Wasted 150 Mission Funds purchasing Quick Response Vehicle IV, while it stayed on my lvl 20 Strike Team for awhile I decided to purchase another 150 Mission Fund Equipment (Permanent Equipable gear) so I equip All Weather Gear IV in its place thinking my Quick Response Vehicle IV would stay in some sort of inventory to be used by another Strike Team.
But....
In true Bioware/EA fashion
My Quick Response Vehicle IV is now gone and I'm am ripped off of my 150 Mission Funds spent on a "Permanent equipment" That is only permanent until you unequip it apparently...
Trying to select it just prompts me to purchase it AGAIN, which I will not be doing.
TLDR: If you use the APEX mobile App do not, I repeat DO NOT uneuip the Equipment item to put on your Strike Team or it will disappear.

You kidding right? What point do mission funds serve then if I'm suppose to just go "well I've just been robbed, that's ok" Unlike credits it takes days and hours to earn 150+ Mission Funds and getting them reliably is complete RNG, even when the odds of success are over 90% you will still occasionally fail missions. They are also the only means of getting Equipment items such as Juggernaut Shields for the Multiplayer. Only reason I don't get more pissed off about other aspects such as disconnects late into a match on Gold is because it takes 15-30 minutes to purchase the 2 most expensive packs, which is a minor nuisance compared to losing days worth of an in game currency. It be like if you were saving a million+ credits for a pack opening for a new DLC and the day before the content drops you log in only to find that you have 0 Credits remaining.

I just throw them at whatever mission is up, chances be damned. Gonna keep saving up mission funds to use in MP, be it for character respecs or consumables, especially respecs though. Went through them like candy in ME3.

No it isn't - not by a long shot. I don't even have access to the app (I have a Windows phone), but can reguarly get 25-50 funds a day just checking twice on Origin. Besides, Mission Funds serve one purpose, and one purpose only; To buy three pieces (so far) of multiplayer gear, worth 70, 70 and 120 mission funds respectively. Losing 150 mission funds due to you thinking it worked a certain way, when we already discussed how it works on these forums the past two weeks, is silly and not something you generally should rage about. We get that you are mad at yourself for just pressing the phone, so next time try searching topics before commiting to doing something you do not know the consequences on. So suck it up buttercake, it's not a world ending event.

Went through them like candy in ME3. All 3 of my Strike teams have 80-90%+ odds on all but Gold and the lvl 20 Strike Team I have with the rank IV equipment on has anywhere from a 60-80% chance at Gold depending on the mission criteria. Just kept throwing them at Bronzes until the odds success for Silver was like 75-80%, didn't want them fail too frequently so I don't end up like some people who have Strike Teams with like 9 Negative effects lol. So Far my Strike Teams are all at or close to lvl 20 and 2 of the 3 only have 1 negative attribute, one with Xenophobia which I think is a negative when fighting Kett and another with Remnent Histeria. Both of which don't really effect Silver, just changes the odds of success from like 94% to like 86%.

So suck it up buttercake, it's not a world ending event. Lol easier said than done, since you brought it up. Searching both APEX and APEX Equipment yielded no note worthy results about the topic of my thread, care explain to me why equipment magically disappears when you purchase and equip that same team with another piece of gear? If you can tell me that this is in fact intentional with your source or in fact a bug with again a source then I will happily grin and bear it. Lessons already learned Lastly the way these items are delivered being that they are 1: Considered Equipment which in both Mass Effect 3 and Andromeda are PERMANENT 2: Very expensive, ranging from 75 Mission Funds all the way up to 300 Mission Funds, so by your own account 3-12 days worth of sending teams on missions. (which in my opinion is a long ass time to purchase what is essentially a consumable) I'll admit I was mad for a solid like 2 minutes and figured it was Thread worthy if this is not readily known information which from my 2 searches isn't.

Apparently, Strike Teams can gain negative traits. So far I didn't get any on either one of my teams, but it did make me very reluctant to spend those mission funds on a team which may suddenly turn useless. I'll just save them in case we sometime get to purchase an Asari with Warp for them or something like that.

From my experience the negative effects are only acquired from the Strike Team failing the missions you send them on. So far all my teams have like 8-9 positive traits while 2 of the 3 only have 1 negative and its not giving a make or break negative attribute. (difference of like 94% and 88% on a silver) I would say having 3 teams is essential if you want to max the amount of Mission Funds you can earn per day.

I just make a new team every time I have 200+ points and no new gear to buy, every time you make a new one it gives you 4 extra missions lol

Why would you waste funds on equipment?

Why would you waste funds on equipment? Increased odds of success for your strike teams. I was under the assumption just like in the Multiplayer Equipment items were permanent upgrades, which clearly isn't the case unless this is some sort of bug, which I never got a response back on that. Normally for Gold APEX missions sending a Strike team will often result in a 30%ish chance of success, 50% give or take under the right circumstances. (You have multiple positive traits that correspond to the mission your sending the team on) If you then equip them with the appropriate rank IV Equipment you can get success rates for gold into the 90% range, which is just more Mision Funds really as the reward crates for single player are complete garbage.

So 150 wasted, I just purchased so more Gold missions wouldn't fail, also didn't play the multiplayer until 4 days into release as I was balls deep in the single player. (86 hours first run) Not to mention APEX Strike Teams were inaccessible for a large majority of that playthrough I didn't even start earning Mission Funds until the tail end of that. When I jumped into the MP I think I had like 30-60 Mission Funds. Haven't missed any multiplayer equipment yet though. Would have over 300 now but I bought 2 APEX Strike Team equipment not knowing once they are taken off they have to be purchased again. (semi Permanent apparently)
