Why do people feel that the Vanquisher is so broken?

I've always enjoyed the subject of weapon balance. It was one of my favorite things to discuss back in the old days of BSN. I feel I was rather objective when I would call things overpowered (Reegar, Harrier, Hurricane, Tac Cloak, etc.)

So on here, lots of people seem to feel that the Vanquisher is currently overpowered. OK.. that's fine, but I'd like to ask why that is. I don't actually believe it IS overpowered from a damage/TTK standpoint, at least not on console where we don't have pinpoint snap aiming like PC does with a mouse. If anything, the only thing that makes it overpowered is the weight. It shouldn't be a weapon that gives +100% recharge speed.. but other than that, it certainly doesn't feel like the above mentioned weapons.

If anything, calling the Vanquisher overpowered is more of an indictment of the poor performance of the rest of the pool.. including the Ultra Rares. It certainly doesn't have that 'I win' button feel that the Reegar and Harrier had in my opinion. I'd like to hear others thoughts on this.

Don't even forget with +25% clip size evos the Vanquisher has a 5 shot clip instead of 4 (for example with infiltrators). With turbocharge it can be made to 9 shots...
