It is quite amusing to see people write 'nothing'. I don't know how anyone, for example, could be driving the Mako and think 'yeah, the driving physics on this knocks the nomad for six!".
I hope they are wearing thick enough gloves to cope with their edges.

If there's anything I'd miss, it would be combat, sort of. I really like the Jetpack and Biotic Charge has been great ever since ME2. Basically, I'd miss the mobility in combat. Other than that.... nothing much honestly. I like the music more in the trilogy, I like the story and characters more in the each game in the trilogy, even though it wasn't a big "open" world, I liked the landscapes more in the trilogy (the locations were more varied, in ME2 and ME3 at least), and so on and so forth.
So, while I did enjoy my time with Andromeda, I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as ME1, ME2, or ME3. It could also have something to do with the fact I've experienced more glitches, bugs, and bad design choices in Andromeda than I did in the entire ME trilogy. Glitches, bugs, and bad design choices that ranged from small annoyances to game-breaking frustrations, and I seem to find new ones every time I play...

I hope they are wearing thick enough gloves to cope with their edges. I hated the Mako, and yet at the same time, I wouldn't miss the Nomad (This doesn't mean I'm against the Nomad, I just wouldn't miss it if they took it out, or rather if they made it so the Nomad didn't have to be used as much as it was in Andromeda). I'd rather Bioware didn't make the maps as big as they did in Andromeda for the next game. I'd rather they give us more locations that were smaller in size, but with more variety in the landscapes.

The jet pack/biotic equivalent. I went on ME2/3 earlier to record stuff and kept forgetting that I couldn't dash to the side. I died. Being able to run anywhere and without stopping is a blessing - traveling on the Citadel especially felt so slow.

Most everything. Mobility, profiles, environments, even the storytelling. I like the trilogy, and I'll certainly play through it again someday, but I really like the direction that BioWare is going. Filling out a main story with side quests is a good direction, they just need to keep improving on it.

I'd definitely say the mobility and the changes to the class system.

Jetpacks. The lack of a level cap. Having all those powers. Weapon modding and crafting. A lot more things don't come in my mind atm.

You know I don't think I've actually thought about this question when comparing the two. An interesting way to look at it.
Gameplay: I think the jetpack and the mobility options it offers seems to be a common thing a lot of people would miss when going back. I'd imagine going from the Nomad to the Mako wouldn't be too favourable on our old set of wheels. Melee options would be missed, especially with only ME3 introducing the omni-blade and I liked the addition of melee weapons in MEA. The load times are better in Andromeda, skippable space transition scenes have only made that more clear.
Characters: I thought Jaal was the standout companion, i'd miss the anagarans overall. Peebee, Vetra and Drak were all decent but if I'm honest the crew isn't quite on the level that Shepard's companions were, so it wouldn't be that long before Liara, Garrus, Tali and Wrex reminded me why i like them more. That's even before getting to the better villains.
Story: This is the one where I think the OT just outright blows the new one out of the water. Difficult to see the Kett as anything but a poor man's Collector and Archon as pretender to Saren. To say nothing of the race for Meridian being a little too similar to the race for the Conduit.

I hope they are wearing thick enough gloves to cope with their edges. The Mako has its charm. I can't speak for PC or XBox, but I've come to the point where I can drive that bouncy sonofabitch with my thumbs tied behind my back so I can well compensate for its wacky physics. It's the Hammerhead I don't give a spit about though. But yeah, it makes me miss the Nomad something fierce.

The number one thing I would miss. Mr/Ms/Mrs Fiend. He/she is one awesome character. The way he/she grabs my Ryder, bites Ryder and then throws Ryder to the ground like a piece of crap. excellent.

I'd like to add to my earlier post, just 'cause I got out of a pretty hairy fight on the Kett flagship not long ago.
I'd miss the squad AI from ME:A. There are times when it breaks and they do stupid shit like stand 2 feet from cover and let themselves get killed, but when it works, it's a goddamned dream.
I don't know how many times I've primed an enemy for a combo, and just as I was about to detonate, in comes Cora and BOOM. Or I was plinking away at some Ascendant's Orb on the other side of the building, and I hear Drack's roar RIGHT BEHIND ME...turn and he's already smashed in the skull of some Chosen who'd snuck around my flank.
Or Peebee Pulls that annoying ass enemy up from behind cover so I can either pop a round between his eyes or detonate the bio combo.
I thought I'd miss being able to control my squad's powers. Um. No. And I mean HELL no. If having this level of squad AI requires me to lose control of my squad? I'll take it in a heartbeat.

-No restrictions based on class (both skills and weapons).
-The Nomad whoch makes the Mako even more pathetic to drive in comparison. The Hammerhead? Not even a blip on this radar.
-The combat, all of it.
-My protagonist not sounding like a dope sometimes.
-The glorious jetpack. The movement set in general.
-Drack, Jaal and Cora.
-Actually feeling like the game is a set of levels rather than shooting galleries.
-Not having to deal with Cerberus.

- Jumpjet/biotic mobility - blind fire - Non-sticky cover system- Cora/Drack/Jaal/Reyes - Cora's rump - Less Corridor shooting Ok. This post made me realize that I've gotten to the point where I just don't even think about the cover system. It's so natural and fluid that it just works. This, right here, is probably my #1 favorite thing about the new combat system. The mobility is a very, VERY close second, but the cover system? Yeah. I like. I like it SOOO good.

Yeah, I'd have to say it's one of the top improvements overall to ME's combat. Looking back, ME1 kind of implemented this a little bit. It was certainly crude in comparison, but it was there. ME2/3 should have refined that instead of making it a sticky-button. I'd like to add weapon crafting. I know a lot of folks aren't into this stuff, but making custom weapons beyond simply adding mods is right up my alley. While some augments ended up being disappointing in practice, others are still very good and make the mixing and matching a lot of fun. Sometimes I'll go back to a planet just to test out some new toys I've made. I wish there was a combat sim on the Nexus that I could access just to test out weapons on a regular basis.

That obviously depends on which game you're talking about it. In terms of combat the original Mass Effect was somewhat lacking. In many way more difficult to the point where I just feel the game is unfair, in other ways easier so that you just wonder "just how stupid are those mobs".
If you compare Mass Effect Andromeda with Mass Effect you find that in Mass Effect: 1) Mobs have virtually no situational awareness, they don't coordinate, it makes no difference to them whether they are being shot at and they hardly coordinate with their team mates. 2) Fights take longer as mobs are more resilient compared to your damage output. 3) Ranged mobs do not usually try to flank you, once shock troops were cleared a fight against ranged mobs could often become draw out for minutes while you were shooting from cover and neither side moves. 4) Massive hits have less effect on mobs: Even a headshot with a heavy single shot sniper rifle does not throw mobs off balance, it is impossible to stop a mob which still has shields. 5) Mobs use virtually no powers that drive you out of cover, such as grenades. 6) Melee mobs had a tendency to be faster than the player characer... well, maybe not every melee mob, but specifically krogan. 7) Your team mates were just as stupid as the mobs, you had to tell them everything. 8) Weapons were less accurate. 9) There were a few enemies that I found straight OP in Mass Effect, namely Krogan Warlords.

I hope they are wearing thick enough gloves to cope with their edges. I don't really have a problem with the Mako. Nomad is alright, but I will not miss it. Also, Mako has weapons so it wins by that alone for me

Kora's jump - if you mean the way she charges into combat - is not exclusive to her. It comes with the melee weapon, the asari sword. You can even shift through cover in some cases if just press the F key. The asari sword is by far the best melee weapon, imho.
