P.A.W is secretly OP and very powerful

Mine is at IX and is still trash. My Valkyrie is at X and it is still trash. Most URs are trash.

Well, maybe I am remembering wrong, but the PA in ME3 only did 20ish base but ramped up to ....88? Maybe they tried to do the same to do the PAW, but couldn't figure out how to implement the ramp up mechanic.

I'm so sorry for your loss. 

I mean, the PAW has I think half the damage the Avenger has. So, if the Avenger is quite possibly top 3 worst guns in the game (and remember than 99% of the guns are shit already, so that's saying a LOT) there's not much a gun can do when it has half that damage.

I'm actually surprised the gun doesn't malfunction and kill its operator in the process, you know, to help the AI even more.

The collector "sniper" rifle isn't bugged on full auto, it has an ammo consumption multiplier that increases when you hold it, which works on a charge mechanic. While messing around modding the weapon I made the charge take 9 seconds and it would only consume 1 ammo per shot. Made the gun way more effective when you held the trigger.

The paw doesn't have that problem, it does 40 damage per shot and has a 37 round magazine. Which means without buffs it will only do 1480 damage per magazine. It simply just sucks balls lol

Yeah, no wonder. They love twitter for feedback, ugh.
But how are we supposed to list everything wrong with the game in 140 something characters? 

I think Warframe briefly had a period where you could make a gun do that.  They introduced legendary mods that could have positive and negative stats, and the right stat going negative could make a gun heal enemies.  I think it was negative crit damage or something. 

Well, you know - it seems to me that the old BSN was a cess pool of dank meme trolling in the end, and while we have some of the more level headed people here, there's still alot of hostility to go through if you want to keep up to speed on the topics that happen every day.

The technical feedback thread for instance isn't really moderated, and balance suggestions are just people's opinions based on widely differing playtimes and RNGsus luck, which partly is Bioware's responsibility for not providing enough data to begin with.

I would certainly not want my every move scrutinized by people on these forums, because I'd be damned if I did, and damned if I didn't - so it's a lose/lose situation.

I would however, like them to clearly state what the design goals were, like "We balanced for Bronze, and Bronze only", so that people knew. The speculation and uncertainty creates as many problems as it potentially solves.

Neither one of those are mooks and they both take a lot of hurricane VI sustained fire to kill on gold (with barrel X). A lot. P.A.W. actually looks good there compared to other weapons...

I'm not sure about the PAW, used it in SP for a long time. In general I love self-regenerating weapons. I used the Collector sniper rifle on Platinum, with warp rounds its damage gets insane (I'll take a video of it somewhen). MEA currently misses warp rounds and for me also extended barrels. I am very curious about the damage output of many weapons once I use maxed barrels on them.

Same with the Collector SMG, it synergizes very well with biotics, the weapon just closes the DPS gap between cooldowns. I think the PAW can be decent for some engineers and biotics.
