It should be noted that ME1 was also "rushed" or at least had a deadline to meet and they had to cut a planet to accommodate that. Still awesome though!

I agree with the idea that companies should not release games that are not ready to be released. The animation is greatly improved since the patch but still not perfect.... Despite that I am truly enjoying the game and hope Bioware/EA improves in this regard next time around.

"You're taking a dump right on their [players'] head, and you're just saying 'Oh, it's okay. We're gonna release a patch and that will clean that poop right off your face there.'" Hahaha. Honestly the only part of the game I feel like that about is the CC. The animations and stuff are bad yeah, but really Bioware should feel worse about that then I do. It just makes me feel like they don't even care enough about their own game to worry about fixing obvious issues. I can still play just fine with it, and even laugh at it a little. For someone that actually worked on the game though they should be pretty embarrassed having their name on a product released in that condition. At least they would if they have any sense of pride in their work.

This will probably be a problem until technology reaches the point they can build games as rapidly as the public wants them.

"You're taking a dump right on their [players'] head, and you're just saying 'Oh, it's okay. We're gonna release a patch and that will clean that poop right off your face there.'" I wonder if he felt the same way for the Witcher and Fallout 4? I know I didn't. After Fallout 3, I couldn't believe how terrible the launch was and Bethesda was pretty quiet. The GECK came out and one by one my problems disappeared, but it wasn't through Bethesda. All of the DLC that were released afterwards, went through the same process. However, the modders pwned Bethesda at their own game. I thought I would preorder New Vegas. Holy crap. What a mess that was. I bought the DLC way after Obsidian signed off on it. The best damn DLC of the series. Then Fallout 4. I waited until the modding community had put out their unofficial patches and fixes. That's when you know, it's good to go. Until then... wait. Witcher 3? I didn't get it because I was patch-testing Inquisition and I could give a crap about Geralt. Amazing game though. Amazing.

I wonder if he felt the same way for the Witcher and Fallout 4? Who knows. I've never heard of this guy before, but like OP said he doesn't seem to be a "hater" bashing BioWare just for lulz. I like this game, and judging by the number of negative threads around here it appears that I like it more than the average user of this forum. It's one thing to have unpredictable bugs, even massive ones, that they simply couldn't test for. With hundreds of thousands of people playing the game, it's inevitable that some of them will discover weird bugs that were not caught by a hand full of people in BioWare's QA department. It's frustrating, yes, but perfectly understandable. Ignoring problems that were entirely preventable (the banter bug they were familiar with and could've, should have, checked for but didn't) or aesthetic weirdness (uber-weird animations, creepy dead eyes) that was definitely seen by someone or, even more tragically, many someones at BioWare who evidently deemed it acceptable even though it clearly was not, is simply inexcusable.

Ehem sorry? I am just one person an ran into a dozen bugs that made me either restart the game, reload or grind my teeth. And other have the very same problems. Examples: I made Coras loyalty mission, in the cutscene Kallo says a few things, but I saw just his head. But I forgot to pick the right squadmember, so reloaded. This time the cutscene was fine, Kallo there in his seat, head and body and arms. This kind of bugs is actualy very hard to track. But then we have this minor conversation (thats the one where the cam just zooms in closer to Ryders head, whereas major conversations are those where the cam switches all the time to show us all speakers) bug, where the NPC we talk to keeps on his default routine and walks out the screen and Ryders keeps starring at a wall and speaking to it. Also having other NPCs walk into point of view, etc. This actualy happens 90% of the time, so... no chance they missed that. I think, they decided to "release as is and fix later" rather then "delay to fix before release".

Though if I heard that there was supposed to more Noveria, I might raise an eyebrow in judgmental disgust. The wide open, barren surfaces. The mystery of what lies right around the next mountain. The only planet I really felt that from in ME:Andromeda was the first planet.

It is interesting right around launch DAI got delayed a month. Mea did not get that same courtesy. The thing that most bothers me is what Raizer says in the vid, that with Mass Effect 3 Bioware rushed the game out, then fixed their short comings with a patch, extending the ending. Then Mass Effect Androemda gets rushed out, and Bioware once again puts a patch out to fix their short coming, the animations and cut scenes, and the eyes of most characters to become more lively and realistic. In both cases, if Bioware would have delayed the game for even a week, the end product's quality would have been much better, and actually more worth the $60 players spend on the game.
