List of shame meaning Unfinished games you still grinding through....but get distracted easily and keep having to go back and try to remember where you left off.
For me..
My constant is ESO (Elder scrolls Online) I play this at least 3 nights a week
But games i am playing and have yet to finish..
1) Mass Effect: Andromeda (about 44 hours in and lots more to go) 2) Skyrim : the never ending title..lol 3) Fallout 4 : still havent playerd through the whole thing yet but i chip away at it. 4) Ghost recon: wildlands ( got the game free with my new GPU so why not) 5) Battlefield 1
and soon to be added to the growing buffet of games is Kingdom Come Deliverance (when its released...looks very promising) and maybe new South Park if UBIsoft didnt screw it up too bad.

1. Skyrim 195 hours still haven't finished ( Damn all those DLCs and mods)
And rest about 90 games that I haven't finished on Steam. It's hard to get immersed and hooked by games after you've experienced the ME trilogy, DA:Origins and Witcher 2 & 3. Shooters I haven't really played actively since BF3 and the campaigns are so short that it's hard not to complete most of them accidentally.
Honestly though, if I don't enjoy the gameplay I will just drop the game and watch the cinematics on YouTube, so I won't even be going back to them.

KOTOR. Definitely KOTOR.
Inquisition a bit. Third, achievement hunting, playthrough got abandoned somewhere in early Haven. Aaand a tiny bit of Andromeda, because NG+?
And yeah, Witcher 3's NG+, if I ever manage to get back to it, because I just... eh, no, if you know me, you know why I've listed it.

Metro 2033. Tried to finish that for YEARS now. Skyrim. I don't think I'll every finish that one. Dex. I was excited for it and then it just got... too indie for me. I was playing Inquisition for almost 2 years. Finally finished it just last year. It turned out to be fun after all.

I twice started The Secret World and really tried to get into it. I do really like the concept behind it, i.e. these grand conspiracies taking place underneath the veneer of normal modern society, and the NPCs I was meeting were interesting enough. But both times, the overwhelming amount of things to do, the lack of control over my own character (I don't get to choose any dialogue and can't ask anybody to explain just what the hell is going on), and the MMO elements with other people running around doing the same quests as I was, including fighting monsters I had just defeated half an hour ago, made it wear off for me. At this point I'm probably not likely to go back to it again, unless someone reissues it as a single-player RPG with dialogue choices.

Fallout 4 - 379 hours in, 1000s of installed mods and still not ended once (but I begin every 2 months or so anew, just to not play again after 2 or 3 days xD) Saints Row: The Third - it lingers in my Steam library for years now - still played like right to the middle and kind of touched it never again afterwards. I have all DLCs etc and I had fun but most of the time I kind of got caught up in other games so I never ended this game. Skyrim: Never ended it even once - and I love the Enderal mod a lot, so I just play Enderal with it and not Skyrim >.<

Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain - Installed, play it for a bit then stop for 6 months Fallout 4 - Last run got to lvl 45 just off side quests, have yet to beat any of the side quests for the various factions Haven't beaten the new Thief game purchased the new wolfenstein game, but it was too over the top for me. Same with saints row 3 (turned me off the entire series).
There are many, many, others I haven't played yet, but have purchased the rights to have them in my steam library (because you don't own anything in steam, you only purchase the rights to play the games you 'buy'), but haven't played.
I've really curtailed my steam purchasing recently. Unless there's a game I simply must have, I don't buy it. Sale or no, wish list or no. *shrugs*

Alien: Isolation.
I love the franchise and the setting, I love the detail and atmosphere in the game... but I just couldn't finish it. It frustrated me to no end how even several headshots from a big caliber revolver couldn't reliably kill a Working Joe, or how I'm surrounded by all this wonderfully crafted detailed scenery but can't take it in because I need to watch my motion tracker and listen for sounds in the vents. And I swear the alien's AI is intentionally crafted to piss off the player. I can't count how often it sniffed around the room I was hiding in, finally wandered off, and as soon as I started to move, came sprinting right back at me from 60 m away no matter how quiet I'd been in the darkness. Ugh.

Good gods, do I have quite the list of games I never bothered to finish. Witcher 3 - Feels like a slog to go through. Dislike the combat a bit, almost requires a controller to play because PC controls feel like wank. Dragon Age Inquisition - See above. Life is Strange - Need a controller. Also got a bit depressed a bit into chapter 4 and stopped. Metro Redux series - Great looking games. I just can't for the life of me finish these games (or at least start Last Light). Warhammer: Vermintide - See DAI. ES: Oblivion - Can't for the life of me mod this ancient game into something playable without it catastrophically failing; and this is after days of looking at and properly installing the most stable/important of mods that also seem to be most beloved, as well as trying to mod the species/races so they don't look like lumpy potatoes, or overripe blueberries in the case of dunmer. Fallout 3 - Slightly similar issue as above, but it's easier to mod out successfully. Kingdoms of Amalur - See DAI. I have even more than this I've quit mid-playthrough. Persona 5, Yooka-Laylee, Sexy Brutale, The Void because I have no idea what I'm doing in that one, Syberia II. Love that game. I'll be honest: it's a little hard, but doable. Your best bet is to use your farms to feed a single sister. Also, silver is a tough color to farm or collect, red makes the game needlessly harder than it should be (as in, more monsters to fight and they hit harder. Silver makes the cycles speed up), use those very selectively. Use azure a lot. It's plentiful and allows for faster movement. Or, use the easy or medium patch to make the game more forgiving.

Firmly at the top of my list of shame is Baldur's Gate 2.
I've even made about 5 different characters but for some reason I never finish the game and just get distracted by something else. Then when I decide to play it again I forget what I was doing and go "I'll just start a new character".

That would be Dragon Age Inquisition, despite a couple of hundred hours in. I got seriously derailed by Kerbal Space program.

Divinity: Original Sin. I enjoy the game but I can't seem to finish it. I kind of dip in and out of it. I've logged 186 hrs over several years. Maybe it's my chill out game. I think a lot of that time is spent in inventory management/crafting. Also Fallout 4, it seems anything with an extensive crafting/inventory system easily diverts me (It's easy to get diverted in FO4 as the story/characters are not particularly compelling).

Original Sin, played it only in co-op with a friend but I doubt I'll ever finish it. Witcher 3, side quests are much more interesting than the main plot, not sure if I'll finish it.
