Blunt and open - I love it. Nothing more, nothing less. Stellar graphics, a lot of variety in characters, weapons and mods and a combat pace like ME3MP on speed. Don't forget jet packs. But I'm biased anyway as I finished my first gold solo last night only which let my motivation rocket high. And finally a lot of motivated, helpful and considerate players. (And yes I know the bugs and flaws and blue screens and kick-everybody-lobby-mates etc., it just can't (yet) outbalance my positive feelings/experience.)

I was enjoying myself a lot. Then they gave us S weapons which, until I get the chance of proper testing at rank X, feel like a slap in the face every time I get them. Not just for those guns, but for their ignorance in thinking it would satisfy us. And maybe they're ok, but I won't know until I earn 2.5 million credits whilst feeling shitty about them. And that keeps breaking my spirit, focussing me on all the terribleness instead of the gem Urizen talks about. I was able to see the gem, but last night put a blinder over my eyes and I haven't been able to take it off.

First of all it is not your business. Second, the quoted sentence shows that you have no clue about the problem. Third, please enjoy you playtime. Asking questions about whether people like a game in a forum dedicated to said game is not my business? With respect, kindly fuck right off, good sir. Look who is salty ... I kindly remind you that I made no personal insult so please try to keep your manners. You were not just asking question but you were smearing half BSN with your first sentence then you were complaining about people complaning on the internet ... ^^ and you still have no clue about the problem ...

I feel that since I have limited time for gaming in life now, that it has lead to a better enjoyment of the game overall. I'm still having a lot of fun playing and will continue to do so until it stops being enjoyable.

Manners? I said "with respect." I'm not sure what more I can do. And for the record, I also made no insult. A request that you fuck off is just that: a request; nothing ad hominem about it. Neither did I smear half of BSN. My first sentence was about the general character of the internet. Beyond that, at no point did I complain. I expressed puzzlement. And no, I'm not going to ask what "the real problem" is that you think I'm missing. I don't care.

I kinda enjoy the game. Wouldn't be playing or posting here if I didn't. Without DLC it won't last tho. The game desperately needs: 1) Platinum 2) 1-2 more faction 3) 3-5 more maps 4) Some of the most aggravating bug solved Hell fooking hell yeah to platinum. It really is needed now more than ever. And JEPs. I want ma JEPs bak!

I get that BSN's a part of the internet, and therefore prone to wild hyperbole, angst, anonymity, and tits (or quarian ass, as the case may be). But seriously, lately it feels like the average post's sodium content has risen to something like 80%. Most of you sound like you're stuck in a loveless marriage and going through the motions. Is whangsty circlejerkage just what all the cool kids are doing these days, or do the majority of you actually despise your playtime as much as your posts indicate? If so, why are you still playing? I've had a blast playing this game post-patch. Is it ME3? No. It's missing its predecessor's variety and several of its best mechanics. But honestly, MEA is the most fun multiplayer I've played in the time since I stopped playing 3. I agree that we need new enemies and new weapons beyond reskins, but I'll also unashamedly say that I enjoyed the shit out of my playtime last night almost exclusively using the "Common S" weapons. Is it just me, or are there other people who legitimately enjoy this game? If so, it'd be nice to hear from you. Sodium chloride content.
To answer your question, I can't put my finger on it, but Andromeda MP does not have a hook in it by whatever reason. I am more compelled to replay the seven SP games.
The thing is, there is nothing I dislike about Andromeda MP specifically. I just seem to prefer to grind romances and SP runs, which are just as repetitive as the MP. Also, SP character builds and the way you play it in Andromeda itself is super-close to the MP this time round, and the enemies fall like flies, so it's a gamegasm without having to step over the threshold of apprehension that all MP with strangers do have.
So, it is a good game, I like it. I've enjoyed it while playing it.
And I ain't playing it. not a big loss, 'cause I am just a no-good casual. I even stopped hoarding Strike Teams loot and buying things with MFs a few days ago.

Will you still complain that the store is dirty, overpriced, and has long lines? Will you switch to some other types of food? Or start on a diet? Various people have different level of tolerance. Seems like your level is quite high, does not mean everyone is on the same boat.

I sincerely envy you, OP. I guess I'm one of the "salty" people you refer to, and with good reason. I'm going to assume that your question is genuine and not just thinly veiled meta-whining. You admit that this game is not ME3MP. And that's fine. What is not fine is that what we got is a downgrade in just about every conceivable way, except for graphics. Someone else articulated why the game just doesn't have that "magic" anymore much better than I could, so I'm just going to quote them: I disagree that it's the enemies, although they are certainly impacted by what I believe to be the actual problem. Weight. There's no heft, no oomph, nothing hits. You almost have to use your imagination to round out that anything happens at all. Enemies are small and maps are bigger to allow for more of the floatier gameplay brought about by jetpacks. Headshots barely work off host and are rewarded with a reticule animation, as opposed to a popped melon. The fiend may as well be a housecat sneaking up on you, especially with the teleports. Guns, while buffed, still do not ring out like you've really done damage. The hardest hitting shotgun, the Dhan, has a projectile that appears ethereal whereas the Claymore fired pure, unrelenting hatred. The enemies lack weight as well. Beserkers almost float when they deliver an elbow. There's no sound when they rush you, no footfalls at all. As a result you never feel like you're in danger, you only get to feel bored or annoyed. In a way, I can sympathize with the stupidity of "My Shields are down? How?" The feel is just off - it just is. There is a disconnect between your actions and the results that just lacks a visceral aspect that was much more present in ME3MP. Don't believe me? Go back and play a Melee KroSent and watch how your actions register. Throw in bugs, anti-consumer, microtransaction-heavy design, an abysmal networking performance and the frankly pathetic show both effort and communication-wise that devs are putting on and you shouldn't have trouble understanding the current climate of negativity among the playerbase. The usual counter, "vote with your wallet (and STFU)" is something that simply doesn't work, if the end goal is to have developers/publishers reverse course and drive home the message that this shit don't fly with us. If you're having fun, that's great. More power to you. I personally burned out before reaching the 100 hour mark, despite putting in an average of 7 hours a day during the pre release and the first weeks. YMMV.

My problmes with it are: - challenge system jut not as good or as clear for me. - Banners are so much worse - I do not like apex missions, I far preferred the old weekend challenges - The game play is so frenetic I can't really enjoy anything good that I have done because you are getting shot up constantly. - There are some quite good parts of this game as well but they just have a number of game play designs that counter reach other. ie We want this to be player coop but we don;t want anyone to camp but we want people to use cover but we will make every opponent try and knock you out of cover, we want you to use back packs and to use levls but we will have some opponents that we now have to make teleport or fly

Go back and play a Melee KroSent and watch how your actions register. My point - and yes, I was being genuine for the most part - is that from reading the posts here one could be forgiven for thinking a very large percentage of the community actively hates this game. That's fine too; a community is no less valid if its commonality is its hatred of a thing than if it is its shared enjoyment. I was just curious is there was still a quiet contingent of BSNers like myself that actually look forward to playing.

I think it's as simple as human nature. We're more likely to spend our time complaining about what we don't like than writing effusive posts about what is good. I am in the liking the game camp, though I am feeling that wane due to lack of content and progression. Unlocking up to Rare weapons and flying up the Apex leaderboards drove me. Now that I'm in the UR grind, and running out of characters I feel like leveling, I have been playing more SP after I get the Apex dailies done.

I've enjoyed the hell out of MEAMP. It's helped me keep in touch with my cousin out of state since we play together, if nothing else. It's got a lot going for it, but at the same time it is just so disappointing. I'm not going to go on a rant about how superior ME3MP was, since we've seen enough of that. There's just so much wasted potential and the devs just don't seem as passionate as they should be. The most recent examples being the lazy "S" versions of the common weapons and the "bonus pack" being a crappy uncommon pack.

That is definitely a motivating factor me too.

I don't really enjoy it. I reinstalled Destiny and downloaded Rise of Iron. It feels good to shoot guns that feel good again.. but I do miss the side dodges.

Destiny indeed has great shooting mechanic. Definitely the best one I played. I just didn`t like Destiny because PuGging was too hard... and it was too complicated requiring either I look up online, buy a guidebook or watch stupid youtube. At least, MEAMP is way better for casual anonymous player like myself.

I agree that we need Platinum, but now I don't know if we'll ever get it. The dev team is so small as it is and only 13% play gold too. They might be thinking there are bigger fish to fry. Like more S weapons! And what was the percentage for me3mp in that regard? Only curious. I could try to google it, but tbh, my google-fu sucks.

However as I can't divide myself I need to focus hence it's MEA currently. Anyway nothing (yet) compares to Shep, I was a messiah, a giant, a hero of the universe. But I need to abd will get over it. And yes we want/need platinum although most likely I will die at least half of the time. Might consider sending my son (playing my characters) he certainly would rock it. LOL
