It's got some warts, for sure, but I am on my 3rd playthrough currently with over 200 hours of playtime....so I had to pick the "love" option. It's leagues better than DAI (to me) so it's definitely a good game, even with some flaws. I'm a big fan of Inquisition, but I like this a lot more. Of course, I'd like it even better than that once its glaring technical issues get worked out.

Also in Andromeda > Inquisition. Need to make a poll, lol. J/k. I hope DA4 is more reasonable and accommodating of different play styles,

I love Andromeda a lot of the time.
But I hate it it every time I see an ascendant.
I hate it again 10 minutes later when the ascendant is still alive because my last two effort to Cobra it post-orb were defeated by its stupid floppy animation.
I hate it every time I see the Archon. My daughter's toy poodle looks more menacing. I mean that LITERALLY, not figuratively. _CORYPHEUS_ was a more interesting villain.
I hate it for a couple minutes every time I go to do a mission in the Kadara badlands and realize I have to pass through two loading screens and then run through the slums. I hate it almost as much every time I go to open a door in the Kadara market.
I hate it every time somebody mentions napping for 600 years.
I hate it every time I see a close-up of Cora's face in a cutscene and realize she ALWAYS has the same little grin, no matter the circumstance. Seriously Cora, your plastic surgeon really gave you too much botox. You should sue.
I hate it every time I run the short mission with the "other" twin and find myself wondering WHY THE FUCK does it take two clips worth of headshots to take out one Kett Mook. Who thought this up? Who thought it would be fun or engaging? Seriously, FUCK YOU Bioware Montreal level designers. Fuck. you. (Sorry, just did this. Done it three times now and It _REALLY_ irritates me. Not only is it lame gameplay, It just DESTROYS the dramatic purpose of the mission.)
Come to think of it, I sort of hate it every time I listen to Liam's banter on Habitat 7. Liam grew on me over time, but the first time on Habitat 7 all I could think was "What the %^&* was Alec thinking when he recruited this yob? As a member of _the_ RECON team, no less?"
I hate it every time I realize I've run about 30-40 MP missions since the last time I opened reward boxes...and now I have to spend a preposterous amount of time opening 6 dozen or so one by one. Add a damn "Accept all" button.
I hate it every time I think about weapon balance in Multiplayer.
I hate it every time I think about the menu interface. ESPECIALLY in the multiplayer lobby.
I guess I love the game a lot AND hate it a lot. Kind of like a girlfriend with borderline personality disorder.

It's leagues better than DAI (to me) so it's definitely a good game, even with some flaws. I'm a big fan of Inquisition, but I like this a lot more. Of course, I'd like it even better than that once its glaring technical issues get worked out. DA2 was actually my favorite DA game, just judging on how many times I played through it, which was more than double my DAO runs. Yes, I have the unpopular opinion. My problem with DAI was I hated the characters, with the exception of Cullen and Cassandra, and I really hated the Inquisitor. If I could have played as Hawke or my Warden it might have been a little more tolerable, but there was still that awful story....and Cory.....and Solas. Yeah, there was probably just no saving it for me. One of the things I always adored about the Dragon Age universe is that elves were a downtrodden and underdog race, which made them refreshing and more interesting to me than the way they are normally portrayed in other fiction. But wait! It turns out they are special snowflakes after all. I detest the character of Solas so much. Anyway, enough of that rant. I don't absolutely love Ryder as a PC, but the enjoyable companions and other characters in the game make her at least tolerable. The Archon is a little silly, but not the absolute joke I found Cory to be, so overall I find MEA to be a good game. If it were technically perfect with no bugs or glitches and nicely polished when it released (including the animations and faces/CC) I think it would have gotten a much better reception and reviews overall. I'm actually looking forward to more of this game through dlc, and I hope we get lots more content with our companions. I will happily pay for more.

I played DA2 the most also. The entire ensemble was super entertaining to me. Snarky F!Hawke with Varric and Isabella is my favorite combo.

I'm still at a strong like but probably down to a 7.5 or 7.7 from the 8.1 I was at earlier.
I think with the new class/skill system and being able to change my play style during a play through is going to affect my desire to replay the game multiple times like I did the OT.
Then again that might be a blessing in disguise as I'm not sure how much real life time I'd have to replay a game with this much content anyway.
One thing I will say is that for the first time ever I actually enjoy playing a vanguard. I could never get into them in the OT but I am having a blast even though I die quite a bit.

yeah, I am too DA2 fan. I actually even liked most of the cast in Inquisition, and my Inquisitor, but that's about it, and I did not like how it ended. People have this problem with MET, I have it with Inquisition.
Overall, I felt like a lost of endings/consequences in DA frnachise came out of the left field (remember that banter with your companion in the beginning of the game about his sister that had nothing to do with your relationship? Well, that's why he dumped you 40 game-hours down the road, and there is no way to change it. Huh? Should have read a walkthrough?) , and I did not seem to jive with the choices they expect me to make to get if not good, then at least definitive endings. I feel like I have to pre-read the "Major Decision Points" before starting the game with DA, or I am not gonna like it. Not that it would have helped with the Trespasser. And I really prefer to play games by ear, doing what I want... and usually it works out alight. But not in DA.
In this respect, Andromeda is completely different from both MET and DA franchise. You get exactly what you bargained for, AND it is a happy ending. I was like... really? Me? Both a hero, AND in a happy relationship? And in a good health? And nobody died, not even the fish? Okay, okay, keep breathing, I am sure there is a cutscene coming that... nope. All is well. I still need a few days to come to terms with actually being handed out a happy ending after four games (MET counted as one game) in a row with at best "bitter-sweet" outcomes.

I like MEA, sure it has issues but the 3x4 system of theirs kinda ruins it for me. I want replay but dont at the same time. Im hoping they patch in more slots available at the same time. If not im done with the game. Will rate it a 6.5/10 as i find the game play to be severely limiting.
So gameplay limitations bring me to a meh on the game. There is no indepth mechanics or deep combinations to go through. I enjoyed the me3 build sections and DAI's combat and gameplay forum sections cause there was a lot to try and experiment. Now just 3 abilities available kills off any kind of depth. There are no more class builds nothing worth warranting a replay.
I rated witcher as a solid 8/10 game cause it had solid writing and quests etc but it also lacked in the gameplay department and so far i haven't had the feeling of replaying that game and its DLCs again. While i generally like to replay bioware games cause they are fun but that is not possible atm. Hopefully and i really hope they fix this particular issue.

Love it. It has flaws but none ruined my enjoyment of the game.

For a lot of the game I've hovered kind of in the middle, like it but not love it. Having now finished the main game, I've veered further to the 'love it' side. I stalled the priority missions in favour of doing all the side quests and getting the viabilities up to 100% across the board - I think this was the cause of a certain level of ambivalence I had towards the game, as when I resumed the priority missions and propelled towards the end, my experience was a lot more positive. In the end, the final boss mission was good, without being great, but I really enjoyed where the characters, and Ryder ended up, and I really liked how they structurally dealt with the 'end' of the game. In conclusion, I love the characters. Not as much as the trilogy characters yet, but there's plenty to work with, and I love Ryder. I think I may actually be over Shepard! As others have said, there are clearly issues with the game, but for me, the vast majority of these are technical issues that will likely/hopefully be fixed through patches. Essentially, I enjoyed the story, I'm cool with the locale, I like the crew/ship, and I adore my avatar in the game. Can't wait for the DLC, and hope BW confirm the next game being MEA2 ASAP.

I enjoy it. As much as ME1. I hope the sequel will break free from the trilogy and be something different.

Where is the option of: "It's not completly fucked up but there are major flaws with writing/characters/animations/bugs etc." ?

If I absolutely had to be so binary? Well sure, 'love it'.
But 'love it' less than any other ME game. Or at least loved less than ME2-ME3 (not ME1 because its finally showing its age big time to me).
