A little early for all this doom and gloom? ME3MP had chances a full year before it ended up where it is today. Lets give them a little time to set up shop - bi-weekly updates seems to be what they are going for. I wish they would do bi-weekly updates (you keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it does). Having an update every 2 weeks isn't enough though. We have almost 50 weapons at launch and more being added every week. Sadly, even the new weapons are poorly balanced so that just means more time wasted trying to balance what they release each week. The only way to balance the weapons is to do smaller, more frequent balance changes just like ME3MP did, a.k.a. weekly balance changes. Anything short of the same support that ME3MP recieved will cause players to stop playing out of frustration, especially when all the new content designed to entice players to keep playing is poorly balanced.

Honestly I think they made all weapons weak due to the lack of armored enemies in MEAMP.
If we make weapons too powerful, it could one shot many non-shielded enemies. I think BW simply doesn`t want that since these non-shielded basic enemies and dogs are still the ones that make gold difficulty challenging.
I think that`s why we are able to carry two weapons of same class in MEAMP.
BTW, I am all in for buffing the guns. I just thought a little bit about why they are so underwhelming compare to ME3MP.

Bi weekly = Every other week. What you believe is largely irrelevant. The MP Devs have said on their stream that bi weekly updates was what they were going for. Based on that, and the fact that we got a MP change last week, I would expect something to be changed next week. (Not this week, since it's easter)

And I can't even blame them

They've done nothing about the lack of reload canceling(you can say what you want about it's exclusion, but it is a necessity to make single shot weapons with relatively long reload times viable, or even reasonable primary damage dealers.) This. I love my Isharay. I mean, I really love it. But I usually spend most of a match with my hand down my pants searching for my missing bullet.

Reloading is brutal on almost all guns.
I think BW really trying to emphasize the importance of Clip size. ....and it`s working...
I am taking Clip size expanding option over damage option in MEAMP most of the time now.

The problem is that some weapons are too effective while others practically waste your time. If Bioware wants to include ~50 weapons at launch then they have a responsibility to make each of them useful. I mean in ME3MP most weapons felt unique so that even if one was strictly better than another each served a distinct purpose. Heck, some kits made certain weapons god-like when almost no one would use it otherwise. Sadly, in MEAMP it's often more effective to punch the enemy in the face than to try and shoot them because the weapon balance is just so bad. The problem is tha so many things are broken that balance is a mess. I mean we all know that power combos are a joke but that is becuae the devs didn't test to make sure that power rank boosts detonation damage (no beta, good job Bioware). Chances are once they acknowledge/fix this issue that powers will be competely broken/OP but until that happens we have no way to know. What's sad is that some weapons actually need to be nerfed but that simply cannot happen util other weapons are buffed and powers are fixed. One last thing is that the difficulty increase from Bronze to Gold is negligible so if Bioware is going to fix the game they need to boost Bronze rewards (10k credits is a joke) and buff Gold enemies, but again this cannot be done until powers and weapons are balanced. See a trend here?

I just looked up biweekly and apparently it means once every two weeks or twice a week. How can it mean both? That's the English language for you.
