-Ability to bring up a list of all in-game friends, showing what group they were in.
-Ability to go to 'players met, and see names of the people you just played with.
-Ability to show a ranking with only people on your friends list.
-Ability to see what type of group friends are in, when inviting friends.
Why why why would you just scrap all that great functionality for grouping up with friends??
Currently I have to use the PS4 menu to see what my friends are actually doing, then memorize the names of those not in a group, then bring up the lobby invite menu.
(Edit - all this 'spying' functionality exists already in the PS4 friends menu. And people who dont want to share that info can turn it off. But yea.. you can see whatever the people on your friends list are doing.. on their PS4, that is. You can even bring up a history of what they played and when etc..
