TERA I think I'm catching up with main quests levels, but it's at a cost of not doing absolutely anything else. Even gathering is out of question, since it gives surprisingly decent experience. While trying to catch up with quests I reached level 60 (it'd be easier if main questline didn't give that much experience ... wow, never thought I'll complain about exp reward being too high). As for my armor dilemma from yesterday, I ended up picking third option that I didn't mention, since I didn't think I'd gather enough Fashion Coupons for it so quickly. So here's new armor in one of the most memorable locations, at least for me. Decent mix of the two I was eyeing (and probably my fav from what I can get now). This instance is the most memorable instance in TERA for me, not because of how beautiful it is or its mechanics, but because it was rather big test of my skills at that time. The first time I queued for it, our tank left between first and second boss (there's 4 of them) and people asked - nicely - if I can tank, since no one new was joining (warrior is so-called evasion tank, but it's not go-to tank class in TERA). I agreed, even though I've never done that before and I was still green when it came to party play. Long story short, we finished it with one less person and no deaths. I was so proud of my newbie self that I never forgot about this instance Oh, and I was way too happy about no crashes today, because of course I had to crash when I tried to join instance for some level-appropriate gear

azarhal Think it looked like the one in this picture. (Not my pic ) steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2153861511But it was dark in the ocean and all I really remember is a red open mouth snapping down my neighbour fishies. I know there are way more scarier things out there, but I'm such a wuss and chronic restarter that I'll doubt I'll ever see them in person. (Thank the maker). As for todays session (+last nights extra session) it was spent in Fire Emblem Three Houses. So Golden boy is called Damian, which is way to close to Daniel in hindsight so Golden boy it is. Anyways, he made it through time of sorrows and rebirth I guess? Really digging the easy mode he's got going on but at the same time kinda missing the hair tearing challenge. Like if I could get the enemy numbers from Maddening with the skill sets from the Hard/Normal that would be just peachy. Claude is such a sweet heart so far. And Hilda is a brutal noodly armed killing machine in this run. Really regret giving Lysithea the Dancer class, since the dance move would be better spent ON her than by her. Raphael is also pulling some heavy punches this time around. Hur hur punches cuz he fights with his fists. And rest of the team is just adorable. Accidentally managed to seduce Sylvain into the group (Golden boy is wearing the dancer outfits so he must have confused him with his skirts) and forgot how many goodies were in his paralogue battle. And he gives a battalion with Stride, which is real nice. So got two chapters until the time skip and then a fist fight who gets to go first. Or well, fist fight with my mood I guess.

Tropico 6. I finished the Communist Utopia which for some reasons kept generating rebels against me despite my 70%+ of liberty happiness and ~70% approval. It was either the church people or the people who wanted fun that were angry. The first one because I had to destroy all the cult places, the second because my tourist industry just overtake all the "fun" building and the locals can't use them so they are bored. Also, at some point, the "quest line" ask you to build car garages and give the free wheels edicts so people can drive. It destroyed my economy, so I destroyed them and after a few months I was back at making lots of $$$$. Logistic is so important to make money. Next mission: Chocolate factory heaven (I really wonder what the hell that is, sugar and cacao only, lol). azarhal Think it looked like the one in this picture. You are missing out. There are some pretty things down there and most of the game is safe (from a distance). Gets easier once you get everything to build a seamoth to travel around. When I played the game, at some point I encounter a mesmer (a fish that hypnotize you). My reaction was *maniac knife attacks everywhere* once I realized what was happening...but it wasn't a very deadly fish in the end and they are easy to avoid. I find the sounds scarier than the fish anyway. But like i said, I never could finish the game, once it gets to the "pitch dark" areas. Just Nope!

Been forever, anyways I did the Omega and Citadel DLCs for ME 3 Clone Shepard in the bulky armor looks pretty goofy to me, kinda wishing clone Shepard was recruitable for shenanigans. Been focusing on Mass Effect: Andromeda...I'm kinda hating how big the maps are, especially with some of the unmarked quests since I want to try and get 100%. Currently I'm on Elaadan and have done the loyalty quests for Liam, Cora, Jaal, Vetra, and Drack. in other games, last Kombat League season I only made it to Grandmaster (so no Skarlet mask for me ). I'd like to think I've gotten better with Nightwolf, but I still rely on Skarlet when points are at stake. Anyways a new Kombat League season is up, might try using Fujin. Just started up the Last of Us. (Pathologic 2 is on the backburner, it's one of those games where I worry about messing up and just stop making progress).

Reinstalled Assasins Creed Odessy on the new PC to see how it ran:
It's acceptable. Might keep it around for the occasional bit of adventuring, I do like me a bit of Kassandra.
2070Super or regular? With a 1080Ti I get similar results in Odyssey's benchmark at Ultra (except Clouds at High, DoF off, and Fog Medium I think), 1440p and 115% FOV.

Back in the world of Satisfactory I have been trying to future-proof my production of low tier items, and I am slowly getting a grip on how to set up manifold systems using elevators and elevated conveyor bus-lines. No matter how much I try and optimize though I still can't seem to make enough materials to meet demand. That and my factory is staring to drive that OCD part of my brian insane. There is a patchwork of different production lines scattered around my starting location; each with foundations at different angles and floating platforms stacked on top of each other. I want to tear it all down and start over but I don't know if I have the endurance to rebuild everything, plus I'm not even sure how to design my layout in a way that's efficient as well as pleasing to the eye.

Never thought I'd get honked on in TERA by small yellow car with Popori (basically tiny magical animals) in it, but I did. Apparently there's mount like that I tried to make screenshot of it, but after I checked my folders it seems I didn't manage to catch it on any. Dang it! As for my quest to line up main quests levels with mine. Considering I'm close to max level, I don't think I'll manage to do that before hitting it. Well, at least I can steamroll thru solo instance bosses. Got serious Collector's Base (and overall Reapers-like) vibes from one location, with harvesting living beings and all. Learned that Thedas is not the only one with Veil problems. And met Deathwings' cousin. Day full of crossovers

Thanks to azarhal I put on the big people pants and dove back into Subnautica and ended up getting further than I'd ever gotten. So that was nice. A disjointed recounter of my adventures. Long and spoilery so...have fun? So restarted the game since I like to start fresh. Did it the super wuss style with the lights on, smaller screen and a youtube video in the background. Go through the crash, probably get decapitated but the computer just claims it's "minor head injuries"....sure. Not sure if I got lucky or the less scary tactics worked, but actually found sulfur, titanium and silicon in the first day, so off to a good start. Then managed to upgrade my oxygen tank, get some fins, make a knife (forgot about it in the last attempts) and a scanner. So life is good. Start on upgrading the oxygen tank even more and also find enough Seaglider fragments and material to snag me one of those. Life is real good now. So start exploring some more. Find some cool red reefs I don't remember seeing before and a sand shark which I do remember seeing. It was a lot less scary in the daylight. Until it swam right at me and bit me . So swam away in a hurry. Found some big landmass whales and realized one of the sounds which scared the life outta me was from them. It's still terrifying, but the whales themselves look...harmless? Did scan one of them and started picking some stuff on it's back, but then got a bit injured so said sorry, sorry, sorry and swam away. Decided to try and build a habitat builder and made some progress with it. Aka made a tube next to the escape pod and put a door and solar panel on it. Then put a fabricator and a locker and felt pretty darn good about myself. Then per usual the Aurora went nuclear, I enjoyed the show and my first big line mark in polluting the planet was a-go-go. Actually managed to create a radiation suit this time around, which is a first for me. Got the third distress call from the pods and think I found it, but need a laser cutter for the last room. Then a sand shark joined me and I managed to lock him in the pod and watched him clip through the walls for a while. So left it for a while. They are probably fine...And they've got a new friend! Went to do some more stuff and got the message that the Sunbeam is coming to save me. Sure. So haul ass to the landing site and do a bit of exploring. Make another tube in there, then realize that I'm missing all the basic stuff and not finding any of it around. So haul ass back to the escape pod, get some stuff and go back. Realize I don't have enough for a fabricator, didn't bring any water and only got like 6 points left in hydration. So it looks like it's game over for me. Then remember the Creep Vines give water, so swim there, gorge on some Vines and make it back to the pod. Gather stuff for the fabricator, pack some water and other necessities. Check the new message on the radio and get told that someone knows where I am, is planning to tell his friends and hunt me down. No, no, no the fish are bad enough. Leave me alone. Go back to the island, set up base and create a laser cutter with the fine diamonds I found around the island. Explore the island a bit more and am reminded of Andromeda's remnants by the big building on the island. Wonder if the ones here are friendly. Then it's time for the Sunbeams landing. And I really wish I knew how to talk to them, to tell them it's a bad idea and I'm fine really. Scared out of my mind, but fine. But alas, I can't. So watch them descend, hear them pondering about the building, look at it and goshdarn it it's actually a gun. Well shucks, nothing I can do but enjoy the show I guess? Took a small break after that, then went back in. And got a radio message from Dorian! Didn't know he was here. Granted he wont be lively when I find him, but still, nice hearing from him. Went on a bit of a gathering spree and made myself a Seamoth! Which can only go 200m and my objective is 250m and 300m. So... Also managed to track down the recipe and ingredients for a propeller cannon. WHOOP. Those crab monsters better watch out! So decided to finally start dealing with that big radio active ship. Made it inside without any grace and a lot of fumbling. I've been there before, but without the propeller and only a knife, so yeeting those crabs into space was...cathartic. Forgot about the fire though. But the game gave me an extinguisher. Which I kinda wasted, then wandered into a fire and died my first death. Whoops. Did make a save before heading out there, so think I'll just reload back those seven minutes next attempt. Hehe. Might also look what I'm supposed to be doing since I felt pretty lost in there and the 24 hour timer was not calming in the slightest. All in all this session was pretty scary, but got better as time went along and got used to the fish in my area. Then it will get worse when I need to venture deeper for better stuff. So fun? The game is beautiful though, I'll give it that.

Did some more [z]lazy cheapo bounty hunting [/s] space camping. Its good practice for me, I'm sort of learning some tricks along the way. Messed up a few times by firing at the space delinquents (one was Elite, highest tier), who very quickly shot out my canopy (windscreen/windshield) and made me run off with my space tail between my legs I had 5 minutes to hightail it to the nearest space station, which luckily was only a few lightseconds away. Note for future reference - pay attention to what you are doing and stay near the safety of a station I didn't get time to even see if he had a nice pay cheque on him (I'm sure he did) but because my dumb ass didn't warrant scan him first, if my back up blew him up, I got nothing but a repair bill. Didn't make too much off this little venture, went back to the infirmaryspace station, and found a nice juicy courier contract waiting for me . Only downside was I had to get my cargo ship...shipped in. Meh 6 minutes wait, and only a few thousand dollars. Around $2.4 million, and requiring multiple trips, I was concerned this was going to end up being a doozy like some of the other ones, where the station was 176,000+ light seconds away (aka a really long time flying, and even slower if you use the auto assist), but I decided, what the hell, its late now, I can do one run now and finish it off tomorrow. Praise Cthulhu! It took hardly any time to get there once I jumped in. I have finally not rolled myself I'm gonna be rich tonight

So fun? The game is beautiful though, I'll give it that. tip: you don't get crushed by depth pressure when just in your bodysuit. You can take the seamoth to 200m depth and swim the remaining 50m. Also, I remember are craftable module for the seamoth that increase its depth range (max 900m with the MK3). Otherwise you can try to find all the pieces to craft a Prawn which can go down to 900m without modules...and punch/drill the nasty fishes too. It's technically a mining suit. The peaceful large fishes (reefbacks) make whales sounds. If there is a sound near them that scares you, that's probably one of the Reapers. You can check the wiki to validate, there is a sound sample for the Reaper. Beware not to listen to that before going to bed, you might have nightmares.

Eesh, I had forgotten how much I love this voice actress:
Trying heavy blunt this time. Last time I used daggers. Right, I was not going to kill him this time. But re-seeing this scene, and having two daughters myself? Fuck him when the time comes.
(Yes I know I miss out on quests etc later, but seriously? Fuck that guy.)
Melissanthi Mahut is a goddess and her voice work is fantastic!!!!! Seriously hope she gets lots more work. I killed the wolf last time but it just didn't feel right, Stentor on the other hand I went to look up what she's doing. She appeared briefly in the Eurovision Song contest 2020 : The Story of Fire Saga trailer. Spot her. Not sure what's her role. She's in a movie; Red Door and Lemon Tree. I think it's a Greek production.

Maybe my memory is failing me and it got plenty of attention when it was originally released, but people have been seriously sleeping on Beyond: Two Souls all this time. I'm LOVING this so far. It's so much better than Heavy Rain.

Beyond Two Souls
The game is fine but the camera angles is detrimental to completing sequences. Sometimes it's so dark, the camera angle quite a distance away that I had no idea which direction I should move the mouse. Or sometimes the scene is so dusty / windy, I was stuck trying to decide the direction. So Jodie would get hit and injured. Annoying.

Was back to the world of Satisfactory last night though it was a more abbreviated session focused solely on house cleaning my starter factory. I still have a little ways to go yet but I finally bit the bullet and began redoing all those disparate assembly lines into a more organized structure. Nearly all of the foundation plates in my construction line up evenly with each other now, though I still have yet to remodel my power station. Speaking of which, once I get all my reflooring and streamlining done the next thing I need to do is straighten out the rat's nest of power lines I have infesting my factory. It's so disorganized that in moving around some smelter lines I actually managed to cut off my water excavators from the main power grid; which lead to my coal generators not having any water to turn into steam which blacked out my entire enterprise. I had to momentarily revert back to burning leaves & wood for energy just to get my water pumps functioning enough so that I could reset the automated power station. Once I get all my foundations fixed, and I finish updating my early production lines into more efficient layouts I think it will finally be time to start working on the space elevator assembly projects I have been avoiding. Tier 7 -8 here I (will eventually) come. I'm not sure what it is about this game that is so engaging to me that I can spend hours at a time planing out and trying to optimize my virtual factory but I'm not complaining. If anything it's really helped me get into the mindset of my Machine Empire I created for the game Stellaris. In that title I have a networked machine intelligence I created who's purpose is to categorize and utilize planets to help with interstellar construction projects; creating Dyson Swarms or Relay Gates, that sort of thing. If a squishy organic can get engrossed in a process of logistics and organization, imagine what an AI could do with that mandate on a galactic scale?
