This thread really makes me rethink a particular key element of me3mp. I was so naive back then, never using the claymore on an adept because I was scared to run around with a 4 second recharge time on my singularity. I wouldn't have been so afraid had I known back then that andromeda's singularity would have a 24 second recharge time. It's funny when I look back at it now. Lol well sh** when you put it that way yeah, me too kind of. Mass Effect 3's MP anything that ever boarded on me losing that 200% recharge was a no go for me, unless it was a gun focused class like Infiltrator. Heaviest sh** I used was a Phaston X on my Asari Justicar(Gave me 191% Recharge), with Reave and Barrier Bubble maxed and spec to combo off each other, I think she had Pull too but that ability was considered largely useless, at least to me.

That's pretty much how I was for most characters too. Also, I have to apologise to the phaeston, I never used it because I thought it was bad. Turns out it's much better than all of the weapons in andromeda. Again, funny how things turn out! I really miss reave, and the phaeston (which I never even used), and those quick recharge time and the bubble. And the biotic combos this is making me sad. Pull wasn't useless in my opinion, even though I rarely maxed it out on the asari bubble adept. For example, you can use it in conjunction with the acolyte to completely trivialise phantoms and anything with a red health bar, you don't even have to finish them off, walk away and let them float! And the detonation of pull by reave is fairly powerful and has a decent radius, it was a thing of beauty. We'll never see anything like that in andromeda. Really sad.

That's how that f***er was spelled lol Phaeston. But yeah Phaeston by no means was god tier or anything but it was a solid weapon for the fact that it was Common and it was something different than just running the Acolyte of Carnifex all day long. It also looked cool as hell lol Light enough to almost have 200% Recharge Ok damage (hit harder than the Avenger but not as hard as the Revenant) decent RPM Fairly accurate and on top of everything had a 50 round magazine which was close to the Revenant which was heavier, kicked like a mule and a Rare (Harder to obtain but by the end of my time with ME3MP I was on my way to getting all the UR's to X) Also very true about Pull, just wasn't a fan ever since they took away the ability to lift anything that wasn't a red bar, though I suppose Biotic's were a little too strong in Mass Effect. I did however prefer Singularity over pull in that regard, one pop with Acolyte and toss that puppy in the direction of anything you want to suffer lol

There is no reason to use the word "other" in that case. It's just a max of four trees, not other four trees. It's just a weird way of wording something that could be said in a simpler fashion, especially when there's still lots of confusion about people believing they can max all five powers. Not sure why you're so amped up over this. And that's why my job is to write Mass Effect weapons & powers descriptions at BioWare Montreal. Hope you enjoy your deadly Avenger. But seriously, I edited my post to make things less ambiguous. In my mind, "the other 4" meant the ones benchimus was talking about maxing (re-read his original post), by opposition to the one he wants to skip (I might be wrong but I thought it was obvious he wouldn't spend any additional point in it, making it a 66661 build). Lololololol, what a gig you have! It's not a big deal my dude, I just misinterepted what you wrote.

sir, SIR keep your laughs to yourself xD I used and abused power focused classes so I usually only ever had an Acolyte in my hands, and I scoff at the idea of a Biotic or Engineer running around with a Claymore in his/her hands. My human sentinel skipped warp and claymored all the things. Every Throw was a tech burst. She was a real boss killer.
