Simple question. Can overload detonate multiple enemies at once while it's fully charged? I prefer not to waste my points on something I can't make.

No, not as near as I can tell. I took the double Incinerate option on the Kroeng to prime more things, and have only seen one explosion go off when I've tried a charged overload. Possible that it is hard to see in the explosion and kill feed, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

Only the initial Overload Target gets Detonated. Chain Overload does nothing.
This also calls into question whether or not it spreads Tech Sabotage from Passive abilities.

I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't. To the great surprise of us all, I'm sure, the debuffs from tech powers seem to be wonky. I've been messing around with the power/weapon passive that gives an extra 35 percent damage from elemental sources when a target has a status effect on them (it's in the Hengi and Kroengi tree). It does, to some extent, apply to weapon damage when an Ammo type is loaded. But ammo can't proc the ability, only powers can. Based on what I found plus a couple of vids I found of a YouTuber testing the same, it appears that once ammo procs, it overwrites the power proc, and guns lose the extra damage. So it may pair best with level 1 ammo to minimize the ammo proc. Wow. Makes me wonder why take Overload past rank three or four now. I think on the KroEng, I may take it to 4 and split it either with Rage (probably going to take the Turret up to 6 for the flamethrower for more primes). I don't intend on using melee with the KroEng, there's better Krogans for that, so I don't think Rage needs to go all the way up. Taking it to 4 gets it another recharge bonus, and since it's got a longer CD than incinerate, it could definitely use that. But beyond that I don't yet see good reasons to max it.

It helps my Krogan Engineer since you can have a total of 3 detonations. Freeze combo from the turret, Fire combo from Incinerate, and Tech combo from Overload (only happens if you upgrade Incinerate to detonate).

I take Detonate on Incinerate for KroEngi since that allows for Tech Bursts, which are useful in and of themselves, as well as working against Shields.

Has anyone tested if Tech Sabotage works on chained enemies? I'm currently leveling my Human Engineer and that was the only reason I took Overload to rank 4. If it doesn't then I guess Omni-Link (Turret 5b) would be the better option for cooldowns.
It's sad when half the descriptions are vague and half the skills don't work so we really have no clue what is going on most of the time. At least we know more than the dev team, right?
