Anyone else notice this?
There's always one that won't start the game, so annoying.
I don't even vote to kick right away, I give them like 5 minutes (which feels like an eternity when you just want to play), and yet they just sit there unready.
I don't get it? Who are these people? Why start a game if you aren't going to play?!

I hear you. It's so bloody annoying! I usually only give them one minute before i vote to kick, then another minute beofre i leave to find a new game. It was better in ME3 when 3 of 4 marked as ready and it started a 30 second countdown before the game started, no matter if the last scrub is ready or not.

Better that than APEX 0 Hsol who is ready in a nanosecond... Just saying... English please? Better then the Apex level 0 Human Soldier who is ready in a nanosecond. Basically, someone who just started using the Human Soldier class who instantly clicks ready without looking at what he has equipped.

Whenever this occurs I always imagine that something outrageous has happened, like they've quickly gone to grab a drink and fallen down the stairs or they're battling a burglar in the other room.
Then they make the agonising crawl back, thinking to themselves, "I've got to ready up... I can't let... My team down". Their index finger is hovering over the button, one second away when they look up from the floor and realise they've been kicked.

While I enjoy the dramatic imaginations, the simple truth is that guy has went away for whatever else that requires his attention and forgotten about the game.

I am an impatient fella. When I join using quickmatch, if I have to wait one minute because someone is moving slow, I just leave the match and find one that is ready.

Who the hell waits in a lobby for 5 mims? Nobody, Jerry. Nobody! It's even worse when the idler gets two votes to kick and the host just sits there....I then give 10 to 15 seconds before I just leave. Bioware needs to implement a 2~3 min countdown. Don't click ready, you get booted.

I vote to kick as fast as I can breath. You do your customization in the landing page not in mission prep. Unless they have mic and say "sorry one sec" or something

I don't get it? Who are these people? Why start a game if you aren't going to play?! I agree its baffling how many people click "Join game" and then, apparently, go out for a walk or sit down for dinner or something. But why wait 5 minutes for them (that is an eternity, as far as I'm concerned)? With how fast moving into/out of lobbies is now vs ME3MP, I have no guilt about kicking people who don't ready up relatively quickly. Its nothing personal, we were ready and they weren't; when they are ready, they can just join a new lobby- no harm no foul.

If it's someone that just joined then yeah, they should have prepared their char, weapons etc before hand.
But, if we've just finished a game then I can understand the wait if they wish to place points if they leveled up. Or got enough credits to buy packs and may wanna switch around stuff if they got anything interesting. So in those cases I can wait 3-5 mins.

I give them 30 seconds and then vote kick. Or leave the lobby to find a new one. This ought to happen every so often, no hard feelings. The person might even have had a legitimate reason to go AFK unexpectedly for themselves.

Pretty lame you or the people who are being voted cannot see the votes pop up. What is the point in that? Is ME: A a safe zone now? Might light a fire under some people when they see that....once you find a good room in this game, you do not want to leave it. When I find a room that can do a match in 12-15 minutes I'm not leaving that. I will stay for a few more games than my bored, blank mind that begs me stop with the ME: A can take.

I don't get it? Who are these people? Why start a game if you aren't going to play?! I think, you might have just joined a lobby that finsihed a match. Someone left, you get to join as a replacement, but people are heading in the store and maybe check their new layout options, sadly, withoout quitting the lobby. It´s been like that in ME3MP too and I wish people would be more considerate about it, but it is what it is.
