So I can not believe I never knew about this little area before. But while replaying the start of the game, before the bridge was blown up I selected a piece of loot I never saw before. But then after it was still up there, and I couldn't help but wonder why it would be somewhere unreachable, but then I found a spot where I was able to get up on a path I never knew was there before that led to that half of the bridge. I'm sure everyone already knows about this, but it came as a surprise to me, I hadn't discovered anything new in awhile.

I sure didn't. Usually I just run to the bridge and towards the breach.

I know how you feel! love it when you find things and areas in later playthroughs that you didn't find first.
I just found out about the dungeons, kitchens and libray in Skyhold and I think its my 5th playthrough!
Did you go inside the big vault yet?

Did you go inside the big vault yet? I've seen references to this "vault" before, but it just seems to refer to that big open area in the basement where you find the doors to the library and the wine bottle room. Is there an actual room full of treasure that I have missed? As for the loot on the bridge, I saw it last time I played the prologue, but didn't see a way to get to it. Where is the path?

You have to have these 3 perks first: Sterling Reputation A Favor For A Favor Elite Clientele Then the (gloooorious) vault appears in the basement near the door to the library. "Lord Trifles Minutiae" is often found there... To get to the loot on the bridge: After you jump down into the frozen creekbed to fight those shades (your 2nd fight in the game), you can climb up the rocks on the other side, and get up to a path where there's a burning cart. That path will lead you back to the bridge where you can get the loot.

I finally found that path in my last game, which was PT #10 I believe.

I'll have to try it next time. I'm happy to see that the snowman from the Hakkonite fortress made it to Skyhold and upgraded himself to gold.

So you'd never figured out the whole truth behind Cole's odd doings, I take it?

That little hidden pouch of gold up there was what convinced me to search every square inch of every map in the entire game. Because FOMO!
I found it on my very first run and that was it. Carpal tunnel hitting Search, here I come!
Even so, I still missed The Tiniest Cave. But I excuse myself because the Emerald Graves was my hold-back map. I didn't touch the EG on my first run, saved it for my second. And I wasn't as keen on searching every square inch of everything on my second run. At least, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

From my very first game, I looped back to get that pouch at the beginning, imagining Cass berating me the entire way. So from the very beginning of my very first playthrough of DAI, my obsessive search for everything became firmly entrenched in all my playthroughs. I like to think of getting that pouch as my Inquisitors letting Cass know from the very first meeting, that she may have taken them prisoner, but she can't dictate every thing that they do or don't do.

There's also a hidden "bugged" area in Skyhold that I forgot how you can access, but I finally found an angle from where you can see it through the wall. It's right outside the kitchen door.
