This is REALLY annoying.
Started another playthrough after a long pause playing this game, and while in Haven, suddenly, out of the blue, I started getting a slew of messages informing I just got this and that spec. I ASSUME this is what is supposed to happen when you activate the golden nug. However, I was never near the damn thing, and definitely did not want to use it.
Realizing what's happening, I exited to main menu, and reloaded a save from a little before it happened. Thought nothing of it, and went on playing. Now, several hours of gameplay after, I go to do some crafting, and what do I find? I've got all these high level specs.
Ruined the playthrough for me.
Has anyone else run into this bug, and is there any way to undo this, other than finding a save from much earlier (which I'm not willing to do, and which, apparently would be uncertain to work anyway, given that I DID try to load an earlier save before this happened.)?
Finally, is there a way to REMOVE that damn golden nug from the game? I want nothing to do with the damn thing, and if it can bug out like this, it's a liability.
