www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/1818/?Not my mod, but I figured it'd be worthy of being posted here, a very simple edit that swaps the Casual difficulty in SP with Heartbreaker from MP. Pretty damn cool, didn't even know that stuff was possible. As a result, enemies in SP will be granted the same ability set as those from Heartbreaker in MP. Kudos to user Lamppost in Winter for this mod!

Assuming this specifically 'turns on' the Red Templar archer's confusion arrow I suspect you will run in to some bugs when your teammates swap teams and dies... so save often . Otherwise, these abilities are built to purposely be 'unfair' to the Player but also whacky/fun/challenging - hope you enjoy it

Otherwise, these abilities are built to purposely be 'unfair' to the Player but also whacky/fun/challenging - hope you enjoy it Funny you should say they're "unfair", because I've always felt Heartbreaker was more fair than the single-player modes, as enemies in SP usually had fewer abilities than players. I did in fact run into some bugs with the Confusion shot (purposefully attacked Dorian and he got booted out of the party, oops), but haven't done any extensive testing. If it's serious, I'll make a patch to replace the Confusion shot with something else (loathe to disable it entirely since I think it's cool that Red Templars get unique abilities compared to normal humanoids).
