When a player is spawning into the game, why are the enemies even able to target him? Wouldn't it make more sense to set the player's threat to -1000, or give the player immunity until he starts moving around?
I would honestly like to know the gameplay or technical reason why spawning-in players are ever being attacked by enemies.

Because Bioware needs you to use medigels, or you would otherwise hoard them.

Its good ol lag. The game registers you as being there on the host even if your machine still shows the loading screen. Ive had this as well. It is annoying, and yes a simple switch like 'wait till they move' would be good.

Nah, fixing this issue would create the most powerful exploit yet.

Nah, fixing this issue would create the most powerful exploit yet. How? "You can't be targeted when you spawn in until you issue any input command." seems pretty foolproof to me.

Because the people who made this game are completely stupid and didn't learn their lesson from the previous game when they made the exact same mistake which resulted in many complaints. Yet another disaster that shows they truly don't care about the game and are completely incompetent.

Enemies are programmed to attack characters on sight, whether it's raining, hailing, or shining or nothing.
