Platinum Solo with Turian Soldier and the mighty Shorty Siphon

Objectives were Boss, Devices, and Devices. Boss objective is always stressful because of the time limit to dispatch that heavily armored Behemoth. My biggest worry was how I would survive Waves 3 and 5 with those blasted Observers and the Blaze Hydra. For the other two objectives, I thankfully was given double Devices. In previous attempts, I got Hack or Upload for Wave 2 or 4, which resulted in a sad and quick end for me as enemies swarmed into the circles.

Along with the P.A.W., Black Widow, and Crusader Siphon variants, I’ve been most waiting for the Shorty Siphon to enter my collection. I finally got it the other day, and it’s exactly as advertised. Turbocharge, accuracy bonuses in Fortify (5B), weapon bonuses from Munitions Training, a Shotgun Rail Amp IV booster, a Targeting VI IV booster, and the Shotgun Receiver mod made it into even more of a beast. I barely used my recently buffed Piranha Siphon because the Shorty was so good.

Fortify, Hold the Line, and Aerial Evasion worked well to minimize enemy damage, and the Multicapacitor equipment started recharging my shields in 3.45 seconds out of cover and 1.83 seconds in cover.

I went down just three times during the match, which for me is pretty good. First time was during the Boss objective. I was trying to dodge out of the way of being picked up by an Ascendant, but a stupid Wraith was blocking me from behind. Second time was near the end of Wave 3 when I didn’t finish off an Anointed in time before his Soned got me. The last time was on Wave 4 when an Observer snuck up from behind and red-lasered me. Always watch your back!
