Man, that moment when you stomp through the gates of Denerim in the Final Battle with all the soldiers cheering you on... that was awesome. Not to mention the heartwarming goodbyes you have with every single of your companion, of course, all the hard work you put into your relationships with them paying off with a bang. This was what Bioware was all about.

I didn't even know you could kill Hawke. (shrugs) And "saving her". I don't know; I just couldn't see myself playing a male Hawke, in spite of being male myself. Female Hawke, I have to admit, is slightly more badass than the male one. You can kill both Hawke and your Warden buddy in Inquisition. I've killed my Warden buddy before (not Alistair, but Loghain and Stroud XD) I love playing as male hawke (even though I'm female) I like his snarkyness more than the females. Same, M!Hawke. Not a fan of female customization and VO. Origins, I like better with female, mage vs dwarf is a tough choice.

I got sick of hearing "Can I get you a ladder so you can get off my back!" from the "violent" voice for the umpteeth time.

Indeed, but I liked the experienced voice of it though. I think that was my favourite voice, beyond the British accent of the Inquistor (of both genders).

...lol. Wow. That was... just badass. Way more epic than my female Dwarf Noble origin. Damn, I can see why so many people liked it. I might try it someday just for the origin alone.

Favourite moments? Oh, dear, where to start from? XD In no particular order:
1. Alistair's love confession. Sweet, heartmelting, makes me 'squee' a little every time. 2. Giving Zevran the Dalish gloves. I love how surprised and confused he sounds there and I like to think this is the moment where he decides that your warden is really worth following. 3. Morrigan's talk when you Max out on her Friendship. 'Even though I won't always be worthy of your friendship, I will always value it'. Serves as an awesome foreshadowing that she's hiding and/or planning something, and yet she's come to care about you to the point she softens up, removing that cynical facade for your sake. 4. Storming the Denerim Gates and saying your farewells. I almost always tear up. 5. Dog bringing you a kid when you first enter Denerim and asks you to keep him. XD Nice reverse on the 'Can I, pwease? I think he likes me!' 6. Oghren fainting at the idea of a girl foursome taking place. XD 7. Oghren: *drunk* Hey you... I've been watching you... Where can I get some sauce for that rump roast? Male Warden: Right here, you mad dwarven stallion! Oghren: *Approves +4* *Passes out*
I'm sure there are others, these are the ones off the top of my head. XD

There are a lot of funny descriptions on certain items as well, such as this one from the Cinch of Skillful Maneuvering in Witch Hunt:
"Shaper's Assistant Hilson worked at the excavation site in Cadash Thaig. By all accounts, he had an uncanny ability to dodge falling rocks and other work-related hazards. Unfortunately, Hilson drowned in his bath one day, and the belt passed on to a friend."
Skillful indeed. I could never pull that off.

There are a few instance that I really like about Origins, that aren't that remarkable. For example, the Slim Couldry quest... I don't know I like those. Or Oghren berseker training dialogue. Or returning home to the alienage. Cyrion makes you feel like home. Or killing Loghain in the Landsmeet

EDIT: Nevermind, I just read you haven't played Inquisition yet, that thread is bound to be full of Inquisition spoilers.

Mine's not really related to any cutscene or quest. It was when - as Amell - I got to see Kinloch Hold for the first time since leaving and Calenhad Docks music started to play. It's worth noting it was my first time hearing it in DAO (I didn't hear it in my previous pts).
Something about that moment was simply perfect.

I have forgotten how epic is the final quest, following the route of the Siege of Vigil's Keep in Awakening. Saving the city is good, but saving the Vigil is EPIC (and realistic). Added to my fave moments of DAO. I understand you. I feel the same when I return to the alienage. Is not the quest, is the feeling of... I dunno, fulfillness? Is like closing the cirle. You left like the loser, but return as the fucking hero the set things right.

I have forgotten how epic is the final quest, following the route of the Siege of Vigil's Keep in Awakening. Saving the city is good, but saving the Vigil is EPIC (and realistic). Added to my fave moments of DAO. I wish I had taken that route instead. When I finished my replay of Awakening a few days ago, due to the bugs that affected the quest logs, all my companions were reported dead even though I've made all the Keep upgrades... well, most of the Keep upgrades anyway. Again, due to a bug, I couldn't complete "Bombs Away", I think. I only managed to give Dworkin two Lyrium Sand (as opposed to four). The quest was marked as completed after I gave the first one, but I wonder if it might have affected the outcome of the Keep. Anyway, that whole thing soured my experience, and I was disappointed that all my hard work was invalidated by a bug. Luckily, jumping ahead to the epilogue using the debug command allowed me to realize that it was only the quest logs that were bugged, and that most of my companions (save Justice and Velanna) did survive, and the epilogue did recognize my upgrades. It definitely didn't feel as epic as you described "The Siege of Vigil's Keep" though (even though my Warden felt like she was "doing the right thing", defending Amaranthine). Kinda wish I could've seen how much more explosive that conclusion would've been.

When you find out about broodmothers and nailing down the random two handed sword to the Archdemon.
I read from and old post the old "companions get bited by darkspawn but don't get infected" thing and that immediately reminds me that originally that was a feature they had in mind to put in the game and then you had to put your companions through the Joining but got removed, such a shame.
