I took advantage of the Black Friday sale to finally get Origins plus the season pass. The only AC game I don't have now is AC1, but I'm waiting/hoping for the remaster for that one. I still need to finish playing Rogue and Unity. Is Mirage further along in development than I thought? It's already available for preorder. Spring 2023 is the most definitive date I can find. When is that in the Northern Hemisphere, our Autmn so March to June?

When is that in the Northern Hemisphere, our Autmn so March to June? Most likely March through May. Most of June is technically still spring, but I think most spring releases have been in the earlier months. Mirage is closer than I thought, then. Still seems odd to preorder a game with no release date. I'll be waiting for reviews, personally.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Aiming to Release in August 2023insider-gaming.com/assassins-creed-mirage-release/Not much is currently known about Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s release date apart from a vague 2023 date set on its initial release trailer. However, Insider Gaming has learned that the game is currently scheduled to release in August. Understandably, the date is tentative and subject to change, but the August date was initially set to be much sooner in the year with the game now internally being delayed twice.

According to this Codename Red might be pushed back between 6 months to a year due to guy in charge of it being an unpleasant asshole and some of the staff are threatening to leave unless he stops acting like unpleasant asshole or is removed altogether, meanwhile the studio that made Valhalla and is currently making Codename: Hexe have blown away the suits with how cool Codename: Hexe is it's already going into full production. I don't know if Red gets pushed back does that mean Hexe gets pushed back as well or they will release Hexe first then Red? It's probably way too early to start worrying either way, but there are some questions that interesting, maybe that is why Ubisoft wants to do that Assassin's Creed: Infinite project to avoid problems like this?

I won't say I have given up on AC games, but as it stands the new games are going to have to impress me before I buy one. Even if I do buy another AC game any DLC is a no go after how Ubisoft handled AC2 and AC3 DLC this year. I get that there could be infrastructure issues, but they pretty much told people that what they bought was gone unless they paid more for the DLC in the new versions of the games. Meanwhile if you bought an Ubisoft game on Stadia, Google gave everyone a full refund and if you owned an Ubisoft title Ubisoft gives it to you for free on Ubisoft Connect.

He summed it up right. That's how I feel about Valhalla; meaningless bloat, bad Ubi policies. He's spot on that it's the worst of the AC titles. It's too bad because I like Eivor but then, not that well enough to play her final send off.

It's too bad because I like Eivor but then, not that well enough to play her final send off. Just a preamble. I didn't watch the whole video and I skipped through parts and watched the entire conclusions so I might have the wrong takes. For Valhalla is no longer worth a 60min YouTube Video. I agree with his points about Valhalla, but the problem I have is aside from completely broken stealth and nothing to bypass the problems like in Odyssey I had the same feelings about the the last three games for they all had the same time-wasting elements and felt like they were being designed to attract as many people as possible. The only thing that really made Odyssey something I could finish was Cassandra and her voice acting, if I was stuck with Alexios the game would have been probably impossible for me to finish. One of the biggest issues I take with Odyssey and I think Valhalla over corrected for is I completely lost the critical path and stumbled upon the epilogue of the game. I have a much clearer memory of the story of Valhalla then I do of Odyssey even though I think the story was told poorly and it wasn't very good.

EXCLUSIVE – UBISOFT IS GOING “ALL IN” ON ASSASSIN’S CREED WITH 4 MORE GAMES ALREADY PLANNEDinsider-gaming.com/assassins-creed-all-in/Ubisoft officially announced the future of Assassin’s Creed in September 2022, revealing a total of four games in development; Mirage, Codename Red, Codename Hexe, and Codename Jade. Ubisoft officially announced its Assassins’ Creed multiplayer offering, Project Invictus one month later. In total, six Ubisoft games are already well into development, with the yet-to-be-announced Project Nexus, a VR title, expected to be officially revealed at E3 later this year. Insider Gaming sources have revealed that three more fully-fledged titles are also in the conceptual and prototype phase, with the addition of Nexus 2 already being discussed. Codenamed Nebula, Raid, and Echoes, each of the pitched Assassin’s Creed titles will be developed by different studios and will have vastly different playstyles from its predecessors. “They are going all in with AC and some other major franchises”, one source said. Ubisoft Sofia, known for co-developing Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation and Assassin’s Creed Rogue has pitched Project Nebula – An Assassin’s Creed title that will have three different settings; India, Aztec Empire, and Mediterranean. Ubisoft Chengdu has pitched Project Raid – A free-to-play 4-player co-operative title that will be PvE. It’s believed that the titles Assassins will all be from the Assassin’s Creed universe. Ubisoft Annecy, known for developing the multiplayer portion of games like Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell, as well as co-developing The Division 2 with Massive Entertaining has pitched Project Echoes, which has been described as a multiplayer title that will use Ubisoft Scarlar technology. Sources suggest that the series will be going back to its annual release cycle, with major entries being significantly different from the last. The first, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is scheduled to release around August of this year, followed by Assassin’s Creed Nexus soon after (2023). Although tentative release dates, sources revealed that Codename Red is scheduled for 2024, Assassin’s Creed Invictus for 2025, and Assassin’s Creed Hexe for 2026. Of course, internal release dates are uncertain especially given Ubisoft’s past of delaying titles but those are the dates currently planned. Codename Red is reportedly already in good shape, sources told Insider Gaming, with its ‘spin’ on the series set to have two playable characters and the game will have a strong focus on stealth.

Blergh. I'll wait till it's super cheap I would suggest the approach I took and went the sniper route, in the more open areas I could snipe enemies and not get detected. When going stealth I found I gave the game a piece of my mind too often to stay that course.

I'm replaying Valhalla now - *pauses for shocked response* - and the stealth is working quite well. Took down one of the early forts in Norway without anyone noticing me.

Blergh. I'll wait till it's super cheap It's a game about Vikings stealth pffftt, just go in axes blazing literally or as Sanunes says using the bow to stealth Sniper works really well. Have you played Origins and Odyssey? Yup. I loved the bow in Origin. I would stalk those fortresses for way too long, taking out dudes here and there and sending a plague thru the population
