The two threads that were deleted.

"Friends, BSNers, PuGS... lend me your ears" still survives in post-form in "Your Last Pug" but the thread was deleted and I was warned for spamming. I argued that fanart and poetry is allowed, but in retrospect, I suppose poetry about the death of BSN might be seen as not necessarily about BioWare (sort of.)

And of course "Discussing moderation is a moderatable paddlin'," and so forth, so warning for the one asking them to stop deleting threads linking people to offsite forums etc.

I made a second version that eliminated all reference to moderation, but after getting two warning points in as many minutes, I figured even that was pushing it, so I edited the post out and told them to lock it.

I was thinking more like, "I can't quite bring myself to ban you, you douchebag, but don't push it."

It's very hard to read modbot tone.

It will never cease to amaze me how much warning points can be handed out like candy.

Yet, I get one. Only one. First one ever. And tried to permaban me with it.

I like how they tell you to review the site rules... but you can't check the site rules if you're banned...

My first perma ban was for "Racist me-soggy-knee" against the proud Dalish people... According to Lob at least...

The second one was for telling them to eat a bag of dicks.

Have I told everyone my story about Ninja Stan? I don't think so, since we weren't allowed to discuss that stuff on the old BSN.

Here it is: Stan once gave me a three-day ban for something I can't quite remember; I believe it was the result of one of my regular posts being mistaken for a shitpost. Anyway, I contacted him to complain, and he not only refused to remove the ban, but actually extended my ban for daring to argue with him. I then PMed one of the devs (it was either Jeff Rousell or Bryan Johnson, I can't recall which) complaining about Stan abusing his authority. The dev removed my ban and said he would look into it. I won a great victory that day.

It's old. Thankfully, I was only perma'd once. I wasn't able to review the forum rules unfortunately, what with being banned and all. Might explain the subsequent bans on other accounts.

Edit - Come to think of it, I've somehow managed to evade new warning points since this whole thing went down. Have I really not been shitposting?

I can't remember now which mod I got my warnings from - could have been mod 2.

One was for a hilarious thread about something which maybe wasn't that funny.
The Second was for telling an incessant misery guts what an ass he was.

ok, I probably deserved both, but I wish they would have timed out after time.

It's almost like the mods on BSN were over sensitive and responed to everything with excessive force...
