BUILD: Invasion (Rank 6): Rank 4 – Recharge Speed, Rank 5 – Epidemic, Rank 6 – Virulence
Overload (Rank 6): Rank 4 - Damage, Rank 5 – Anti-Shield, Rank 6 – Max Chain Damage
Shield Boost (Rank 1)
Offensive Tech (Rank 5): Rank 4 – Damage/Duration, Rank 5 – Anti-Armor, Rank 6 – Elemental Tech
Support Systems (Rank 6): Rank 4 – Radius, Rank 5 – Health/Shields, Rank 6 – Shield Reset
JUSTIFICATION:
Invasion: Recharge speed over outbreak because epidemic (rank 5) enhanced by radius evolution from support systems gives you a lot of spread. You need to be able to spam it more often. Virulence is necessary if you like to watch fancy, fun filled fireworks.
Overload: With patch 1.08 buffs, overload has become beast like for damage/stun/crowd control. Rank 5 shield damage strips all shields off different enemy factions. The chances of you chaining more than 3 enemies are remote. Maximize chain damage on rank 6 for your 3 mook chain (Rank 6 shield damage would be overkill for shields).
With this evolution, here are the damage numbers for Overload: Base damage charged per enemy = 480, 1740 for a 3 mook chain Base shield damage: 1155, 3765 for a 3 mook chain Base armor damage : 600, 2100 for a 3 mook chain
With a 80% bonus from passives and engineering kit, Base damage charged per enemy = 720, 2460 for a 3 mook chain Base shield damage: 1395, 4485 for a 3 mook chain Base armor damage : 840, 2820 for a 3 mook chain As you can see, overload is intense these days…You need this power at rank 6.
Offensive tech: Rank 4 damage/duration enhances your powers for more damage. Duration enhances invasion & overload’s stun duration. Rank 5 armor bonus enhances power effectiveness against armored foes. Rank 6 elemental boosts weapon damage if you equip elemental ammo. However, the operator’s powers on their own don’t synergize with elemental tech (if you haven't pre-primed with elemental ammo).
Support Systems: Rank 4 radius evolution enhances invasion spread radius, virulence explosion radius, shield boost radius and overload chain radius. It’s a no-brainer. Rank 5 health/shields and Rank 6 shield reset will greatly increase your survival rate.
Shield Boost: 1 point for that “oh sht” moment. You also have shield reset from support systems to keep you plenty alive. If you’re still dropping like a lemming with these 2 get outta jail cards and stun from overload (stun and run if you're in trouble), you should play a lower difficulty level (silver or bronze) instead. Anything more than 1 point on shield boost is a waste of your god given damage potential.
WEAPON (Mid-range play):– Ruzad w/Barrel/smartchoke, Crusader w/Barrel/Receiver, Dhan w/Barrel/Ammo, or similar, if you’re not using elemental ammo. Revenant w/Barrel/Scope, or similar if you’re using elemental ammo
EQUIPMENT: Engineering Kit
PLAY STYLE: This is perhaps the best support kit in MEAMP. Cast invasion on more muscular enemies in a crowd as they tend to stay alive long enough for efficient spread of infection. Definitely spray on bosses (hydras, fiends, etc), as they are long lasting bullet sponges that will help maximize the spread. Target spawn points for casting invasion. Spraying invasion on a weak lonely adhi doggie (with no infection recipients nearby) may not be the best use of this power.
Use overload frequently to strip shielded enemies, stun armored enemies, etc (preferably pre-infected with invasion) before you unload your weapon. Also, use overload for combo detonation when priming with elemental ammo. Without elemental ammo, your damage output will be high and you are perfectly viable. But, elemental ammo boosted +35% gun damage (elemental tech) coupled with the invasion debuffs will turn you into a savage beast.
Good luck & God bless.

I wanted to stop reading at 1 in shield boost but I'm interested enough to try it. The stun and damage on overload is really good now. Shield boost also helps PUG teammate and objective rounds. Its not an issue of go to lower difficulty, its about using a support character for support. Priming ammo cannot set off elemental tech. Last time I checked, and I hope I am wrong, but invasion does not set off elemental tech either. Only your overload can do that and it does it for 1.8 seconds only. Using disruptor ammo and a fast ROF weapon may extend it for harder to kill targets. Either way, a dhan type weapon should be able to get off 2 shots in that time frame... The engineer does what you are building this character to do a little better. Snap freeze sets off elemental tech for 8 seconds. With cry ammo its a beast and it has overload for stun. You might be better of skipping offensive tech or going to 4 and 4 in shield boost... or even 4 in overload and going for recharge speeds to cast it more often... Between spreading invasion and overload rank stun, are shields really a problem? A maxed shield boost, it could be argued, will allow you to be more aggressive and put of more DPS.

At the very least I would skip the Shield Reset on Support Systems Rank 6 to put more points into Shield Boost. That said, I still don't have this guy to Rank X, and haven't decided how I will spec him once (if) I get him there.

Another kit the RNG god sees fit to deny me. What have I got to sacrifice to make this happen?

this is an interesting build. i agree with everyone else here that shield boost is usually too good to pass up, but i think the your more offensive invasion/overload based operator build would be really fun as well, if not optimal.
also, i've actually had a lot of success throwing invasion on adhis. you just have to make sure you're far enough away from the rest of your group, and then ignore the adhi after debuffing it with invasion. it moves around the map so fast it can spread your invasion to EVERYTHING before reaching you or your teammates.

Absolutely. I throw invasion on everything I can. It spreads. Just make sure you don't toss it at something that will die before it gets there...

I didn't say that priming ammo will initiate elemental tech. Only incinerate, overload and cryobeam can initiate it (Invasion does not qualify as a elemental a.k.a heat, cold, electricpower). But, yes, elemental ammo equipped fast ROF weapon like the Revenant can prolong the elemental bonus when its initiated by incinerate, overload or cryobeam. 1 point in shield boost with the duration bonus from offensive tech keeps your shields regenerating for ~4 secs. You got a 100% shield reset every 10 secs if you use invasion. You have a group stun from overload you can use between this 4 and 10 sec window. Seriously, with 4 seconds of shield boost duration, a full shield reset every 10 secs and group stun from overload should keep you plenty alive. I never die with this guy and i play very aggressive with a shotgun.

I don`t wanna do the samething with Salarian Operator and that`s all. I enjoy constant shield refilling for him since that`s what makes him different. lol Maybe not better... but different..

Either way Shield boost is useful beyond description. I really like how people take advantage of me giving them shield boost though. I purposefully try to use it near the teammate as much as possible and I can see they like it a lot when I do... lol I should have played him more last night when Apex mission only gave 2 hack objectives.. but I got tired...
