Time has told actually.

1. Bastiaan is a scripter and a mapper, you'll notice he describes every kit and a weapon as a 'concept'. This is what someone whom has no idea how all the parts fits together does, as they overview information that is out of their sphere and arrange in generalities. MEA will continue to be improved, and weapons someday may reach the kind of TTK most players expect them to, but it won't be while the MP game section is earning more money than SP, which is very likely the case right now. You'll also remember that he made Condor and London and was genuinely shocked that people hated these maps, and that the way the flow on them was set up meant there were literally no go killzones if the enemy was good at burst damage on gold or platinum and was pretty much in denial until showed video evidence. Meanwhile Corey was soloing gold for blog stuff.

2. BW is only obligated to support this game for 6 months. We got two extra DLC because the monetary gain was justified and Corey and Eric got people to A volunteer and B recycle assets into mix and match characters. The chances of this happening again are pretty remote as BW is already recycling SP models as 'premium content' right now.

3. Non snipes need about a 40% buff for me3 style TTK with current upgrades, and melee needs about a 50% buff (yes, buff) and everything but snipes also needs to be completely retiered. That is not something you can do in a week, and probably only in a month IF you spent the necessary time and manpower on it, ie cost.

4. Many people seem to think a Division or Warframe like overhaul is possible. There were 200 people working on Division's MP and Warframe's changes from grind to super grind to mostly kinda ok rngx3 grind took place over four years. This game does not have four years, it has six months possibly more IF MP continues to warrant attention via profits.

5. BW Montreal doesn't hate you, but they also don't give a fuck about you either; they've made a product. No more. No less.

Or more realistically, its the end of the tax season and EA didn't want to delay release into the next.

while I generally agree with you, I have to say that if you want developers to take feedback like yours more seriously, you should stick to the facts. the buff was not 5%ish. I am on phone and don't want to search and calculate again but it was more like 20-25%ish.

I have no way to know their investment or effort in this game. Frankly from a consumer stand point it does not matter to me. I don't care whose fault it is, I don't care if they care or not. All I do know is that it is unacceptable and since EA "owner" of the game that is who is to blame. The old saying "The buck stops here" that is where it stops right on EA's doorstep. It does not matter if it is the CEO's fault or the freaking janitors, there is NO valid excuse for this crap.

I will respond in the only way that makes sense. This will be the very last EA game I ever buy unless ALL long term reviews and, player input are very good.

I have learned from waiting for many games to improve that if you aren't enjoying it, it will never improve to the point that you will.

If you are enjoying it, it'll get a little better. If you are not, it won't be enough.

I mean, how much did ME3 or DAI change? New weapons and enemies and maps, sure. Tweaks to this or that. But the experience essentially stayed the same.

Sweeping changes are extremely rare, only happening as a last-ditch effort to save a dying F2P game, and even then it really only centers on monetization and screwing the players, not improving gameplay.

Something like doubling gun damage has never been done in any game, because it is insane.

That said, I am enjoying it.

Sometimes it happens for no good reason whatsoever with the result of the game becoming vastly different from what all the players loved. Thus making the players leave in disgust.

While I agree with most of what you said, what is wrong with the ME3 nostalgia?

I liked me3 a hell of a lot more and this is only half the fun. The game needs lots of improvement and fixing. I'll keep playing though, haven't played a ton yet tbh but that's only because I've been stuck in sp but I've mixed it up with mp along the way. Not gonna give up on it yet, me3 isn't gonna "come back", I mean it's still there sure but they'll probably close it soon... so I might as well move on to this new thing now.

And another thing... what is up with all these new usernames? I don't know all you people, I mean welcome ofc, you seem... lovely but where are all the oldies? I'm scared...
