When the P.A.W. reaches rank X, it has the highest accuracy of any assault rifle, an ok weight (18), and a damage per clip which is ok. DPS is not all that great but if you are using it to prime opponents for detonation that might not be such a big deal - especially since it reloads itself while you are using your powers. The sweeper's raw stats look better, but I am not sure if its "burst of 3" limitation makes it actually better in practice.
