Do you have to like, jump on them 666 times while looking at Blackwall's beard to turn him into a Rage Demon or something?

There are ~~two~~ three of them prominent in the Winter Palace exterior. Seems like a lot of trouble for something that just does an optical trick with the render engine.

I'm hoping Rascoth knows the trick to making them do something cool.

There are 3, not two. One's near Cass, one is on the balcony above the bath and one is on the roof of the tavern near Josie.

I kept hoping there was some really hard to spot "shard" or something to trigger an easter egg hunt there, but I couldn't find anything...

Aren't they something to do with the fireworks? Mind you I've never worked out how to get that to work. What do you press to make them explode at the right time? Still you can see them through the telescopes so I assume there is some sort of trick to it.
