Went for all recharge speeds and can have overload and energy drain on essentially 3 second timers.
Barricade 1pt (a clutch 1 point at times throughout s game considering the 10% extra damage gold enemies now have)
Standard Shied Drain and Overload (non-chaining version) with all efficiency selected.
Bioelectric Defense: evasion, augmentation, Bioelectric ward
The fun stuff seems to be in Bioelectric Focus
Going with efficiency, focused damage and detonation feedback.
The feedback is 50% power recharge speed NOT +50% recharge speed. This means a 12 second base overload and energy drain would half to 6 seconds then and you get all those plus bonuses.... essentially leading to 3 second cool downs on overload and shield drain when you combo and kill something.
The description seems incorrect. If I combo something and the. Kill it quickly with a weopon (tech combos are weak) I still seem to be getting that 50% power recharge reduction.
Essentially just setting off combo after combo after combo.
I've been using tech power and and xp boosters but now at 20 I might switch to fire ammo... stronger combos and really fast recharge speeds on two powers... essentially unlimited spam between the bullets and charged overloads (enemy pending)...
CLIFFS: detonation feedback seems to work even if the combo doesn't kill the enemy as long as you kill them quickly after..

I only have him at 7, but I run with the same setup. Skip barricade, max all recharge, and run & gun explode things. P.A.W. with incendiary ammo. Put on a recharge booster for even more OP.

Yep, that's the build. I'm thinking to switch from 4b to 4a on both, Overliad and ED, becsuse CD is fast enough even without them. Seems viable. The extra shields restored would work as well but how functional is the damage of energy drain? With a base of 175 the upgrade doesn't add much. Also, a charged overload does/doesn't strip an annointed's shield would make the difference on 4 overload for me. Still have to play test t. Though if I were chaining I'd take the damage. They seem to have increased the chain damage which means hitting 5 enemies with overload could rack up some points...and strip a bunch of shields... |

He is a beast. Just slap Shadow/PAW and Equalizer with Incendiary Ammo on him... Was using Durpicane to test bloom changes. But yeah, he can combo well from range too with shadow... I like to go down a lot though so I'd use a CQ weopon.... Going to run incendiary 1 ammo for extra smash... |

I've yet to find a build for HSent or Architect that felt better with more than 1 point in Barricade than the alternatives without. Tried the primer evo a couple different times, but with very few exceptions (just uploads, really) I always felt like it bogged me down; I don't like slowing my advance to cower. I guess in my experience the bottom line is that I find the rank 1 version situationally quite useful without further investment, and I don't see much difference in utility from rank 1 to rank 6. |

Couldn't agree with you more about getting bogged down. That's why I prefer the Asari Sentinel to the human. Backlash is far superior imo. |

Don't have Examplar yet, but generally speaking with regard to Energy Drain, the added ability to prime is what makes this evo worth taking much more so than the DOT and shield recover over time. I would think that would be more applicable with this character than any of the others with ED. And yes, it's never been listed as such, but Overload has always primed with all characters. I also skip Barricade. It is a decent one pointer, and investment further in that skill will simply bring the Exemplar closer to the Human Sentinel build and functionality, something that at least I would avoid. This is an UR kit therefore supposed to be among the most unique ones in game. Playing like a common kit is not cool.
I believe Bioware's decision to give him Barricade was a poor one, but it went this way likely due to the lack of options. Giving the Angara a Biotic power would be against the lore, while any other Tech or Combat skill would either make him overpowered (which in itself is not a problem, since this is an UR kit) or render some other kits obsolete (something arguably wrong).
I have him at X, but for those who have unlocked him at low tiers, I would advice investing in Energy Drain all the way to the 5th Rank (primer), then full Passives and lastly 5th rank of the 'Fitness' tree (-20% cd). He can chain combos extremely fast, to a point that at times you forget you also have a gun.

Why would I need double UR packs? I only needed a total of ten URs to get the new kit up to X and I only needed ten rare cards to get the Reegar to X. It took fifteen [total] Premium to get Reegar to X and the 28(1) for the Exemplar. Of the first fifteen, I believe four or five of those were shared Reegar and Exemplar. No double URs, just double on Exemplar and Reegar. Funny thing was in most of those, the Exemplar was in the last card when revealing them - which was odd. Some of us still need around 25 cards to max URs...  |
