The fact that this weapon has gone from 90 max damage per bullet to 190 makes it finally gold viable.In the gameplay below I used a Turian Soldier with Turbocharge and the stability skill upgrade.It works so damn well.I'd still advise you use the stability mod for the assault rifle as the kick on it can still be hard to handle. All in all this is a great patch update buff to this weapon. It's useful and does such great damage to weak points on enemies. It destroys the Kett and Remnant.If you've unlocked it then use it with a soldier build and wreak havoc !

On a soldier/turbocharged character, it's viable... but almost all guns are viable on a weapons character.
But on a normal character without TC, it's certainly not godly. It's passable on gold, and really relies on medium distance enemies. But if I see a Krogan charging me, or a Fiend approaching on gold, that's not a gun I want in my hands.
Shooting non approaching enemies and having time to line up headshots certainly helps, but a smaller map, with fast approaching enemies is a disadvantage for the player.

I've been using it with the Turian Soldier against all enemy types and the stability,alongside the weapon weak point damage is insane.1 clip will take down a charging Krogan if you aim for the head. It works on Infiltrators too so it can be used with the rest of ME:A's warriors. Mainly though it's fun to use.You need to time your shots,you can hip-fire with little-no accuracy penalty and it drops The Remnant so quickly. |

I am fixing to try out the Valkyrie on my Agent with Barrel + Stock which will give me 54% stability. I'm thinking that should be perfect for keeping the kick down when popping heads off of burning baddies.
editar: the Valkyrie is pretty fun on Garrus. The 54% stability almost negates all of the kick so if you shoot at the lower mouth of an enemy it will land the third shot in the middle of the forehead.
