The patch did add a skip option for between plenty travel, to some digree, just not warping from 1 system to another.
I wish they would have combined the navigation UI from me1 and 2. Mark where you want to go on the big map then tap a button to hint you, if you want, but not have to if you don't need help. The damn bar on the top of the screen is more of an annoyance than a help.
They need a mute option to mute SAM's non-critical info. I don't need to hear that I'm entering/leaving a hazertious area constantly, unless I'm going to die. I also don't need to hear when/where/how to mine constantly either.

The ability to organise the journal. You could arrange missions in alphabetical order in the original trilogy. Now it's a pain checking which missions you've done. This, though I'd prefer to have all quests organized by location. Obviously it does this to a certain degree, but there's been more than a few times where a quest asks you to travel to somewhere, or complete a task, and its not listed under the applicable planet or location. As near as I can tell, quests are categorized according to some combination of where/how they originated and importance rather than where you need to go to complete them. I'm guessing the reason for that is because quite a few of the questlines have multiple steps that need to be done in multiple locations - and they don't 're-file' them as you complete each step, since that could be even more confusing. I do wish there was a way to easily check quest availability per location without having to actually travel there.

The AVP rewards/strike missions system badly needs to be overhauled. It should be accessible from forward stations or at least from outposts. At the very least, you should be able to board the Tempest without leaving the planet.
It just doesn't make any fucking sense. Surely Ryder could just tell someone on the Tempest via comm to send a strike team somewhere? Most of all, why do my scientists stop working until I press a button on a laptop on the Tempest?? Or why can't Ryder tell someone on the Tempest to press that button once an hour? This is really bad design.
In Skyrim, if you were married your partner would earn 100 gold per day which you'd get when speaking to them. But if you didn't come home for five days, they'd give you 500 gold, not 100. They wouldn't have stopped trading after one day.

fast travel: ideally - between planets.
Travelling between planets was the only thing I really hated about this game, after 200 hours.
It got so bad at the end, there were even a couple of quests that made you go back and forth from one planet to another, just to touch base with someone.
Completely ridiculous.
They should know better than that. No RPG developer should be designing quests that way.
If you haven't got a good idea for a quest, don't add anything.

Sure, more romances or fixed graphic is important, but there are some more urgent things that just HAVE to be added to the game. For me it's fast travel: ideally - between planets, but AT LEAST a button to "jump on Tempest". It's getting so tiresome when you have to travel within one quest that you want to see in full in one sequence (because it's urgent, as quest-log says) between 3 different planets in different clusters with talks on Nexus and Tempest in the process! The space map is beautiful and all that, but this is what exploration for. At least the travel could be added after you install outposts - would be even a little logical. Sadly, the fact that you and many other people would like to do this is a sign of how badly they designed the space travel part of this game. There were similar delays in the trilogy, but somehow a feature like this never seemed like something I needed. Space travel ought to be interesting and surely it's not rocket science to make it interesting. Oh, wait ... Its not that the space travel is bad...its quite good. There is just too much of it. For example, in ME2, with a few exceptions, (the Citadel, Illium), once you were done on a planet, you were pretty much done. Space travel felt part of the normal progression. And often you could double up on missions, like doing both Mordin AND Grunt's loyalty missions on Tuchanka. PeeBee's loyalty mission alone spans 5 planets and 10+ load screens.

I actually prefer that the rewards aren't auto-claimed, because if it did, you'd have the notifications popping up on a regular basis no matter what you were doing. That would annoy the shit out of me, especially as one who's an avid screen capture player. I didn't even like it when war table operations notified you when they were completed in Inquisition.

I see what you mean, but I don't think it'd be necessary to notify you of anything. You also weren't notified in Skyrim when your wife/husband earned money. I think that's perfectly fine. I'd like to have either the same system (access the AVP computer and get 100 or 300 or 1,000 research/whatever depending on how long it took you to check--or simply having all the research points gained when accessing the research computer without checking anything. Like resource gathering in strategy games, you just get it and that's it.

Have the M and J keys both open and close the map and journal. Go to the Tempest w/o leaving the planet. Add a mini-map. Change the default key, or allow disabling the console. Journal organization options. Put down quest markers for all possible locations for certain quests like the one to scan angaran bodies, or disable kett consoles.
Most of the things I want are just quality of life changes. I of course want them to continue working on fixing bugs, like the improved shields for nomad, or earning your badge, which I cannot complete due to bugs.

There should be an option to go straight to the badlands/slums of Kadara from the galaxy map instead of having to go to kadara port first and THEN go to it. And what is up with the long duration to open all the door sin Kadara port, too? But, yeah, getting anywhere in Kadara is awful. Land ship, move to console to take elevator *loading screen*, run across a pointless open area with geysers. Open a door. Run forward and slightly right. Open another door. Run across another pointless stretch of land to the forward station. Call the Nomad. *loading screen* Now you are finally ready to go somewhere. Dumb, in my opinion.

I just would like to see a few small improvements and additions:
- quick save option - a few more options in character editor (eyes, noses, eyebrows) - option to skip tempest landing/starting video - option to select/customize your squad members weapons & armor

Not auto-claim, sum it up. IE after 3 hours there should be 400 milky way research points to be claimed, but no notification it is done and no notification that you just got 100 points after 45min. You go to AVP and claim whatever was accumulated sofar.
