Look at that amazing UR sniper rifle damage. So good, the game had to kick me out for cheating when I got a kill.

Worst sniper in the game? Na bra. That´d be me. on Topic: Didn´t see a weak spot hit with that thing in the video, so can´t say if it becomes good with a nice weak spot modifier. It still has a high ROF, so might be a Vanquisher replacement if used right? Off host, even the Vanquisher does terrible damage, so... dunno. When judging any weapon it should only be done when hosting.

The weak point modifier is high actually. I'll toss a clip of it soon. It's also only rank one. Definitely not the worst in the game, and as a host+skill...definitely viable. Off host...garbo.

Inferno seems to have a high weakspot modifer boosting its normal damage to near viable level. Keep in mind this is a level 1 inferno, no boosters, and on an A-Insurgent (only 8% weapon damage bonus).
With that being said, it's only viable if you are consistently landing weakspot hits. If you're not, (off host/skill/whatever), it's inferior to the many other options out there.

Let's release another UR weapon. BUT make sure it is weaker than the Vanquisher. So people continue to spend real money to buy ammo mods, to cheat and do double damage to make other weapons viable.
Man, EA sure don't know how to balance to Beta test a game, but they sure know how to make money.

Here's a clip on soldier and invasion debuff to make it look like it's actually decent. No audio since off host sound bug is still a thing: So it'll probably be alright at level X on a good weapon damage modifier character/kit. GL getting it to rank X tho.

Interesting thread; I have been very curious about this weapon after seeing its similar DPS output to the vanquisher according to the Quick Dirty Gun DPS thread. One problem with the straight up DPS calculation is that it doesn't take into account the magazine size. And that's one area that makes the inferno inferior to the vanquisher. The inferno has what, 5 shots before overheating at 180 fire rate for roughly 400 damage per shot (at X), which is twice the firerate but half the damage per bullet of the vanquisher. So effectively they have almost identical DPS, but that's assuming they keep firing without reloading. But the problem with the inferno is that it has to cooldown after 5 shots (at half the bullet damage of vanquisher) so you end up having to reload much more often with the inferno, and that eats away at overall DPS over time (also known as sustained DPS).

It also doesn't account for the fact that vanquisher can easily reach levels where it is 1 shotting things... the inferno can't get there (just like the valiant).
