Had something weird happen to me recently. Just finished a match and the loading screen came up before you see you point totals and stuff, it froze for a bit then I got an error message saying something like you have to exit your multiplayer and restart. If you bought any andromeda points they will be provided to you when you reset. Went to the bathroom and totally forgot about it, the I bought some points. Went out for a smoke and when I got back the same message was on the screen. Thinking I fucked up and wasn't going to get my points I backed out to the main menu. Went back to multiplayer and low and behold not only did I get my points, I got double the points I had paid for. 4300 for the price of 2150 lol. Haven't seen this message since so I can't really confirm if this still works or if it was a fluke but it might be something worth looking into...

I've only gotten that error screen once in the 20-30 hours I've been playing multiplayer. Who knows if it will ever happen again, but if it does I might just try the 3250 points. |

I would seriously go straight to EA customer service with that, because as catastrophy said, this is definitely something you can get banned off origin for. Plus 9/10 times, EA support will say to keep the points anyway and you're covered against any sort of ban.

Try at your own discretion... Store purchases are checked server side, doesn't take a math degree to run a query against what you spent your points on, and compare it with the amount of points you purchased. The ball named "Mea culpa" is on your half of the field if you do nothing, so I would highly encourage you, or anyone else that gets a glitch like that, to go right to EA Customer support on chat and report it. If they tell you they can't do anything about it, thats fine - get the transcript and give them a topbox in the survey and be on your merry way. Not doing anything, and using the points is placing yourself in a poor position in case the hammer comes some time in the future. |

Meh... If they ban me then so be it. Don't know if I'll ever get the chance to try this again but if the opportunity presents itself I will definitely try it. Could be such a random occurrence that it will never be duplicated by anyone. Who knows... just putting the information out there.
