For me it is the
1)Vanquisher ( BIS ) 2+3) Raptor for long range, Equalizer for short range. ( might change Equalizer to Hurricane when i get it ) - Mainly for when i play Soldiers ( TurboCharge ). 4) Talon for my close range / melee classes ( might change to Pirhana when i get it ) 5) Revenant as a filler 5th atm. ( not likely to stay as 5th for long the moment i get some of the weapons i am still missing ).
Side notes :
Raptor and Equalizer didnt feel strong for me until i got the extended mag and started playing turbocharge classes and added ammo boosters for them.
Also I still dont have the Hurricane / Pirhana which i heard good things about.

1. Headbutt 2. Biotic punch 3. Omni Blade 4. Grenades 5. Vanquisher...even though the hit detection is god awful and even a direct headshot is a roll of the dice as to how much damage it will do, generally four shots will get the job done 1 round or another.

Unlocked VanquisherI last night.
...I used only 4 weapons for 40 hours...
So I will rank them as following
1. Talon 2. Charger 3. Raptor 4. Ruzad
Everything else felt quite underwhelming including Revenant and other AR on Turian soldier. Ruzad sucks because of reload... but it had potential for high burst damage whent it is needed.

I don't use the Vanquisher, but I rotate the Piranha, Valiant, Hurricane and Equalizer. Occasionally I will use the Revenant too. Not much choice in this game, sadly.

I don't have a Hurricane, but watching other players use it, it looks like it could be the best weapon for console versions of this game.
The Vanquisher is very powerful, but as others on this forum have eluded to, there seems to be hit detection issues with it and variable amounts of damage are applied to enemies.

Vanquisher (not OP). Best sniper rifle. Pirana. Best shotgun. Talon. Best pistol at mid/close range which happens to act like a shotgun. Raptor. Best conventional assault rifle while not being an assault rifle. Closest thing to the harrier we have. Melee.

If hitting your target were consistent, I think the Isharay would be the best burst damage weapon. But between network code (you do not even know what you will be facing when you finish pulling the trigger) and some other issues, I think we will have to wait some time before it realizes its potential.
Meanwhile, other weapons are situational. Reload time is one big issue (and there are also things like range limitations, ammo reserves and being able to shoot around corners and so on which really get into your character's strengths and weaknesses to balance out the weapon's strengths and weaknesses).
But it also depends on what you have unlocked so far.
For example, if you are a melee character, you are going to want a pistol or a shotgun - no bayonets for assault rifles in the far and distant future, probably because of treaty arrangements - so you can mod in a melee optimizer and if your luck is strange you might have an X for pistols but something much weaker for shotguns.
