I just did a sera romance and didn't get the slide with the crossbow arm I heard about. Just alot of arrows. Does this change all of them?

My Inquisitor who became a Red Jenny (and kept Inquisition) got the prosthetic. My other Inquisitor who didn't join (and who disbanded Inquisition) did not. I think it has to do with the Red Jennies, but I'm not certain.

I'm fairly certain that you have to be just friends with Sera in order to get the dialogue that leads to this slide. If in a romance, the opportunity doesn't present itself, as far as I can tell.

Whilst I haven't romanced Sera, I believe the relevant decision is whether or not you officially join the Red Jennies. I presume it is possible for you to be in a romance with Sera and yet not officially join. If you join the Red Jennies then you get the crossbow arm; if you do not join them then you don't. Of course, if you don't get the option to join if you are in a romance, then it would seem you only get the crossbow arm if you are a friend and a "Friend".
To qualify for the offer you have to be on high approval; if you have never had the cookies on the roof conversation then your approval will not be high enough for the offer. I think you need also to have done the War Table mission when you choose to work with one of two Jennies up north. Someone suggested elsewhere that you will only be made the offer if you decide to work with Charade in Tantervale. I can't confirm this since I always choose to work with Charade (seeing as she is Hawke's cousin), so do not know the outcome if you do not choose her. |

I was an anti noble noble who was max friends with Sera. I wasn't sure which ending I for sure wanted, so I Disbanded and Didn't disband to see slides. I had agreed to be a Red Jenny either way. And whether I disbanded or didn't disband, I got the slide with slightly different text. So, getting a cross bow arm, from my experience, comes from joining the Red Jennies. Another play through, I wasn't Sera's good friend (no cookies scene), so she never even offered for me to become a Red Jenny. |
