I mostly fight outlaws but remnant seem easier.
I do not like fighting Kett because they have some bugs that make fighting them not fun, and this includes bugs on the enemies that can kill you with no hope of reviving.
So, the way this works out: most quick match squads I find are fighting outlaws. The remainder mostly fight "random" or remnant. (And all too often I find a hopeful group going for a random gold mission, with low apex numbers and low levels. Maybe they are all really good from playing the game in single player, but usually my experience has been that they wind up scrubbing the mission when it gets tough.)
Anyways, sometimes quick match seems to want to insist on matching me up with a squad which I do not want to participate in. So, then, I try a gold remnant which usually winds up with me being alone waiting for someone to show up. So then I try a gold outlaw and after trying a few times either I find a squad that seems like it can work (and which does not kick me out) or I give up and shut down the game and go do something else.
Edit: nullifiers seem easier to kill than berserkers and observers seem about like snipers in terms of difficulty (and recently I have mostly been playing human vanguard). Destroyers seem tougher than hydras, but they have that exposed core thing which can sometimes compensate (like: when this matters).

Remnants have Observers so you are being lasered 99% of the time with no room to maneuver, literally have to devote ALL efforts to taking down ALL observers before you can even ATTEMPT to fight anything else, and then Nullifiers preventing you from being in cover, EVER. ... I wish they could just port over the ME3 maps and enemies and player classes to andromeda. That would make me so happy. Call them hologram simulations if you have to justify it, but good GOD. Doesn't help that I just don't like any of the playable classes so far. Architect had potential but should have had both assault turrets and remnant vi to throw out from behind barricade (like I do in campaign). They are priority targets, just like Ravagers in ME3. In this sense it's a lot like ME3, all factions had units like that. You see one, you devote your attention to it since they are the ones that will kill you first. I don't see how this is a problem, mostly considering that you seem to enjoy ME3 factions, MEA factions are built pretty much in the same frame. There's the units that rush you out of cover, units that you need to kill fast or get rekt, units that it's better if you stay away and kill it for last. If anything Outlaws is the odd faction here since they lack a good priority target, BW should give them one or just buff one of the Outlaws unit to nightmare level, I'm in for anything that take a hit on farming. The only thing that Ravagers or Scions have that make them better enemies than an Observer is timing, you can just time your attack for when they are not shooting, while Observers are a constant stream of death. In this sense Nullifiers are actually really cool enemies, he announce that he will shoot and give you plenty of time to dodge, I kinda like them. Btw Nullifiers don't prevent you from being in cover, just move a little bit to the side when he is getting ready to shoot and there you go, you just dodge the bullet without the need to expose yourself, now kill the obser... oh shit, you're dead. The only problem I have with any faction is the oversized Brute magnetic sync kill. Even though it only happened to me once, it's something that I hoped wouldn't exist in MEA. Aside from that, Kett is fun to play against, definitely a hell lot more fun than or old friends, the collectors. Anyway, it's funny to see people complaining about MEA factions, it's almost like they forgot about phantoms and Dragoons gangbang, getting rekt by Possessed Scions/Preatorians (if the normal ones didn't do it yet), Geth staggerfest and other fun stuff. IMO there's nothing in MEA that come even close of being as annoying as those things, MEA enemies are actually quite easy to deal with because of MEA mobility, all factions will be a cakewalk compared to ME3 if they give some proper buff to power, combo and weapons that are lacking on the damage side of things..

That's not really a good comparison because you could totally ignore Ravagers to deal with the other enemies in ME3 if you wanted. Can't do that with Observers who are literally lasering you ALL THE TIME. My main thing is at least the old factions had variety and were fun to play against. Kett and Outlaws feel largely exactly the same, being mostly just regular soldiers with guns and attack dogs, but a few unique units on the later stages. Remnants all being spindly fliers makes them immune to a lot of tactics. Doesn't help that Andromeda is designed so you almost can't stay behind cover, have to ALWAYS be running around like a chicken with your head cut off.
