Hello. I put together a survey about the state of MP, guns, hopes for the future and so on on a Reddit sub dedicated to this sort of thing. A few people in the relevant threads there asked me to link it on unBSN to see if this community agrees with that one. I came from BSN 600 years ago, so that seemed fair to me. Here it is. Feel free to ignore this post, heap scorn upon it, or respond with memes/non-sequiturs if unBSN is anything like old BSN. The survey link is still active, if you want to take it, although I probably won't be updating the results page any time soon. Also, if these communities are feuding, I hope only that this does not cause a virulent turf war; or that, if it does, nothing bad happens to me personally. Goodbye. |

I pretty much agree with the majority vote here, certain guns should maybe be slightly higher or lower but overall I think it's pretty spot on and it would be a good idea for the devs to take a look at this.

Is the ME3Coop subreddit somehow massively different from the rest of Reddit? Because this is the third or fourth time I've seen it suggested that they are somehow free of memes, trolls, anonymous assholes ranting about things, etc.

People say it's OP because is the only gun that can actually kill things with few shots. But here's the thing: it's a sniper rifle, so duh, obviously it has to be powerful. It one shots only in bronze, maybe if you have Vanquisher X and aim for the head it one shots in silver too. It looks like that gun was added last and didn't suffer from the lolbalance all other weapons have. So it feels out of place. People fear things out of place so they call it "OP". |

Black Widow does that too, so basically it's just people remembering the Vanquishers bugged headshot modifier, and since then spew their gospel. Vanquisher X does less damage than Black Widow 1, so off-host, the Black Widow is the superior weapon. |

Even at X, the advantage the Black Widow has over Vanquisher is just 81 dmg. Vanquisher is lighter, has higher ROF and a bigger magazine. Even with the fixed weakpoint multiplier, it's still the better gun. Which is nothing short of insane, considering that it's one rarity tier lower. I am really seriously hoping that they will do it justice and make the BW into the OHK headshotting machine it was meant to be. And I'm not even a sniper rifle guy. |
