yes, i agree i also started a thread about this MP not beeing Coop if people is always running and shooting, then, where is coop? is cooperative only because players can't attack each other? no bsn.boards.net/thread/5202/where-cooperation?page=1and the new retrieval objective is useless, players can run and use jetpack carrying the package, wtf in two jumps you are already in the extraction zone cover is useless shields (sentinel's) are useless, the enemies always sorround us

in my opinion. That was a stated goal by BioWare to promote team play, now if you are playing with friends as opposed to pugging it is better. They wanted to discourage camping play by how the enemies were designed which is fine but due to the make up of the maps and the up and down mobility once players are flushed out they go willy nilly all over the place. You simply don't have time to worry about were your team mates are going, you have to get out and fast while battling. The up and down levels also are a separator as well. Because enemies are so aggressive and things are very fast paced it is tough to use good team synergy (as in two biotics running around together and booming things.) Even if you are trying to stick together at some point you are flushed and go in different directions. This is not really a big bitch thread as much as an observation. no shit. it's like 1 of the 100 issues i have with this game.

In ME3MP, I always went to the other side of the map away from the rest of my team. Ensured much moar kills and points for me. Screw teamplay. I also did all of the objectives myself - better ensure something is always done correctly. Also, Pugs constantly brought Tech characters into biotic lobbies and vice versa - which meant even more reason to stay away from them as much as possible. There was no real teamplay in ME3 either, except when playing with friends. And there's your problem solver for ME:AMP. Play with friends or expect to have way less fun. So you were a poor player in other words? You should have soloed every single match if that was your tact and out look. The true good players in these games are the ones who wreck things and also keep their team alive if they are the most talented player. And as much as people love to dump all over pugs, many of them are keeping the enemy off your ass so you can kill things at your leisure, especially if a player is an infil I should have put that in *Sarcasm* brackets, my mistake. The bad general mood in this forum has taken its toll on my sanity. I've always worked with pugs as good as possible, picking them back up instantly if they died in my vicinity - but most of the time they just ignore everything around them except the big bad boss target directly in front of them. I doubt that it will be much different this time in general. The cramped map design adds to that chaos.

If this game forced you to play certain classes for synergy it would be shit shittier. Playing with random people would be total shit. For evidence see any game that requires class/character synergy. This is what made meme effect 3 fun, you could really do whatever. But there is almost no synergy at all. Whether you have classes that work well together or not. I get into a game as a biotic, I see another biotic, working at least semi together you get far better net results but it is very tough to keep two players together in this game. By it's nature it filters you apart. There is synergy in lots. Everyone can detonate everything. It's just that your detonator is on CD while the priming window is open. And when the detonator is up it gets used for CC since noone cared to prime anything - for the meagre amount of damage explsoions deal.
