watched The opening, Coruscant and Naboo scenes were fantastic, Tatooine was a bit too long, but more amusing than I thought it is. Great acting by most actors, plot is mostly good. Kid Anakin was fine... haven't you heard of genius kiddos with very high intelligence and learning abilities that their talking skills are average? Anakin is one of them. His mechanical and piloting skills were well earned. He wasn't a marty stu, the whole space thing was lucky and with R2-D2's assistance. Even the first Qui-Gon vs Darth Maul (on Tatooine) was still better than the best TLJ's scene. I gave TLJ 5/10. This movie was almost a good one and Jar Jar can't possibly ruin it. He was actually part of the defense plan and sometime was quite funny! So TPM deserves a 6.5/10

and watched Episode II. It seems like it would be an awesome movie if the Ani-Padme cringe wasn't included. So many other good scenes that are overshadowed by them. Dooku, Jango and the space pursuit, Clones vs Droids battle, duels, Yoda, Obi-Wan and Mace Windu were very good tbh. I also liked how Anakin slaughtered those animals! 6/10

Found this interesting Tarantino interview. If only, it would be absolutely bloody fantastic in terms of super cool space awesomeness. Of course it would never happen as the franchise owners don't have the balls or sense to let a real (talented) movie director make one. It's a real shame as you can tell that Tarantino really "gets"and loves Star Trek and has an instinctive understanding of it. It makes such a big difference when a director has an intimate knowledge of the subject and doesn't have to have things explained to them. I agree with him 100% about the Star Trek (JJVerse) films, Khan (Into Darkness) in particular. Loved the "crappy lawyer loophole" description of the timeline changes. I would never have thought this was going to actually happen when I posted this last year, this is an absolute dream, he's making the new Star Trek film this year. WOW! BTW sometimes it's nice to eat your own words, and I'm particularly pleased to do so in this case. It seems that there are some people in the entertainment business with testicular fortitude and good sense. Sometimes dreams do come true. Standby for some absolutely bloody fantastic super cool space awesomeness. If this does happen this could be extremely important in terms of the depiction of popular science fiction in the visual media. The important thing to recognize about Tarantino is that he's a character, dialogue and narrative based focused film maker, in essence he's a story teller. Why is this important you ask? well for some time mainstream science fiction projects have been a formulaic affair dominated by action sequences and sfx and have neglected the story, plot and characterization in favor of lots of big bangs, explosion's and chaotic running about. If this project happens and is successful there is the possibility that this could pivot sci-fi away from the Michael Bay-esque action and sfx formula and back on to the character, plot and storytelling of classic sci-fi.

So I'm 30 and I was curious about this movie. A nice Chinese drama movie about two 29-30 years old girls (with the same birthday, one is very occupied and not very happy, the other careless and a happy person) and their family, friends, their lifestyles and workplaces who meet each other after some events. Dreamy-like, with good acting, visuals, music and sounds. Not my favorite genre, but still enjoyed it. 7/10

Rewatched the tragedy finally... well written and acted, really amazed me. Palpatine, Obi-Wan, Windu, Yoda were great. Even Anakin's actor did a good job. All those great scenes, dialogues, actions and music. The emotions were well done. If only it was 10 minutes longer it would have covered all those events better imo. The plot and dilemma of the corrupt and tainted Jedi Order with politics and war, and the big government and Chancellor who got powerful more and more since Episode I, the great deception, the sadness of the tragedy in the making really makes you thoughtful... It wasn't great but it certainly was better than just good. So: 8/10

Finally got around to watching on bluray. I remember reading the concept of replicants able to reproduce themselves in a BR novel years ago so it's a surprise to find it integrated into Deckard and Rachael's story. It's a nice tie-off to the question; what happened after they left in the first movie.

Very good movie. Gurira & Jordan were awesome, as was Boseman. The ending was a bit predictable, and the post-credit scenes are NOT really worth waiting for, but overall a great addition to the MCU. Especially liked the vague Samurai themes and the way Wakanda's tech was portrayed. Very clever the way Marvel studios was able to stay so true to the books & still make this flick relevant to today's younger audience. 7.5/10 Also, the way 1992 was made out to be the ancient past had me laughing

A great scene from The Spy Who Came in from the Cold. It's a fine of example of how the world really is, morality fades in the face of reality. Still true today.
BTW, Burton's character Alec Leamas reminds me of Garak from Star Trek DS9.
