Does anyone know if this bonus is applied for a few seconds after breaking cloak or just one shot?. It says Grants a brief damage bonus when breaking cloak to attack.

as soon as you use your weapon, it breaks cloak(thus, if cloak breaks, u no longer get the damage buff compared to when u were cloaked)
it doesn't have that 2 second cloak break delay like tactical cloak
so unless you are using a single shot weapon, the damage is irrelevant
stealth grid is mainly used for survivability and objecives, not damage. IF you want damage, tactical cloak beats it easily.
objectives (such as uploads/devices) got 3x easier post-patch, so stealth grid really isn't that needed especially post patch.

IF you want damage, tactical cloak beats it easily. objectives (such as uploads/devices) got 3x easier post-patch, so stealth grid really isn't that needed especially post patch. On the other hand, Stealth Grid allows you to play more aggressively than Tactical Cloak. Jump in the middle of a bunch of enemies, hit everything that moves and before they can hit you back, pop your Stealth Grid to lose all aggro. There's also more than enough ammo box to refill your power cells and keep using Stealth Grid without much downtime. I never used Stealth Grid for damage, mostly never invest in the skill tree, but it is amazingly useful for offense. It's a lot like Saving Barrier that fully recharge your shield when you get on low health. You use both for survival and they give you the option to keep attacking when you normally would need to take cover. As for how it actually works, it does "break" cloak as soon as you do any offense move (weapons and powers) and it works exactly like Tactical Cloak. For weapons, only the first "shot fired" has the damage boost. This means shotguns would get it for every pellets of your first "shot" while Assault Riffles would only get it for their first bullet. Thus, Tactical Cloak and Stealth Grid are very good with high damage single shot weapons. For powers, the first "cast" gets the damage bonus. Consider initial damage from powers like the first bullet from a weapon, any damage over time will not be affected. For example, Lance and Shockwave would benefit from the cloak while Singularity and Pull wouldn't.
