Last time I played MP about a week ago, my weapon (black widow) worked fine and I was shooting/killing stuff fine. Today when I hop into the game (and I noticed this in SP I think after the update but I think it was the viper and I think an andromeda sniper weapon as well) that I have things in my site and shoot and it's as if the weapon was not even fired. At first I thought it was my aim perhaps at range, but then I realized it was happening with things that were not at range. More like mid range. They take zero damage but it's not my aim. They are definitely in my crosshairs. Is this some change in stability perhaps or some kind of bug?

if you have the cover pierce mod equipped, take that off and try again. Only thing i can think of. good luck otherwise.

It's a bug.I've had the Cyclone and Hurricane do the exact same thing.The gun's animation worked as if it was being fired but no ammo was coming out.
Edit: I had to quit both matches because I couldn't find a way to fix it.

It's intermittent for me. I can hit enemies at times. But often I cannot. I ended up using melee on my infiltrator more often that my sniper. Thanks for the replies!
