I'm working on the mastery's and came upon a wall on tech mastery. Stealth grid and shield boost will not increase in points. Both are maxed out in the skill tree and I use them around my teammates the entire round. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug similar to the detonations counter where it was not counting them? Is there a specific part of the skill tree I am to activate? On stealth grid I have weapon boost when teammates break stealth, which should count towards the stealth grid counter.

You get support score (20 points) for every nearby ally who receives the effect.
Edit: Just checked my stats and stealth grid is clearly bugged. It's at 0 even though I spammed it at extraction. Shield boost tracks correctly.
Edit 2: The shield boost from the salarian operator is the one you want to use, not the angara insurgent.

All I can really offer is anecdotal evidence from my own experience, but playing alot of the Insurgent, I have been noticing the same thing. I don;t think your build breaks the amount of points you get, but not entirely sure. I just assumed "support" type classes were not meant to get a lot of points, but I'll often shield boost near an ally low on health and not see the support points tick. Can't speak for stealth grid, but if SB is "working as intended, a bump in support points would be fantastic.

Edit 2: The shield boost from the salarian operator is the one you want to use, not the angara insurgent. Actually you can get shield boost points from using the Angara Insurgent. I don't have the Salarian Operator but have just used the Angara Insurgent and have about 1800 points from using shield boost (going to take a long time to get to 50K). I also have 0 in stealth grid even though I've used it on other players. Perhaps they have to take a certain amount of hits for it to register. Lots of bugs with these challenges it appears. I finished Combat Mastery and it gave me another Biotic Mastery award which I already had. If I try to accept the reward it immediately crashes my game since it must then detect that Biotic Mastery has already been awarded. I can only hope it will get fixed at some point. |
