and collect all the glory. And the money, but sure the glory helps. So in comes the hammering. And I got hammered. Space po po turned up at...approximately 3 seconds before my demise. Thanks for the assist guys. This is my fault for 2 reasons, it was a dumb plan, and I was flying a flimsy paper space plane. Blah blah blah, buy a few replica ships, make some cashola, and I'm up to about 17 million credits. Time to buy a new ship, and try something new. New ship was around 400k, but I spent nearly 3 million upgrading the thing I followed some random's build for a decent ship for bounty hunting (no more freighting for me!) as much as I could, some stuff wasn't available. One upgrade was 1.6 million...so I also skipped that. Didn't want to commit so much if I still really sucked at this part. So new plan, kinda bounty hunting space camping. This time I enlisted space po po (not their choice, they were just floating around the area). Went to the nav beacon (where everyone jumps in to the star system) and waited for some delinquents to turn up with a nice little "wanted" tag. Got my warrant scanner (not 100% sure on what this does exactly) scanned these space delinquents and waited for my new wingmen to take some shots. Waited til they softened the ship up (saw this on a youtube video, totally great idea), and tried my best to destroy the ship before they did. This didn't always work, but I think I got credit for some of the ones I didn't get from the warrant scanner. Made a little cash, didn't seem to be as lucrative as I had hoped, and at times there were large gaps between ships to destroy. Luckily I didn't get too trigger happy and blow up the wrong ones I did mess up a few times, and didn't change my fire group to the scanner from the weapon, and kinda preemptively started a fight. Luckily I only took half a beating before the space police saved my ass I think though, if I get better at this, I can start taking on contracts (where the real money at!). If not, this is a nice change from freighting for a while.

Beyond Two Souls Wacky. It's wacky. The QTEs. It took me some time to know that I should move the mouse in the direction Jody was taking when she's in slow motion. It's also not clear sometimes if I have to hit the keys briefly or hold them. In one instance, I had to press three and I didn't know if I have to hold all three. It's a bloody stretch for my fingers so of course I failed the sequence. I my freaking head off when she's doing a lesson and I had to move keys in order for her to write a theorem. The combat sequence is awkward. Kind of. I don't have to aim and fire at targets, it's auto. The problem is moving from cover to cover. So, I'm playing Jody as mostly obedient but can be uncooperative at times. Nathan : Do you know ***? Jody : shrug Nathan : Where is ***? Jody : shrug and so on. You get the idea. Aiden, well, I didn't go riot. There is the option to play the memories in sequence. This was not available when the game originally launched, I think. I chose to play it the way it was meant to be; out of sequence. In any case, I'm enjoying the game despite the crazy QTEs.

I finished Heavy Rain. I guess I liked it, but the more I think about it, the more I find things to dislike. The reveal of the killer was lame and there are so many things that don't really make sense in context of the story beyond tricking the player, in addition to stuff that's just never explained. The voice acting is also surprisingly bad for a lot of it.
Also, Madison looks like she suddenly had ass implants when she's wearing jeans.

And even moer awkward if you have to press multipl ebuttons at once. Thankfully most QTE's don't require it though.

Reinstalled Assasins Creed Odessy on the new PC to see how it ran:
It's acceptable. Might keep it around for the occasional bit of adventuring, I do like me a bit of Kassandra.
