Kandros here with a tale that your children and grandchildren will be telling for years to come. The Krogan Mercenary heard over comms traffic that a large quantity of ryncol was on Firebase Sandstorm. The Outlaws had left it in their haste as they retreated from the base following the Human Juggernaut’s successful retaking of the facility. Our reserves of his favorite spirit had been depleted in recent weeks, and my soldiers were getting restless. I was just about to assemble a four person strike team when I heard that this Krogan decided by himself to travel to Firebase Sandstorm to retrieve that crate of ryncol. With the APEX Team 30 minutes behind, how much could this Mercenary drink before we arrived?
Apparently not much, because an Outlaw detachment arrived upon Sandstorm at the same time our fellow Krogan touched down. With his unique set of skills, Rage, Fortify, Flamethrower and Flak Cannon, he stunned, head-butted, electrocuted, and immolated all takers. No one was going to stand between him and his prized bottles of ryncol!
I was curious why he chose to use a Hurricane Bulwark with no teammates around, but he growled at me, saying, "I like the color. It matches my Flamethrower!" Hey, whatever works for our resident Krogan Mercenary. We have him to thank for securing our celebratory drinks for the foreseeable future.

First attempt doing a Gold Solo with this character and it was pretty easy. Damage Reduction from Rage and Fortify made him extra tanky. I wanted to see if Flamethrower could be a viable weapon on a Platinum solo, since I think could potentially make it work (use the DOT on Flamethrower on all armored targets, run away, and repeat). I don’t think it’s as good as the ME3 version of Flamethrower, but it might be a strategy worth testing in the future.
Objectives were Hack and Retrieval. Flak Cannon and Explosive Fortify were useful at stunning everything rushing into the Hack circle.
