The other day at Meijer I saw a Rainbow Dash mustang. It looked exactly like this. It even had the same license plate number, but I don't remember if it was from Florida or it was my state.

The night before I scared myself with very dark pee. I drank a glass of water and figured I'd see tomorrow. This morning I scared myself again with very dark pee. 😟 I went out on internet and scared myself some more. 😱
I felt pretty okay though, hardly dying. I hit myself lightly on my kidneys but there was no tenderness. One thing, I was physically worn and tired from having done physical work for a couple of days. Maybe the body recovering had something to do with it? Maybe I was dehydrated, despite not feeling it? Anyway, pee got much paler rather immediately, and stayed so, so I've pushed back my concern for now.
For some reason I started contemplating my roots for much of the day. This is a bit stiff and I don't know if I want to say so much.

Bought a cheapo telescope for the "kids" for Christmas. Its honesty nothing special at all...didn't want to shell out big dollars for something they might not be interested in for long... And it is legit the best thing I have bought in a long time That is, once I finally found the moon after I kludged all the parts together without looking at the instructions or how to use the damn thing. It will probably take some time before I can get it working right, but I was like a kid in a candy store once I found the stupid cheese moon

I was starting to get the lockdown blues, the grinding monotony is awful, it's like coastal erosion for the human psyche/spirit. So earlier today in the wee small hours of the morning I thought What the hell, fuck it, this lockdown is really starting to get to me and the pubs are all closed, I need something to cheer myself up, it's a shame to waste all those unused drinking tokens. Quick, break out the credit card and hit the emergency retail therapy button! So I went to the Amazon UK site and bought the 32" Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor. Managed to get it in the sale for £499.99 GBP, usually retails at £629. I feel better already! (well for a little while at least)

Goddam, I'm longing for a cigar. I haven't smoked a cigar for something like 12 years or so. I suppose the smokeless tobacco that I've fooled around a bit with lately has something to do with it. Well, not gonna too. Smoke a cigar indoors and you'll ruin your home. Maybe when spring and summer comes again, I'll sit on my porch and smoke a cigar. Thing is, I hardly know where to buy them these days.

I smoke indoors, I have found that if you don't smoke cigars every day and clean surfaces regularly the smell hardly lingers, and what remains actually smells good. Just make sure to smoke quality cigars. Of course, if you don't live alone that's almost always not an option.

I have only ever smoked one cigar that was claimed to be Cuban. Have no idea if it was. Probably not. It was different though. I didn't like it. It was dense, almost tasteless and the little taste there was lacked that cigar 'spiciness'. It was also rather sooty. While almost tasteless, the smoke was still unpleasant.

Been seriously depressed lately, today has been an all time low for me in this regard. It's that time of the year, plus Covid19 stress. This is when you need to just grit your teeth and dog on, not letting go. If you have time to take a walk around noon every day, when the light is best, it should help. In my experience, endurance exercise helps against low moods, but strength exercise doesn't. Use some cold-light lamps in your home. 4000K or maybe even some 6000K. Only having those "popular" 2700K lamps everywhere during the winter, can possibly affect your mood. Don't listen to moody, whiny or angry music. Check out some classical music or upbeat, energetic rock. A mantra I fixed to myself decades ago, is find those things that give you some joy and make an effort. Don't allow yourself to mire in the misery. Deny it. Push it away.

Myself, I can observe that my "archeological dig" came to a standstill - when the end was in sight - many days ago and hasn't proceeded since. And I don't really have any immediate plans to start again. I have sketched a draft for some scenes in a new story, but I need to leave that alone and see if I can't finish something instead. I have also done a couple of paintings.

This is when you need to just grit your teeth and dog on, not letting go I think my problem is all that plus my gut infection having come back right out of the blue, and that bigger and worse than ever before. I'm having nothing but blood on the toilet and the pain makes me climb the walls. No drug helps here. (Painkillers don't work because they get metabolized in the guts) I hoped for at least a somewhat decent Christmas and birthday after disastrous 2020 but yeah, seems like this year ends it with a bang for me. But you need a lot more to destroy me.

But you need a lot more to destroy me. I know nothing about gut infections, so I can't be of help. I've had an armor plated stomach all my life. Only problem was the embarrassing one (hemorrhoids, but that went away when I stopped working and spent less time on a chair by a computer and more taking long walks (my toenails also got a lot better; barefoot almost all the time now). I take for granted that you're communicating with doctors and have a diagnosis? Because otherwise I would be concerned; Such symptoms can be something dangerous that need immediate attention. My Aunt suffered a few times from her guts blocking themselves someway, needing emergency attention and eventually surgery because the gut had cut off blood circulation to itself and a piece of it had died and needed removal. As a consequence of the surgery, she got a fungus infection (from the stomach content seeping out) and almost died. In the end an experimental, horribly expensive drug saved her, but the fungi had attacked her eyes and lessened her vision. It got better eventually though.

No I do not, its an untreatable medical condition, I spent many weeks in the hospital the past few years and I could not be helped. The only drug that was supposed to work had such severe side effects I had to quit taking it after the third dosage. And that's it. The only thing they did was to help with fluids to counter the constant blood loss, but I can do that myself at home. Yeah its hard to believe in this day and age there are medical conditions where you can't do anything at all, but this is one of them. People have no clue what causes it, how the inflammation really works and how to make it better or even cure it. Drugs that usually work against inflammations don't work either. - I can only wait, endure and hope for the best, and if I get fever its a sign my gut is leaking, then I need an emergency surgery or die. I get it every year for the whole winter, I'm practically perfectly healthy and healed from late spring till late autumn. Not sure why its so bad this time. (my vitamin D levels are normal)

What hurts the most is the unfairness, I did nothing to deserve that - yes I know its the wrong way to think about these things. Bad things just happen, but still.....
