Flavor of the month vegetables suck. Brussels, cauliflower etc they all taste terrible. We didn’t eat them for decades for a reason. It’s like mass brain washing or something when everyone starts to like those disgusting things.

So is practically every veggie out there. I admit I prefer fruits over vegetables, but every now and then I honestly do crave a tossed garden salad with tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, green pepper, iceberg lettuce, onions, mushrooms...etc. And I really enjoy raw or cooked broccoli and cauliflower. I find spinach is even great if you put it in a pasta sauce with mushrooms, onions and green pepper. It adds to the flavour. And the potatoes! You can't tell me you don't like potatoes!

There are plenty I like. I just hate all the current fad ones. Some agricultural lobby worked hard to get all the cooking shows, magazines too push that crap. I eat green beans almost every night. Asparagus, peas, potatoes all great stuff.

But I love cauliflower. BBQ beef combined with a few pieces of steamed cauliflower tastes great. Just don't forget the salt. Ok, unpopular opinion time now: The submachinegun is the coolest weapons platform, cooler than assault rifles, pistols, sniper rifles or heavy machine guns. Next to zero recoil, very low ammunition weight and size, longest barrel life, accurate enough for 99% of combat engagement ranges, lightweight and very compact platform. You could make the argument that subguns lack armor penetration but they do penetrate all soft body armors with mild steel core ammunition. Now rifle plated armor they wont penetrate, but neither will assault rifles or light/medium machine guns. So if I ever had to go to war I'd want to be issued a submachine gun, ideally in 7.62x25 or 6.5x25mm, but 9x19 will do too.

Now broccoli, that's an epic vegetable that goes well with everything.

And for those triggered enough to press the report button, I’ve done you a favour. That’s a little bit of exercise for your finger which is the start of something amazing for you. Next step is to get up and walk to the toilet next time you need a piss. I don’t think anyone is triggered they just find it sad that you find so little of value in your own life you obsess over other peoples weights in order to feel better about yourself. At least I’ll live longer than 55.

(OK, I admit it, I am trying to work out how you imagine we piss, if not by getting up and walking to the toilet.)
I would love everybody to be thin, I want the whole world to live a long and prosperous life full of good health. But people need to be told. No more Mister nice Ricky. I never told anyone this but I was once a fatty, And I really liked this girl. I asked her out on Valentine’s Day right in front of her friends and she said no I don’t date killer whales. It hurt me so bad, but I decided I had to do something about it. So I ate celery for 3 years and lost a load of weight so that now I’m a lean machine and now that bitch is the fat one. You can do it, if Ricky can anyone can.

I would love everybody to be thin, I want the whole world to live a long and prosperous life full of good health. But people need to be told. People have been telling me how fat I am since I was four. Sometimes they even lean out of moving cars and yell! Thirty-five years later, I am still fat.
This is not very surprising, since it turns out that fat shaming people is pointless at best for most of us. I guess some people can have their behaviour motivated by insults, but personally I always think 'wow, rude' and go back to whatever I was doing. People who can't treat me with basic respect because they don't like the way I look aren't worth my time.
(I did once lose a bunch of weight because of side effects from a medication I went, on and was a socially acceptable size for a few years. To be honest, I did not care for it. Certainly not enough to want to put actual effort into losing weight. I shall remain a glorious killer whale! People will yell whatever they're gonna yell.)

Like the fact that you were able to use someone's hurtful mockery as a driving force to do something positive doesn't make said hurtful mockery a good thing that's worth aspiring to do to others.

I don’t think anyone is triggered they just find it sad that you find so little of value in your own life you obsess over other peoples weights in order to feel better about yourself. At least I’ll live longer than 55. What you are doing isn't living. and outside incredible levels of obesity so will most fat people. And i'm sure you have a bad habit that shaves potential years off your life. Drink, unsafe sex, drugs, fast driver, tailgater, etc. Until you are perfect which you clearly are far far from, don't sweat other people issues.

I VERY rarely talk with people about their unhealthy bodies because it is really not my business and I could not care less what people do with their lives. That topic does not make for a nice or interesting conversation anyway. Though I have to admit that sometimes it makes me a little sad and confused to see people suffer from their unhealthy weight and I cant help but wonder if they really want to spend their short and only time on earth being fat, ugly and prone to debilitating diseases instead of giving their best to improve themselves on every level possible. I just don't understand their mindset, it is alien to me. But then again I'm a powerlifter and many, if not most, people don't get my mindset either (and they don't have to). It never ceases to amaze me how different people can be. What if I told you that your tax money (or oil/gas-income money, or whatever the source of national income is) is being spent on fat people's healthcare right now?! The expenses would be much lower if people eat less, exercises more and didn't need to visit doctors and hospitals because of obesity... it could have been used to fix a bridge, railroad or sumfin.

I just can't take religious people seriously. If the person starts to talk about Jesus, resurrection or other crap like reincarnation, spirits or whatever I just can't respect his/her intellect. Or even other non-religious crap like astrology (not sure how it is in USA, but in Brazil it's quite mainstream), "karma" or "spiritual energy". I enjoyed this movie a lot

What if I told you your tax money is being spent on educating dumb people, the health care of people who drink too much, have unsafe sex, drive too fast etc. though if you do the math fat people, smokers etc save society money. The really costly people are the healthy ones who live forever after being productive. And the ones you should have a issue with are the unsafe drivers as their actions inflict harm on others. All of which leads to my unpopular opinion that the only moral form of government is anarchy.

It's when they're being serious that you might want to slowly move backwards.

I think you're overestimating the ability of most governments to make wise/benevolent spending decisions. They'd probably use it to invade a third world country or something.

I think you're overestimating the ability of most governments to make wise/benevolent spending decisions. They'd probably use it to invade a third world country or something. Well at least it's more fun than seeing all the obese people around!
