Anyone else disappointed with the "Ryder Rustle"?

It's really disappointing. BioWare could have taken the time to do something different. Give Ryder his own bad dance if that's a trend they want to continue. Just don't copy/paste and call it a day... This isn't nostalgia. This is lazy development.

Adding this for no reason

I didn't dance until the end of the game on Meridian my first go around. The Shepard Shuffle wasn't surprising and I thought it was funny. However, humor quickly evaporated when, on my second run, I danced in Kadara's seedy club and discovered that the Shepard Shuffle wasn't just an endgame easter egg. It was at this time that I became disappointed, I wanted Ryder to be a great dancer.

FemShep was pretty good in ME1, then Sheploo's meme dancing got transferred to her in ME2 and it became a thing that the Commander couldn't dance. I wasn't too upset by that, however, as having Shepard be bad at something added to the character. This isn't needed for Ryder and shouldn't be a ME protagonist thing.

I wish it had strictly been an endgame easter egg.

What do you mean "Ryder Rustle?" Its the same damn animation.

"Hey guys, let's call this one the Ryder gunshot!"

It would be cool if it went like this:

MEA - We expect them to be 'better than Shepard' but really they're generally on par on average.
MEA2 - We see them learn how to be better in a way we can enjoy and appreciate
MEA3? - We see them clearly dancing better


I'm talking about dancing. But also a lot more.


EDIT: It'd be cool for a continued Reyes romance Ryder picks up and goes along with the dancing with more talent and gusto.
