Thinking about which are the unique features of MEAMP compared to ME3MP.
I learned in killabkilledb thread bsn.boards.net/thread/10992/killing-armored-targets-barrels-favorite a very creative method of using the environment for taking down enemies. One I simply wasn’t aware of. Kudos to him. What made me thinking which other unique features does MEAMP offer which might be used not enough yet or might not even being discovered. Kind of hidden gemstones.
To give my favorite example. Jet packs and hovering. I’ve read quite a few don’t like it. I consider it a real improvement and new “power” in MEA. ME3 was pretty two-dimensional. In MEA we can now (for seconds) fly and kill enemies up in the air. Three-dimensional. I admit I’m using myself this ability far too less – still learning it - and if I watch the majority of games I’m in only rarely this skill is utilized.
I watched (please forgive me referencing him again) my son recently playing Turian Havoc. I believe he must have been 50% of his time up in the air (Icebreaker). It was a completely different gameplay. His team mates down to earth ensuring enemies are coming under fire and him strafing them from up and beyond. Very efficient I thought and although I cannot yet imitate him I’m willing to invest some time in exploring the flying capability.
What else do you perceive as unique improvement?

What I truly appreciate about current MEAMP is how stable it runs.
ME3MP on PS3 had one of worst stability amont all games. It froze on Collector until the very last day... and a player MUST RESET PS3 after 3-4 games playing match. Otherwise the PS3 will start having diarrhea all over your game.
Now... MEAMP was WORSE than that before patch 1.06. The game had about 25-30% drop rate and it was unforgivable.
Patch 1.06 fixed it. and I am happy about it. But I still won`t forget what I went through first 2 months of games.
Can you guys imagine being scared of disconnect every game you play? ...and the feeling you get when you get actually disconnected? Yuk... BW should be ashamed.
Sorry but I had to rant. But the message is that Current version of MEAMP runs very very smooth and stable on PS4. It`s a good game.

unique to meamp would have to be jetpacks inability to reload cancel and shitty stagger mechanic that prevents you from doing anything (was better when you couldn't be staggered)

Everything feels like its made of marshmallows, all light and floaty and stupid. Also, I would describe the character commentary as special.
Environment kills aren't unique to ME:A. You could get them in hazard maps in ME3MP (better against teammates though). They are, however handled differently in ME:A, where you can bring explosive canisters where you need them with pull. Best addition is the concept of match modifiers, they're not implemented perfectly, but its something.

Better drop rates for UR-stuff, jetpacks, no filthy Quarians (yet), only 7 waves, faster gameplay, being able to buy certain stuff from mission-funds like revives + exp-enhancer, less laggy games, no Dagger Hazard, separate cooldowns for each power, mobile app, sexy Krogan females playable.
Probably a lot more.

Only 7 waves and less lagg so far, cause it's true, I don't need to reset my console every time I've encountered collectors lol and I don't suddenly freeze, or my console don't, so that's a plus.

What is unique for me, is that it is the game the better resembles ME3MP. Apart from that, nothing really shines

I'll admit that the added mobility and aerial acrobatics leads to some pretty fun stuff. I mean, running forward, leaping into the air, firing a power combo at a group, blasting with a shotgun, and landing a big AOE on them for a multi-kill is neat, still. But we still lost so much compared to ME3MP. I'd trade it all away in a heartbeat if it meant we got things like heavy melee back.

oh and I forgot to add teleporting with the pizza instead of being made slower than walking speed, its always nice to have some mook on the objective so you can teleport to it then back to the zone for drop off on another one, makes it so much faster to get them back

This, but the true offence for me was that 1.) the combos weren't doing ANY damage and that Bioware didn't only refuse to admit that it wasn't intended - it also took them months to fix this!! it is already unbelievable that they didnt notice this before release but that they didn't even bother to give it a "quick checkup" when they saw so many people complaining is UNFORGIVABLE. 2.) the weapon balance

Now the tables are turned; Fiends will regularly freeze the host's game on Xbone if he gets close to him.

I'm pretty happy with the MEAMP. I only played a bit in ME3MP (maybe 100 matchs maximum), but I really like the fluidity that the jet packs brings in here and the movements of you character in general, it's more fast paced. The flashy combo stuff is pretty nice even if we still miss some pretty cool powers (maybe a comeback on a new character?) I do really miss the heavy melee and I still wonder why they didn't bring it back here.

Fiend teleport sync killed lmao....
No seriously. I think jetpack is got to be the most special part in MEAMP. Although I am still trying to utilize it fully, I find myself not using the hover function.
