Pretty self explanatory thread. Is there a certain something you would like to see or experience if/when we arrive in the Tevinter Imperium. I personally would like to see the following. 1) The Juggernauts. Giant golems? Awesome! 2) Old God Cult dedicated to Razikale. After seeing the ruins of her temple in the Frostback and considering she is the next Old God in line to become an Archdemon, it would be interesting to see if we could encounter a cult who wants to save her from becoming an Archdemon and allow us to interact with the Old God personally. 3) The city of Minrathous. The oldest and largest human city in the world that has never fallen to siege, hopefully we get a chance to explore this city in detail unlike certain other capitals. *Cough* Val Royeaux *Cough*.
What are you hoping to see in Tevinter?

I'd say what I want the most is finally being able to explore a living, breathing city full of NPCs that have their own routines. I want to see the dark side of Tevinter that we read/heard about so many times for the past 3 games and experience it during quests and other encounters. I want to see the full glory of Minrathous, the good and the bad parts. I wouldn't mind if Bioware would drop a few maps full of wilderness and give us a few cities/villages to explore instead. I honestly can't take another game with maps like MEA and DAI, no matter how pretty they are.

I don't read the books/comics, so what I want to see is Minrathous, the flying cows, Dorian's family estate, blood magic terrors and a lot of really interesting characters to interact with and a bunch of languish stories that actually happen with PC's participation, like in Descent.

Yeah, I'd like to see the Juggernauts as well. I've heard about them a few times. I imagine they're just regular golems but giant-sized, but it would be nice to see.
As I stated in another thread, I would like to see the ugliness of slavery, not just a sanitized, watered-down version.

The veil gone, and the Dread Wolf wreaking bloody havoc everywhere. With my ex-quisitor sitting back and admiring the view. She was pretty fed up with shems by the end.

I want a selfish evil prick of a protag to be an option. I want blood magic. I want an overwhelmingly large city I get lost in and people are shown to actually live in and work in.

I just don't want them to skim over the hard and brutal truths with a sodding codex, like they did in Inquisition. No more rainbows and butterflies!

I hope we'll see a few districts in Minrathous, and see some of the city's highlights. The Dwarven Embassy, the Circle of Magi, the Proving Grounds, the Slave Market, the Juggernauts, their ports & shipbuilding facilities, the catacombs, contrasts between the old and new architecture...
But I'm also hoping we'll have a chance to see a smaller town and villages so we can get an idea of how urban Tevinter contrasts with the rural areas.
For exploration, there are number of areas I'd want to visit - the Arlathan Forest, the Hundred Pillars, sail the Nocen Sea, explore underwater ruins, etc.

Hub world like in BG II, set in Minwhatsitcalled, divided by districts with each origin story taking place in one...kind of like DAO, but more focused.
And if they're planning open world/exploration game, they need to commit to it and study games that do it well ( particularly Mankind Divided).

I just don't want them to skim over the hard and brutal truths with a sodding codex, like they did in Inquisition. No more rainbows and butterflies! 1000xs this! Anyway, Minrathous is the obvious one, in all of it's depravity, crumbling decay and decadence. I've been wanting to see the city since DAO, and if Bioware pull what they did with Val Royeaux I'll be pissed. Who wouldn't want to see this: I want to see the underground catacombs, uncover ancient mysterious and magics in them. The Ambassadoria. The Spire. The Circle of Magi. The Grand Proving Arena. I want to see how the peasants and slaves live. I want to see the shipyards and docks. I want to see everything!

Everything, everything.
By which I mean Minrathous. I really only care about Minrathous. The Constantinople of Thedas. I definitely wanna see the Juggernauts, yeah. Maybe a quest about them too. And they better be big. No underwhelming golems. Nothing is allowed to be underwhelming in Minrathous. When in doubt, be extra. In addition to the general highlights mentioned above I'd like to see the theatre mentioned in WoT, I've forgotten the specifics about that but I'm pretty sure it involved a magical lightshow. Also, since the cuttroatness of the Magisters are emphasized so much I wanna see a street assassination/duel. And ALSO. At least one masked blood orgy is required. Required I say! And, weirdly specific, but an old god street altar down some winding, forgotten alley that is spooky and sad.

From Tevinter, specifically, and not just DA4 in general: give me a great big, glorious Minrathous. I want an urban environment, with markets, slums, fancy architecture, the works, that's at least Hinterlands-level in terms of scope.

I'd like to see a city. But I'd don't want a forest of buildings. I don't necessarily want Minrathous, I'd be perfectly fine with another one. But I want to see it as a place where people actually live and work.

I want a selfish evil prick of a protag to be an option. I could go for that, though what some may call evil I would call cool. Walk in a tavern to join in with the locals for a sing-a-long.

If you can't play as one evil twisted magister after 3 game of hearing about how evil and twisted they are, I'm done. I'd agree with this, with a slight addendum: it also needs to not stretch the credibility of the game's story. The option to be evil but have no real consequence to sociopath-ing your way through the game is worse than not having the option at all. SWTOR has that really bad in places, where the "evil" option is also the "that is completely stupid" option.

Ambassadwarfia. The Juggernauts. Calpernia. Maevaris. Dorian. Fenris. Minrathous as a sprawling, spooky, ancient city that's simultaneously wonderful and horrific.

The option to be evil but have no real consequence to sociopath-ing your way through the game is worse than not having the option at all. I'm still of the opinion that returning Fenris to Danarius should have resulted in some companions breaking tie with Hawke. At the very least, it should have resulted in the relationship meter for every companion except Anders to become rivalry and stay that way. Given the companions' reactions, it made no sense that there were no serious repercussions to that decision.

I want to see Imperial Andrastianism up close and personal. I want to see the aesthetic; the liturgy, the architecture, the art, the music. I want to learn about their ideas, their dogma, through believers and clergy. I'd especially love to meet an Imperial Templar, find out what they're all about. There's a whole other Chantry we haven't even seen yet.
